Is it safe to give adult cat amoxicillin 400 mg /5 ml susp medication with expiration dte of 11/04/2015
I called a vet today and asked it we could just wrap her up numb it and pull it w/out cost of anesthesia I was told no. I mixed tuna juice w/ amoxicillin cap(500mg) and gave her 32mg hoping to help her infection and pain. Have you ever known any vets to use local to pull a tooth? She is a little back of bones prob less than 4lbs she can eat canned food but I can't get any weight on her.

I'm taking amoxicillin and my cheeks are very red, like i'm sunburnt, and very hot. It's only on my cheeks no where else on my face or body. I've been givien this same medicine many times and have never had this reaction, The only other thing I can think about is I was given a corticosteroid shot and nasal spray called Fluticasone. It's not shown as a side effect of the nasal spray, but could it be from one of these other medicines. Should I call my pharmacist or doctor?

I was told by a doctor I might have a chest infection so she put me on 500mg of amoxicillin three times a day. I'm also on diazepam for muscle spasms and anxiety. I cannot remember is she said it was ok go take them both together.

A few years ago (March 2004) I was diagnosed with acute sinusitis after a bout with the flu. I took the round of antibiotics (amoxicillin) I was prescribed and thought it would clear up. It didn't. I am now on year 6 of nearly constant sinus pain, pressure, headaches, dizziness, nausea and post-nasal drip. Occasionally I get so congested I can't breathe, then it will loosen up slightly.
Amoxicillin + metronidazole may be more effective than amoxicillin alone. After extraction , amoxicillin, metronidazole, Tylenol, and Advil are effective post op pharmacological intervention, which yields minimal post op discomfort.
