It seems to be helping but the pain meds might be doing it too ( Tylenol and Ibuprofin). My nose is clear but I wonder about a sinus infection. Also I wonder about my cat alergies. I went to the hospital since my dentist is not available on weekends and I found out I have a dental abscess. I am in a lot of pain and I have been taking amoxicillin and tyenol. Is amoxicillin safe? I know the doctor wouldn't prescribe it if it wasn't but I still feel paranoid. And how much tyenol can you take in a day, I'm taking regular strength.
I called a vet today and asked it we could just wrap her up numb it and pull it w/out cost of anesthesia I was told no. I mixed tuna juice w/ amoxicillin cap(500mg) and gave her 32mg hoping to help her infection and pain. Have you ever known any vets to use local to pull a tooth? She is a little back of bones prob less than 4lbs she can eat canned food but I can't get any weight on her.

I went to the dentist on the 1st who sent me to an oral surgeon and percribed me 12 Tylenol #3 and amoxicillin. Finished the amoxicillin and saw the oral surgeon on the 8th. I have extractions scheduled for the 23rd but I still have an abscessed tooth. I had to go back to my dentist on the 15th for her to tell me that she wouldn't give me another dose of antibiotics and to take tylenol (which ive practically been living off of the last few weeks) for the pain. Which doesn't help.
one is scheduled for extraction, the second one for root canal...I was prescribed amoxicillin 500mg and Tylenol 3...I tablet ev 6 hours as needed...I came home took my first dose..took a nap and woke up with a swollen lower jaw...right around the area that is giving me problems...pain is getting worse...swelling is about the same...can't sleep...too much pain...I just took the 3rd dose of the pain meds an antibiotics....I read somewhere about taking Benadryl in addition to help sleep...

I have had fever for the last three months - have had a regiment of amoxicillin, blood work and everything is normal. Only when my temp is taking by ear it reveals fever. Tylenol and ibuprofen was helping, however it is no longer helping.
I took her to the doctor again today (1 week later) and they told me that she has erytherma multiforme caused from the amoxicillin. Can anyone tell me if the amoxicillin was the cause to this and how long it will last? Do you think it could be something else?
I have a ear infection caused by viral infection had sore throat N congestion which I now would trade for this awful ear infection which they put me on amoxicillin and claritin and told Me take tylenol for .. pink eye developed 2-3 days after started antibiotics which my doctor found strange I'm hoping it will clear fast BC didn't give me anything in addition for it and also got yeast infection from the antibiotics!!!!
ve been in horrible pain for few days now, from a toothache, and my baby doc prescribed me amoxicillin 250mg every 8 hours, and today I started taking 2 of them like every 7 hours, cuz its not working. I'm gonna call dentist in morning. Do y'all think I'm taking to much?

I have been taking some antibiotics that I had at home Amoxicillin 500mg two twice a day. I have also been taking ibuprofen 500mg every 4 to 6 hours with no relief. Jaw is sore and chin. What else can I do? Trying to get in to see dentist as I type.

Usually if you tell your doctor they send you to the dentist. You can take an antibiotic like amoxicillin if you've got it and Tylenol.
If I suspect Mono, and took a 3 day course of Amoxicillin (10 pills) and developed no rash, can I pretty much rule out mono?
Some sources state 80-90% of those taking Amoxicillin with Mono develop the rash, while I've even seen 99% as a percentage.
I actually want it to be Mono, instead of something worse, but I'm starting to fear the worst.
Have any of you had Mono, been misdiagnosed with Strep and took Amoxicillin, and NOT get the rash?
So about 10 days ago, I had a terrible headache and body ache all day. Took tylenol twice, and felt well enough to go to work and even socialize that night. The next morning when I woke up, I felt like I got hit by a truck. Terrible headache, body ache, and just total fatigue and nausea, fever of 100.8. Went to Little Clinic, the APRN noticed white spots on my throat, said it was likely Strep (although I had no sore throat) but that it was too soon to test, started me on Amoxicillin anyways.
Today, nine days after beginning to feel sick, I visited my doctor and was prescribed Amoxicillin 875mg tabs to be taken twice a day for the next ten days. My doctor believes I have a sinus infection, hence the Amoxicillin prescription. I did not mention my unsafe sexual encounter to my doctor and I am not having any outward symptoms of any kind of STD.
My question is, can you tell me what if any STD the Amoxicillin would cure if I did contract one from my friend?
There is no connection between amoxicillin and Hepatitis C. Sorry you relapsed. What treatment were you on?
