That's what Florastor does, but if it has side effects, then it's a problem. I hope this makes sense. If not, let me know and I'll try again. And DO talk to your doc. Here is a link to a scientific article (I think it's free to access, not sure) on this topic: www [dot] sciencedirect [dot] com / science /article / pii / S0002934398001338 and if you search "boulardii invasive" (without quotes) you will find more.
As you know I am suffering this for almost 2 years now. This appeared out of the blue in June 2012 (I say out of the blue because I don't take drugs, don't smoke, don't have diabetes, didn't have chemotherapy, and didn't take medicines for long periods of time -besides 1 week of cyprofloxacin in March 2012).
Sometimes the risk of not taking the medicine is worse than possible slim side effects. Uti's can cause serious issues if left untreated during pregnancy including miscarriages. It can get into your kidneys and cause all sorts of issues.
I can't remember the name of the site because I just randomly serch for it every now and then but if you type in a drug and put 'side effects' or 'in pregnancy' it brings up some directry listing all the leaflets that you get in the boxes. Then it has details of studies done if at all on pregnant women. Just think of all those people who don't stop doing things during pregnancy and their babies are fine.
Amoxicillin is the right thing for a pregnant woman with Lyme. You cannot take Doxycycline when pregnant. I have heard many good stories of kids who got Lyme in utero who are doing great with antibiotics. Treatment makes all the difference. Planning to do the cord blood test is very wise. But if the baby tests negative, there is still a chance of infection. If s/he tests positive, then s/he will need amoxicillin. I have no idea for how long...are you aware of Dr. Jones in Connecticut?
I had feliculitis shortly after the encounter and was given medicine for it to take for 10 days, which during and shortly after that time I had muscle aches and some diarreha(The muscle aches went on and off and lasted until about 3 weeks ago, diahrreha went away as soon as a realized they were a side effect- from nerves). The medicine(cephalaxin) said that this could be a side effect.
Some doctors wave it off but after going through infant shots with two babies I've noticed they have a lot less side effects if they're not ill when they get their shots, no matter what the docs say. Usually what they tell us is that if her fever does not respond to the tylenol she needs to come in. as long as you're giving her the tylenol every 4 hours and it's coming down to 99-101.5 with the tylenol I wouldn't worry. just put her in a onesie and some socks and give her some extra TLC....
I have a few side effects from interferon but just for a 24 hr period and then i have been fine all week. but does the ribavin have to build up in your body first o somthing?
So you have been amoxicillin for a month now, and am I correct in assume you are in your first month of pregnancy now? Actually. that's good...it is early in pregnancy. I just recall that Dr. Jones felt it is ideal for pregnant mother to be on two antibiotics, a cell wall inhibitor and marcolide.
I have tried for the past two days Slippery elm, 1/4 teaspoon as I have read that it is safe for cats with no side effects and for cats with kidney disorders as long as their potassium levels are not low and their calcium levels are not high as hers are not.. Thank you.
CoQ10 in some people may produce the side effects of dizziness, irritability, headache, fatigue, heartburn, and visual sensitivity to light. Could be confusing for folks who already have these as symptoms of their disease. Is it the supplement or the disease????????????????????? 5. "Will treatment take care of these "metals"? maybe,,, " What metals are we talking about?
My husband's chest pain keeps moving around too (has had since 11/15). He took amoxicillin for 2 1/2 days and was no better, so I pushed him back to the dr. He was given something else...can't remember what, not Zithromax, has finished those pills and it's not gone--has just moved into the right side of his chest, as well. So you are fortunate that yours went away so quickly and you were able to go on with treatment.
It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out. The last one about 2 years ago stopped me breathing in and out completely for 10 to 15 seconds and I thought I had bought it. The spasm cough causes it all and when it goes away (usually 4 to 5 days) things are relatively normal although a normal cough stays with me for weeks after.
We might just make it, Thank God for my prayers, I gave amoxicillin and pectin last night on my own, and today, we are eating very good, shes stimulated enough to walk, we even walked outside to pee...Oh, my gosh, I have held her, caress, love, keep her calm, talk, its crazy, for days I tried to keep her alive w/me...and I am so proud today, not sure about any damage or relapse could happen... She will never get another rabie or vaccination period, ever, ever in her lifetime.
