Two months ago on my way back from a camping trip I started getting pain in my left eye when I'd look to the left or right. The following Monday I saw an eye doctor that treated me for pink eye, with Neomycian, that it turned out I was alergic to. In about two weeks the pain/swelling/headaches went away on their own. I felt and looked fully recovered as my eyes would not be swollen in the mornings and my vision was excelent once again.

A week ago I had a severe pain on that tooth and I started taking Amoxicillin 500mg as my dentist prescribed in case of infection when he opened it to clean the roots.The next day the part next to my nose got swollen but the pain has gone.After 5 days on Amoxicillin the swell is not visible but I can feel it when I open my mouth. The thing that get me worried is that slight pressure feeling on my cheek and the upper eyelid.
The doctor told me it was most likely an abscess and wrote me a prescription for 250 mg of Amoxicillin (3x a day) and told me to get to a dentist the next day because she assumed they were going to want to lance/drain the infection.
I was able to see a dentist today and after an x-ray he determined extraction would be the best option for me since the decay extends under the bone.
About a month ago I cracked a tooth. A week or so after the crack is swelled up pretty bad. I went to urgent care and the doctor games me 500mg of penicillin 4 times a day. The penicillin knocked out the swelling in a couple days and everything pretty much went back to normal. Last night the area swelled up again and even my law line started swelling. I could feel a large bump in my gum line which I'm guessing was the infection.
Which I am sceptical because when I took Amoxicillin it was 1 a day pill for a week and as soon as i took it the bacteria was going away. Now I've taken Clindamycin like 5 times, because it's 1 pill ever 6 hours. There is 28 pills in total. But I don't see the bacteria fading, like the Amoxicillin.
Hi, I've been having chronic pain behind my left eye now for over a year, it's not constant but at certain times it flares up and causes me agony, it also hurts a lot first thing after I wake up.
My left nostril is also blocked maybe 60% of the time while my right one is fine. My neck on the left side also sometimes flares up but doesn't hurt too much. Besides those I feel fine, no cold feeling or anything.
chances are the infection never really went away, if it was gonorreah or syphilis it probably relapsed...
ve had a sore throat since the 19 of dec, and i went to my doctor a week ago and she had diagnosed me with a throat infection, she prescribed me to 500mg Amoxicillin 3x per day and my course finished this Monday, and i'm still getting really bad throat pains and am recently getting very sharp upper chest pain when i breath in, any help?

So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?
You can check with a pharmacist about the amoxicillin. Secondly, you can ask your physician for samples if possible or ask if she or he can enroll you in a free medication program so that you are able to get the medication to take.

With reference to self medicating, I was taking amoxicillin for a sinus infection. I had a low risk exposure (protected sex) with a massage therapist the week prior to getting the sinus infection. I experienced the irritation on my penis with some mild low back pain about 2 days prior to the infection (about 7 days after the massage girl).
The back pain went away a day after taking the Amoxicillin (which would have been 3 grams). The irritation still exist, but less so.

Should I see an ENT doctor and insist they prescribe amoxicillin until the infection is gone? Without an ear drum wouldn't I be highly susceptible to another chronic ear infection?
I have had a sinus infection for 9 months and on my third antibiotic treatment as well as a root canal. I am 6 days into my 875 mg amoxicillin treatment and am extremely tired and have serious pain in my knees and ankles. Unless the kitten gets antibiotics within a day of when the infection started to get severe, there's a good chance it will end up with full or partial blindness (assuming it lives).
Your options are take it to a vet, or try to find some amoxicillin to give to kitty. If this is a human pill, we're talking about a pin drop amount of medication here.
Ive had recurring pain behind my left eye for over a month now. Its there every day. Its like a throbbing kind of pain in the back of my eye and sometimes causes a headache, sometimes its bad and sometimes minor, but nonetheless it hasnt gone away at all and its been going on for about a month now. I was told by a doctor I might have a chest infection so she put me on 500mg of amoxicillin three times a day. I'm also on diazepam for muscle spasms and anxiety. I cannot remember is she said it was ok go take them both together.
If ok to take together this will put my mind at rest and stop me panicing.
