Have u had ur thyroid checked?..... Side effects of that med seem to match what u felt : How about side effects? Adverse reactions can occur with any drug, even over-the-counter medications. Some of these are mild such as a stomach upset, which may be avoided by taking the medication with food. Minor reactions may go away on their own but if they persist, contact the physician. For major reactions, the patient should contact the physician immediately.
I was put on an antispasmodic (sp?) which I took only on long trips because of the horrible side effects. I did not have any symptoms post graduation (probably stress related). About 7 months ago I started getting chronic diarrhea and horrible cramps. I wrote it off as IBS and did not go to the doctor until about a month passed and I started getting a fever. They took a stool sample, a urine sample, and a blood sample.
for constipation I do urge you add a little canned pure pumpkin to the diet rather than miralax, its natural and causes no side effects. I want to welcome you to our cat forum, I hope you will stay with us and keep us updated on all results. Perhaps try our 'ask a Vet' forum for a $10.00 fee you should get much better answers than what I can give you.
hypocalcemia, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea, vomiting. *Less common [1/100;1/1000]: Hyperparathyroidism, eructation, stomatitis, esophagitis, gastro-intestinal NOS, edema, loose stools, dental disease, dizziness, fatigue, etc... Data from Fosrenol (Lanthanum carbonate): "these side-effects decrease in time and if medicine is taken during meals." Study on 1745 human patients that used it over a year. It may work, so good luck !!!
I am also a college student in my final semester of college with a ton of stress as well that has been building for quite awhile. (Maybe causing the constipation?) Could all the sinus pressure and stomach problems really be anxiety related, or do I maybe have something else. I have a friend of mine who lived most his life down there and has no idea what is wrong with me either. Please help me as I am very scared and confused.
Gastros don't prescribe long term steroids now because of the serious long term side effects. In growing children, steroids do inhibit growth. Various genes have now been found to cause the disease, but what triggers them to malfunction, no-one yet knows, although research is continuing across the globe. There is no Crohn's in my family, but a lot of cancer....father dying at 59 yrs of colon cancer, twin brother of brain cancer at 50 and all of my father's 7 siblings of some kind of cancer.
Caught lyme in first trimester and only got diagnosed a month ago and have been on amoxicillin now since diagnosed and will be until the birth of baby. I am aware that I fall into all 'unfavourable ' outcomes in regards to pregnancy outcome but I feel I need some kind of hope to hold on to ! I know what the odds are and the case studies etc.. And I have prepared myself for a congenital lyme baby but am I completely doomed?
Steroid nasal sprays can also be prescribed, but the medical community is unsure of the possible side-effects of long-term use of steroid nasal sprays. Antihistamines and decongestants may help relieve some of the symptoms, but just a little bit. These drugs can also make your problem worse, by making the mucus even thicker in your head. If the antibiotics and other treatments aren’t effective, then surgery is sometimes recommended.
It's not deadly, but not fun, either, and the meds come with some pretty bad side effects. I think you'll be okay if you lay off the cocaine. Seriously, you don't want to mess with your heart. A lot of people aren't lucky enough to develop just a minor arrhythmia from cocaine; a lot of people actually die. Good luck to you. (Oh, yeah, my sister quit using once she developed the arrhythmia but she continues to suffer from it, five years after the fact.
It is a sleep aid medicine that has had some users complaining of this side effect. Go to www.medicalnewstoday.com/youropinions and read some of the posted comments. I too am suffering with this annoying condition. I scrape, brush and gargle with Biotene. This regimen helps for about 3 to 4 hours but it always returns. I took Lunesta for a couple of times but not 2 nights in a row. Thats the only common thread I can see. Hope this helps.
I have been experience a minor pain on my left side under my rib cage. It has been coming and going for the past two months. I have been diagnosed with depression which causes me to worry exstensively. I have had other stomach problems in the past, but the docters couldn't find anything wrong. I also have a history of alcohol abuse (I know, not the smartest thing for a depressed person). I hate to keep going to the doctor everytime there is an ache or pain, I feel like I may over reacting.
She has suffered the opposite after her surgeries, constipation. I would take that in a heartbeat. Her and I spend a lot of time together and wish we could combine our troubles. That way we pretty much would have a normal bathroom life. I laughed when I read the phases you went through because I am in the second phase. It started about a week ago and thank goodness the temperature is almost high enough to be able to open the windows again.
Hi. Has anyone thought to try a chioropractor. I had similar symptoms and had by back crunched. After several treatments, my stomach problems cleared up.
-HOWEVER, there is another category that is unheard of and is only investigated via the internet. first off, the side effects are as follows(even immediately after showering, deoderant or no deoderant, antiperspirant or no antiperspirant): 1)all people near me will experience some type of allergic reaction. (sneezing, sniffling, coughing, snorting, hacking loogies, eyes watering, eyes itchy, earaches, etc...) the rate is about 9 out of 10 people.
does any one suffer from any side effects such as sweating on the side of the face and above the eye also eye twitches!
I just finished the antibiotics and I still feel the same as I did when I first went to him in July. He had me on amoxicillin plus Astelin. I have tried Nasacort, Zyrtec, Claritin, Alavert, etc.... no relief. I am a computer programmer and I can't function like this anymore. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.
prednisone if your pet has life threatening condition !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even only a short course can cause horrid side effects many of them serious, just as it does in people, these can be far worse than the complaint the pet has. Steroids are an extremely serious drug to be treating anything minor with. If you love your pet please just do a little research for alternatives but remember just because something is natural doesn't necessarily mean it's safe.
the diet is very tough indeed, it revolves around excluding all sugar your diet. But i have resolved to try to and see its effects after two months, since everything else has failed and i don't want to still be suffering from this condition in ten years time .. I am two weeks into the diet and regardless of whether it's the right course of action or not, i can say that already my outlook on food has changed for the better .. so that's a plus ..

I've been reading these posts for about a week now, and finally decided that I should post since my side effects are still happening. I had the h1n1 on 11/14 and the regular flu shot the week prior. My tingling started on 11/27. At first, I thought I had the flu or some kind of virus, because I had cold chills and a little nausea w/ it. But then i had the same thing happen about 5 days later. It would come and go w/ a few good days in between. Now I am tingling everyday.
Me too I have internal shaking all over my body. It all started 7 months ago. I had one or 2 night internal shaking per week at first and I thought, I was dreaming about this shaking. And then, I had more frequent shaking during the night and I couldn't sleep. It keep going worst as now it is each night and it does it now during the day. Sort of speak it is 24/7 a day... with few moments being free of this internal shaking, vibration sensation. I am so tired of it.
I had every one of these symptoms for almost two years.
I am not a qualified professional, just a mere spectator that has done extensive research on bacteria and its effects on the body. I've experienced relief from natural remedies because it IS possible. Before wasting your money on a doctor, educate yourself about your body so you can learn the most effective and effiecient way to cure it. You are your own best doctor!
I also had all the tests for IC and they were all negative. During a ultrasound on my bladder, they found two (one on each side) 5 cm ovarian cysts. During the surgery to remove these, they found stage 4 advanced endometriosis with severe adhesions. The uterus had prolapsed and become attached to the intestines by scar tissue/adhesions. The cystoscopy done during surgery showed a slightly rough surface in the bladder but nothing remarkable. I had no idea about the endo or the cysts.
