Should I call and ask for a free T3 too? And has anyone experienced weight loss. Down about 10 pounds in 7 weeks. Has my metabolism changed? I feel much better but I usually have to workout forever to lose anything. I do have more energy, can't sleep much, just concerned... I never really understood how the T3 and T4 works. Amoxicillin + metronidazole may be more effective than amoxicillin alone. After extraction , amoxicillin, metronidazole, Tylenol, and Advil are effective post op pharmacological intervention, which yields minimal post op discomfort.
Had upper GI showed no esophageal abnormalities, no evidence for reflux or esophagitis. Due to this increased weight loss and our primary doc doing no testing whatsoever, had a cardiologist I work for look at him, he diagnosed with H pylori and prescribed 2 week triple pack. If I suspect Mono, and took a 3 day course of Amoxicillin (10 pills) and developed no rash, can I pretty much rule out mono?
Some sources state 80-90% of those taking Amoxicillin with Mono develop the rash, while I've even seen 99% as a percentage.
I actually want it to be Mono, instead of something worse, but I'm starting to fear the worst.
Have any of you had Mono, been misdiagnosed with Strep and took Amoxicillin, and NOT get the rash?
Sounds as though the amoxi is doing the trick! Be sure to take a FULL dosage. Dental abscess rarely completely go away without a full dose. They have a tendency to just "simmer".
If it comes back, be sure to get yourself to a dentist.
A simmering infection can spread along the peridontal ligament and affect your other teeth with bone loss. That's the worst part of a resolving abscess.
Today I took my 15 month old son to one of his regular checkups. His doctor had noticed some fluid in his left ear and said he had a small infection. I told her he had a cold and some congestion but I didn't know about his ear. She prescribed him Amoxicillin for his ear and told me something about the dosage. This sounds like it has 100% to do with the Amoxicillin, and not Mono combined with Amoxicillin and so forth.
Amoxicillin can cause joint pain although this is not a common side effect, but can occur and should NOT be permanent, but temporary.
If this hasn't subsided, this definitely needs to be further investigated by your physician.

Well if she had known my friend before she would see that his skin had lost most of its shine and color, his eyes were often red and dry, sometimes a bit yellow, his face looked thin and and aged, he had chronic nasal congestion, post nasal drip, loss of muscle, inability to gain weight, cystic like acne on the jawline, slow healing, allergic rashes on the inside of arms that come and go, bad back acne with a few nodule type lesions on his back that are raised and do not go away.
6 weeks after a std (gonorrhea, after safe anal and unprotected oral) I got a severe and very painful soar throat, fever (101.8), no appetite, night sweats, some weight loss. After 3 days off symptoms I got Amoxicillin from my doctor and my soar throat was almost gone already in day of treatment. I did developed a running nose during the treatment tho, no cough.

if you give too much its highly toxic and can kill him,
if you give too little it will only make the bacteria more aggressive and than untreatable
do your kitty a huge favor and take him to a Vet to be properly diagnosis and tested to see WHICH antibiotic this infection is SUSCEPTIBLE to, otherwise you are doing no good and are into dangerous treatment for kitty.
a Vet visit and a prescription should cost less than $50. you owe your cat that!!!
