Viral infections are by exclusion and do not need any antibiotic therapy unless there are superadded infections. Viral infections are known to cause canker sores. Itchy and swollen doesn't sound like a uti to me. It could be bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection. I'm prone to these conditions and life is hell for me. Some doctors misdiagnose because vaginal problems are so similar. I don't know about the back pain or contractions. That might just be because you are further along?
My doctor diagnose me with UTI and was advised to take antibiotic (amoxicillin) though she advised that this is the safest for pregnant mum, I'm kinda hesitant to take it. Do u mum's experience anything of this? What can you advised me to to get rid of my UTI? Thanks!
