Hello, last week I was diagnosed with HPV, the symptomas are two small lesions in my prepuce and a lot of burning and painful while urination, and at the same time a strong crisis of tonsillitis appeared. I started taking amoxicillin and in 3 days the tonsillitis disappeared, the lesions are now two small red points but my urethra is still swollen.
They do a rapid strep test and it comes back negative. Doctor says it could be tonsillitis. The night before i saw him i was running a 104 in the middle of the night. Took Advil and it went down. When i was at the doctor it was 99. Now today (saw the doctor yesterday) I’m feeling a little bit better, but my throat still shows signs of tonsillitis and really hurts. I think i finally broke my fever last night because i woke up at 3am somewhat drenched.

I had a throat pain (but not tonsillitis), with very bad taste of mucus. I took a clarithromycinfor (500) for 4-5 days (one tablet per day) at the 3rd day. At different time during the day, I took also Amoxicillin 500 ( 2-3 per day). after 5 days, I stopped taking medicine and my throat pain started to relieve but the problem is: Numbness or Tingling Sensation in my Tongue with feeling of drynessof my mouth.
I just got done with a prescription for 875 mg of amoxicillin twice a day for 10 days. Will that cure chlamydia and gonorrhea??
I am having tonsillitis since 3 weeks. Doctor without testing said gave antibiotics. She prescribed me ospamox 500 for one week. It didn improve much. But the doctor said the medicine was useful and stopped the medicine. Later after week seeing no improvement she increased the dosage to ospamox 1000 mg twice a day. There is atill no improvement. I dont have fever or cold. Just throat pains every morning.

The antibiotics didn't work until day 7 out of 10, and a few days after i finished the antibitocs it came back. A different doctor prescribed me cefaclor which worked after using it for 1 day. When I finished the prescription, a day after i had a sore throat.
I started takimg amoxicillin 3 days ago for tonsillitis and the next day after i started i began having runny eggwhite like orange discharge :/ i read the antibiotic can change discharge but i was wondering if the problem im having sounds like its from that or if it may be some sort of bacterial infection? Also TMI but my inner lips are irritated and that only happens when i go pee so maybe i have a scratch or somethimg.
So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?

Amoxicillin in the preferred antibiotic in dental infections. The usual adult dosage is 500 mg given every 6-8 hrly.The dosage may be increased or decreased depending on the severity of infection. If you are having a dental infection or cavity it is best to get it treated by a root canal before the problem aggravates. See a dentist.

I had to have a root canal redone as my previous dentist did not get the whole nerve and it became infected. The Dentist put me on amoxicillin 875mg twice a day, after 6 days I called him as it was having no effect. he then put me on clyndamycin 300mg twice a day, this is day two, it seemed better this morning and by this afternoon it isswelling slightly the tissue above my tooth is spongie again and I can tell it's filling with pus.
I got ysterday a one-month antibiotic for chronic tonsillitis. It was very difficult to get the diagnosis for the long-lasting ear pain. Ysterday one ENT doctor believed me that I have an infection in my tonsils. He pressed the left tonsil and pus was discharged. This possibly also revealed the cause for my long-lasting erythrocyte microcytosis.
Because my thyroid medication has been decreased, my esophageal sphincters may have bocome too loose.
On Monday around noon, I got a horrible fever and went to urgent care where they did a rapid strep test and mono test - both came out negative and they gave me a prescription for Amoxicillin. Monday night I had a sore throat and 2 white dots on my tonsils. My fever stayed around 100-102 for 24 hours straight and my tonsils became completely white and covered in pus.
Today I took my 15 month old son to one of his regular checkups. His doctor had noticed some fluid in his left ear and said he had a small infection. I told her he had a cold and some congestion but I didn't know about his ear. She prescribed him Amoxicillin for his ear and told me something about the dosage. All I remember her saying is something about 1 tsp.
Amoxicillin is fine if it's the correct antibiotic. Dental infections can be from either an aerobic bacteria or anaerobic bacteria. Having the correct antibiotic is VERY important.
I urge you to at least call your dentist for approval before you treat a dental abscess yourself.
Amoxicillin may be fine, but you may need something like clindamycin instead.
Also, it's very important that a FULL dose is taken for dental infections.
my daughter tends to break out at random (she is 2) but the rashes / hives goes away after a couple of hours. We still have no idea what the allergy is.

I went to the dentist 3 days ago she said there is nothing they can do until i finish antibiotic treatment so she prescribed to me 875mg of amoxicillin + 125mg of clavulanate EVERY 8 HOURS. I pretty much been in extreme tooth pain and to add to that every time i take this i get pretty bad stomach pain i describe it as the empty feeling you have when you don't eat anything but x10, so i did some searching and i could not find anywhere saying 875mg every 8 hours i only saw every 12 hours.
On Monday I went doctor since I had some fever and sore throat, he said it was tonsillitis and prescribed me Augmentin 500g (amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium) and paracetamol. Okay now I don't have fever anymore and I don't feel the pain, it's getting better so I've stoped with paracetamol. But since yesterday I've started to have diarrhea. It's painless, I just notice some sounds in my stomach and a sudden need to go wc.