Did anyone use it ? Is there side effects on your cat ? RENAL KS® is specifically formulated for renal disease and contains the highest quality of Co-Enzyme Q10, which acts as an important antioxidant and removes harmful substances from the body. wannababy - I say definitely go for the Clomid!!! I took as high a dose as 100mg and had no side effects. I had more when I took the max dosage of Femara and that was just a little hot flashes. It could indeed mean the differance in getting a BFP!! I called to get my Rx for progesterone this morning and I was told the manufacturer isn't making it right now so they had to switch me to something else (can't remember the name). Good thing about that is I'll have to take it once a day.
Both could make you dizzy and feel awful. I understand about the antibiotics. One of the side effects can be anxiety. Every time I've had to take them I have severe anxiety so I am prepared for that to happen. I hope you feel better soon.
While it is very effective, it is also processed in the kidneys and can cause some wild side effects like extreme nervousness and severe shaking. Benadryl can take care of the side effects if this happens. In my experience, once the kidneys reach the point of being unable to process oral reglan, the injectable version got around that problem. I'm just glad my husband was able to do the injections at home.
For now, I take half a hydrocodone for the discomfort every 6 hours, amoxicillin to fight infection, and use a nasal saline wash 5 times a day. I'd say the most annoying part is sleeping with my mouth open. I have a checkup with the doctor one week post surgery. I hope this is helpful!
Sometimes even the LLMDs have trouble differentiating between side effects and die-off. Amoxicillin, the 2nd choice drug for early Lyme is less effective than Doxy, but killing the bugs a bit slower might be a good thing.) I'm not a doctor and I'm not diagnosing you. I'm just sharing from my own experience. Please don't stop any meds without calling your doctor first. Have you found an LLMD yet?
The medicine didnot do anything to treat my symptoms, but it did give me some bad side-effects. So neuro took me off the med. and reffered me to a rheumatologist because he thought I may have an auto-immune disease. The rheumatologist saw me twice and did a WHOLE bunch of more blood tests. They ALL came back normal. Everyone was puzzled. Thankfully, none of the doctors blamed my mind (thought I was crazy) and kept searching for possible explanations.
I suffered from a bout of diverticulitis 2 weeks ago and was put on 2 antibiotics. I thought it was a side effect of the meds, but I have been off them for a week and still the crazy orange tongue remains. I had some blood work done last week for a routine physical and the only weird reading was a high level of creatin - which may be an indication of decreased kidney function according to the doc.
She was a Heroine baby and has had to fight for survival almost all of her life. Thanks for all of your help. Feel free to use this for other post as well. All of you are in my prayers daily and will always be.
I'm a 45 yr female and I feel so bad for you all. But glad I stumbled onto this Forum. I've only been suffering from this "EK" contidion on palms of hands for just over 3 yrs. But you mention everything that I have done to make this condition bearable to include prayer. However I have only thought about showering with gloves on and I think I will go ahead and do that regimine too because every type of cleaner causes pain and you gotta shower and wash your hair!
10 caps of Chlorox and soak for 20 minutes. No stinging or side effects. Can't hurt to try it, as bleach is good for killing bacteria, yeast/mold/fungi, and even some bugs.
They also put me back on propranolol (a beta blocker used to keep your blood pressure low) to try to prevent any migraine attacks. Since I had been on the propranolol in the past, I know what side effects it caused for me, which were minimal. However, the warfarin is making me very tired, or possibly it’s my body healing. I was told I would be able to switch to aspirin next week, so I’ll keep you all informed as to how I feel after the switch. I’m also feeling depressed and somewhat angry.
i've had the mirena for about 3 months now. aside from bad acne, no other side effects have occured until very recently. lately i've been extremely fatigued and quite moody. also, i vomitted about 5 times two nights ago, but i believe that was from food poisoning. my boyfriend noticed that my breasts have grown considerably in the last few days, of course he isn't complaining.. but a couple hours ago i noticed discharge, like colostrum, leaking from my nipples.
Every article on the internet has to do with Strep B in prenatal women (when it is very dangerous for the baby) and nothing about Strep B for regular women in their 40's like me :) Thanks, I'd love to hear from anyone who has ever been treated for this disease or any doctors out there.
