Hi my name is jennifer I been taking antibiotics for the past 2 weeks, Omeprazole 20 mg, Metronidazole 500 mg and Clarithromycin 500 mg and also I been taking my birth control pills for the past 3 weeks (Jolivette).
I jus found out today I am pregnant. I'm concer with the health of the unborn baby. I am worry if the any possibility of births defects and any other problem related to the medications.
The next week I had a sore throat (unrelated) and went to my doctor and was given a prescription for amoxicillin. I began taking the amoxicillin 10 days after the encounter. 15 days after the encounter while still taking the amoxicillin, I had sex with my wife. We had sex twice that night, the only time since the encounter. The next week my doctor switched me to clarithromycin for my throat.

Tried various antibiotics like cipro ,azthromycin, roxithromycin, clarithromycin, amoxicillin, and lot more. . . But no effect. . .even tried homeopathic medicine but no effect. . . .have anyone faced this situation??
So this is day nine on the prilosec and day seven on the antibiotics (Ammoxicillin and clarithromycin)for the H pylori. My symptoms are still there SOMETIMES after eating. I was disgnosed with h pylori after getting an endoscopy done. I’ve been taking meds for it’s. It’s a lot of medication. It’s clarithromycin 500, amoxicillin 500 mg, Lansaprozal 30 mg twice a day for about 10 days. I noticed a huge difference. People are not reacting to me as much. It hasn’t gone away completely but it’s been reduced to about 50% and I just started taking it 2 days ago.
I have found that biaxin is chemically different than azithromycin but biologically same at killing bacteria as azithromycin. On some post you say that azithromycin or clarithromycin(biaxin) would cure all the bacterial stds then in others you state that there could be some problems.
