Avatar m tn t believe they can further test your urine or blood to find the reason for the meth in your system and its exact nature, its meth no matter how it got there, legally or otherwise. So see your doctor, get a letter or have him try a different medication. Good luck, stay out of trouble.
Avatar m tn My prescription ran out and I used a concerta my concern is if I have a urine test or hair follicle test will the methylphenidate in the concerta show up? Concerta is not my prescribed medicine.
Avatar m tn It is a controlled prescription substance, but is also found on the street and is illegal in that form. Street names are meth, crank, crystal. If this was also found in your urine along with the clonazepam, and you did not take either, then it would be good to see if you can retake the urine test.
Avatar f tn Liver damage, kidney damage, diabeties, nasal sprays, diet pills, barbituates(florecet etc) can all give false positives for amphetamines not to mention the accuracy rate for drug testing in cheap testing is about 50% if not done in a good lab. Many labs that get false positives send the urine out to a specialist lab to re-test the urine and many times it is reversed.
Avatar f tn I know amphetamine is the metabolite of methamphetamine, when you ingest meth, you have both methamphetamine and amphetamine in your urine, hair, or nails. I am about to lose my children over this and I swear I am not a user of methamphetamine. I know meth can be transferred through skin contact, is it possible contact with my husband after he uses such as laying with him, touching his clothes, kissing him, etc can make me fail the sensitive drug tests??
Avatar m tn Does strattera give any false positive reading for a urine or hair follicle test? Would it come up as a amphetamine or methamphetamine, or any other illegal substance?
Avatar m tn If you have ADHD and a prescription - no worries even if it does show up. If you don't ....then this search showed that, "Vyvanse is detectable in urine up to 3 days after ingesting Vyvanse. Vyvanse is detectable in hair samples for months after ingestion. Avatar m tn As many of you know, I'm currently on SOC treatment, due to finish in July. I am applying for employment with some larger companies that may require a drug test. Will the interferon and Ribavirin show up in these tests? I dont use any other drugs. Thanks.

But the thing that bothers me most is that after I urinate, sometimes I don't feel satisfied, and shortly after I have a weird feeling in my bladder or penis, somewhere down there (it's hard to pinpoint), almost like the need to pee which IC patients complain of, only not lasting very long.
Avatar f tn I have been going to PM for 6 years now.. In April they called to do a random urine drug test the nurse could tell I was very sick so she told me they will get with me another time (I was seen by my PCP also and I had strep) so when I went to my PM in May they ripped me up and down about missing and that I would be scheduled every month I come in to get my RX I will have to take a UA drug test which was fine I have nothing to hide..
1861446 tn?1320445285 I am personally a great fan of amino acids and vitamins. Amphetamine in particular takes a lot out of your body. Good info on the amino acid protocols in the MedHelp archives - or simply put amino acid protocols in the search engine and have some good reading. Keep p[osting for support....
Avatar n tn I have two sons with ADHD. The 'upper meds' 'boots' is talking about are the ones the are in the amphetamine class...extremely addictive, if abused. Ritilan, Adderal, Focalin, Daytrana are a few more in that class. He/she also added that they are an recovering addict, so I assume that they have abused, or are afraid that they will abuse these meds. Boots: I know of one that isn't an 'upper'. It's called 'Concerta'.
Avatar f tn s not okay to take someone else medications but well, Vyvanse is a stimulant in the category of amphetamines. Not suggested for anxiety but can be helpful for depression. Wellbutrin could be a bit more suitable for you with less side-effects if dopamine and norepinephrine is a problem in your depression/anxiety. Depression often leads to anxiety so yeah maybe when you took Vyvanse you had euphoric effects similar to those with amphetamine ''speed''.
Avatar m tn I am healthy and very aware of changes in my body. I have not taken the Naproxen today, nor have I taken amphetamine today, because this is frightening for me. I am going to have to see a new physician, because my current physician is an obvious pill pusher and doesn't take his job seriously. He is obviously also lazy when it comes to anything that involves challenge.
Avatar n tn One day I started to feel like I was drunk but in a way I didnĀ“t enjoy, the pulse was very high and pounding, an extreme restlessness and fever among other things. Avatar n tn I missed the vein slamming crank in my elbow now my it hurts and wont bend. How can I help heal it?
Avatar f tn Are there any anti depressants or non stimulant/amphetamine meds that will help with the sleep attacks & day time drowsiness associated with narcolepsy? I'm a naturally anxious person.. and going on something like Adderall or Ritalin is out of the question... unless maybe if I have to drive somewhere that day. Is there any way to correct the condition, like with antidepresants?
