I started taking Celebrex two months ago and have gained 18 lbs since. I am wondering if anyone has gained weight on Celebrex? I have a sprained lumbar, lumbago syndrome with back spasms. I can't take narcotic pain meds. Any alternative to Celebrex? Naproxen does nothing for my pain.
He originally had boo hooed any narcotic adhd meds. But he gave me enough for a week. When I took the amphetamine I immediately felt relief and I am at an age where I am pretty sure what my body needs and I don't want to play around with newer drugs with side effects I am afraid of. i know how the amphetamine adhd meds makes me feel and I am working now and doing fine but in a few days I will be out. I won't meet him (my psychiatrist)for another month.
hopefully u have none left and no access to anymore..cut ur ties...phentermine would be similar to cocaine wd...it is an amphetamine and affects the brain in a very similar way...not supposedly physically addicting but the fatigue and depression that follows is often compared to narcotic wd...there is an article in my journal on drugs/supps to help wd from stimulants...tyrosine is very good for this type of wd..good luck and wanna had a good point..what gives this time around?
the sub dr u r seeing should help u taper off the sub....vyvanse is essentially an amphetamine but not intended to be as addicting as other amphetamines and developed in a way to make it less likely to be abused...this drug is mentally addicting..but sposedly not as bad as ritilin or adderall..Vyvanse is often used for depression as well as ADD
Klonopin needs to be tapered..often people on a mixture like this would stop the narcotic/sub first...then the benzo/klonopin...
I have MS and take amphetamine (Adderall) every day just to get out of bed. I too tested positive on my urinalysis at work; however, once it was proven that I am prescribed that medication, the results sent back to work were negative.
Adderall is a mixture of Amphetamine salts, people that are accustom to taking this medication can sometimes fall asleep just as the medication reach's it's peak. Being that this is not something that you take regularly, it's going to have more of a narcotic effect.
Adderal is an amphetamine, but it shouldn't test as "meth" in a good drug screen.
I happen to have a urine drug screen form right here, you can test "negative". Or positive for cannabinoids, cocaine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, opiates, etc.
The amphetamine and meth are two different "check boxes", and you should have tested positive for amphetamine. If you have a prescription in your name that shouldn't be a problem.

I have two sons with ADHD. The 'upper meds' 'boots' is talking about are the ones the are in the amphetamine class...extremely addictive, if abused. Ritilan, Adderal, Focalin, Daytrana are a few more in that class. He/she also added that they are an recovering addict, so I assume that they have abused, or are afraid that they will abuse these meds. Boots: I know of one that isn't an 'upper'. It's called 'Concerta'.
Adderall is an amphetamine. And it's addictive much like cocaine is. Maybe someone with personal experience with cocaine could jump in?
Look up 'amphetamine psychosis' and 'dopamine hypothesis of psychosis/schizophrenia' to see how extended use of amphetamine can change a person psychologically. Becoming violent is only the tip of the iceberg of everything it can cause to happen to a person emotionally.
It's not okay to take someone else medications but well, Vyvanse is a stimulant in the category of amphetamines. Not suggested for anxiety but can be helpful for depression.
Wellbutrin could be a bit more suitable for you with less side-effects if dopamine and norepinephrine is a problem in your depression/anxiety. Depression often leads to anxiety so yeah maybe when you took Vyvanse you had euphoric effects similar to those with amphetamine ''speed''.
My pulse is exceptionally weak and my blood pressure is 156/90 after taking one (1) 500mg Naproxen and an amphetamine. I went and got my blood pressure checked, as well as my resting heart rate. The nurse never actually tried to feel my pulse, though. So I came home and I am very worried about how weak my pulse is. Has anybody heard weather or not taking Naproxen with an amphetamine can be harmful because it is not in the drug facts and I cannot find anything about it online either.

I'm a naturally anxious person.. and going on something like Adderall or Ritalin is out of the question... unless maybe if I have to drive somewhere that day. Is there any way to correct the condition, like with antidepresants?
ve been prescribed a generic version of adderall 10mg once a day. From what I read this is amphetamine. My prescription ran out and I used a concerta my concern is if I have a urine test or hair follicle test will the methylphenidate in the concerta show up? Concerta is not my prescribed medicine.
It can be a side effect of Ritalin (methylphenidate), Adderall (dextro/levo-amphetamine) and Lunesta (eszopiclone) and other prescription drugs or of cocaine or amphetamines. (Accordingly, it goes by the slang term "coke bugs".) Formication can also be a withdrawal symptom of weaning oneself off cocaine or amphetamine. It can also accompany alcohol withdrawal in alcoholics, along with delirium tremens.
My 7 yr old son is taking Tenex along with D-Amphetamine. These 2 together have given us much success over the summer, but school starting will be a whole new ball game for us. I haven't tried his treatment with just the D-Amphetamine alone, so I can't really say that the Tenex is playing a major factor in the treatment.

At Walgreens, we currently carry the Barr manufacturer brand of generic Adderall. All the forms of generic Adderall and all strengths from Barr manufacturer do not contain neither Gluten nor Lactose.

It's basically the same as a Red Bull and all energy drinks. NOT a relevant solution or replacement for Adderall. Generic IR Adderall isn't expensive at all and is called mixed amphetamine salts or amphetamine, dextroamphetamine mixed salts. Something like less than a dollar per pill.
Amphetamine is speed. It is a controlled prescription substance, but is also found on the street and is illegal in that form. Street names are meth, crank, crystal. If this was also found in your urine along with the clonazepam, and you did not take either, then it would be good to see if you can retake the urine test.
