Be careful on long term amoxicillin. The antibiotics in the penicillin family can cause vaginal yeast infections and diarrhea in women by affecting the normal vaginal and colon bacteria. The better drug would be macrodantin 100mg at night if your cultures are sensitive to it. Long term cipro is also not good because it will cause antibiotic resistent bacteria to eventually grow.

Hopefully they gave her something other than amoxicillin because that anti-biotic takes a while to work and get rid of infections, but it does work. If an infection is not taken care of, with anti-biotics, it can spread, which is why I mentioned the kidneys. Though because she is being treated, it should not be anything to worry about. Make sure she takes all of the anti-biotics and she should be fine. Plus have her drink plenty of water and also cranberry juice.
I had to take antibotics twice also. Very bad upper respiratiory infections. Levaquin and Avelox. It will not effect your chances at SVR and there are always all kinds of warnings about liver precautions on the medication guides but my hep doc said they were fine.

Your girlfriend is right, that she is not at significant risk of strep from either kissing you or by oral sex. But her reasons (and yours) may be the wrong ones. Assuming you and she have been in close contact in the past several weeks, with kissing, having sex, touching, and perhaps sharing eating utensils, kitchens, and toilets, there's a good chance she already is carrying the strep that caused your sore throat.

Today, nine days after beginning to feel sick, I visited my doctor and was prescribed Amoxicillin 875mg tabs to be taken twice a day for the next ten days. I’m 20 years old. I have a urinary tract infection(coliform). A doctor prescribed Amoxicillin 625mg + Tamsulosin medicine for 10 days to me. I have a side effect after taking Tamsulosin (Retrograde ejaculation) or any other ejaculation problem.
Is this normal or should I stop using Tamsulosin?

It's common to get uti within the first trimester. I had one at 8 weeks, I'm not sure what antibiotics they put me on but I'm 31weeks now and my baby boy is perfectly healthy. Dr's won't put you on any medication that will harm your baby unless it would be more harmful for you not to take it. I have epilepsy as well and they took me off of the medication I was on and put me on something safer for the baby.
