I was prescribed Amoxicillin a couple days ago for strep throat and an ear infection and when I opened the bottle to take it I noticed that it smelled bad. I don't know if it's normal or not so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Today, nine days after beginning to feel sick, I visited my doctor and was prescribed Amoxicillin 875mg tabs to be taken twice a day for the next ten days. My doctor believes I have a sinus infection, hence the Amoxicillin prescription. I did not mention my unsafe sexual encounter to my doctor and I am not having any outward symptoms of any kind of STD.
My question is, can you tell me what if any STD the Amoxicillin would cure if I did contract one from my friend?
like 2 weeks later, i was still feeling not good, creamy white discharge which smelled like yeast, burning and itchyness, i scheduled a docs appointment, he took a urine sample, and toled me that my urine came bakk clean, and the only thing he detected in it was sumthing called STREPTOCOCCAL,he perscribed me amoxicillin, i just finished the medicine, and im back at square one!!!

I was taking amoxicillin for tooth problem. On the second day I started having full bladder with difficulty to urinate and clear discharge symptoms. The Dr. told me since I was on antibiotic I could'nt take a urine test. He asked me to finish the 7 day amoxicillin and after gave me 1g zithro and cipro for 14 days. On the 14 day I still have a few symptoms. My question is if it was chlamydia - gonorrhea would this have cured it? Please advise..
Even now i am under this treatment is the 6th day and everything seems to be alright just the urine has like a fish smell and is really yellow specialy in the morning . Now i am thinking if the condom broke...that is really visible i think never happend to me...but what i heard says that. If someone can give me an answer/opinion with whats happening with me i will be gratefull.

I can smell it on his jowls, the top of his head/neck, and comng from his mouth. I have washed him, I have used dog calone sprays, and I can still smell a distinct urine type smell arround his muzzle.
What could this be?
Others that have sniffed him only seem to smell the calones, but I KNOW im smelling something "off" with him.
I was on amoxicillin for a UTI, how long should I be off of the antibiotic before getting another culture? Amoxicillin has a 60 minute half life, very short. Could you go the next day to get a urine culture?
i have a terrible urine which makes my vagine smell i have had urine tests done but they come back normal. my husband says it lingers on him i have also been tesed for vaginisis that was fine too. i have had this on and off for years. It was a urine test. Then I called a doctor and he prescribed me 500mg Amoxicillin 3 times a day for 10 days. I went in again to get tested for all stds a day later but I had already taken 1 pill of amoxicillin. The urine test came back negative again and the blood test is not done testing yet. t remember ever having this urinary problem before; yesterday I also took amoxicillin before I went to the dentist (ASD and mitral valve repair at age 6). I've also had episodes of shortness of breath, but I also do suffer from panic attacks. Finally, I've felt a little dizzy today. Finally, I started my period today as well. I don't know if any of this information is even relevant, but I figured I should just put everything out to see if they are in some way related.
