For a while now, I've been having sinus pain accompained with feelings of dizziness, painful headaches, & ear pain (especially in the mornings). I had my ears cleaned at the Health Center at my college & was told I had a sinus infection and took a round of Amoxicillin. A few weeks before I went to the doctor, I got ringworm on my upper thigh/bikini area from my new kitten who had, and still has, ringworm & likes to sleep under the covers by my stomach/upper leg area.
I was recently diagnosed with Lyme (about three months ago) and was placed on doxy for 21 days. I havent seen a tick since I was a kid (about 20 yrs ago), and never had the classic rash associated with the lyme. However, I have had occasional circular spots on my skin since I was a kid and the doctor always treated them as ringworm. When I was a teenager, I broke out in millions of the spots all over my body and after seeing multiple doctors, they finally decieded it was psoriasis.
In the United States, almost every strain of aurous is now resistant to the antibiotics oxacillin, penicillin and amoxicillin, and strains of the disease have begun developing resistance to newer drugs like methicillin and vancomycin. The threat of prolonged illness or death from this infection has increased as it has become more resistant and fewer drugs are able to effectively control or eliminate it.
The last time I got a fever / diarrhea, it was accompanied by a sore throat and a slight feeling of heartburn. And is it a coincidence that I got ringworm now? Ive never experienced ringworm my whole life! Am I being a hypochondriac? Should I re-do my tests? Each time I talk to a Doctor, they tell me they think that it is not an STD. Advise needed. Thanks! Ive been pretty stressed every day for the last 3 months.
Hi, My husband has been getting these red spots on his neck, back and chest for a long time (over 1 year). At first they used to only appear on the neck, but have lately been spreading to chest and back. he says they are not itchy or painful. In fact he wouldn't even notice them unless he looks in the mirror. They will usually appear every week or every other week, stay for a few days and then disappear on their own.
I have a similar situation with my 3 year old daughter that also started about a month ago, it started with a very bad diaper rash, then she got 3 ringworms and then allergic reaction that started on her face and spread to her body, diaper rash wouldn't go away for two weeks and it was really red and bleeding sometimes and she was screaming so much, the most interesting thing my daughter is potty trained and doesn't wear a diaper, only at night so she's never wet or dirty, I read somewhere if d
I really don't see why it takes so long for the results. My daughter got ringworm and they knew it right away and gave us a cream to put on it. Can't you just put this cream on, anyway, just in case that's what it is? I wouldn't think it would hurt and it could have it cleared up before you even get the results back in. Just a thought. Try not to worry. He'll be ok. Look how Misha turned out. She's a fat, happy cat now!
i will attempt to find a walk in clinic tonight after i finish moving and work. i put some tinactin on the patch of ringworm the other night have yet to apply any more but didnt notice a change in it.. i understand i need to apply it regularly.
Thought it may be transferred from rubbing against thigh but last night noticed patches on neck, shoulder and back - primarily red but a bit duskier in the middle This morning have 6-8 spots on back and 2-3 on each leg Thought may be ringworm and have been treating the upper thigh for passed 3 days - doesn't seem to have stopped it from growing and they seem to grow too large too fast no fever or other symptoms other than fatigue any thoughts - I can't make it to a dr until Thursday and a
I'm in a committed relationship, so out of guilt and fear I started searching the net for HIV SYMPTOMS and found a RASH to be one of the main ARS symptoms. That was it...the fear and anxiety set in. I started freaking out. There were no other symptoms at this time. After another four days or so I thought I might get sore throat 'cause it happens to me once or twice a year. To avoid getting a sore throat I started taking Amoxicillin 500mg, 3 times a day.

yellow/greenish puss, she'll need to see the Vet for oral antibiotics.....Amoxicillin would probably be the choice and it is not expensive....... Now the bad part: You MUST get her on a good quality diet....NO, I'm not kidding! The food you have fed her for 4 years is a joke! Not your fault, understand....There is absolutely NO nutrition in Hill's JD! Yes, I looked it up...It is sold for Joint Disease because it has a few joint supplements in it...
He'd rather do that than prescribe antibiotics but I'm desperate for relief of my hives condition and asked for an rx. He prescribed 1500 mg of amoxicillin (1 tab 3 times per day) and 750mg of metronidazole (1 tab 3 times per day) and I've been taking that since Thursday January 17th. He also recommended removing a crowded wisdom tooth, a tooth that might have associated infection or even an abscess.

Hopefully it's not anything else because my old college roommate had scabies and ringworm but that was 5 years ago. I am going to the doctor in a few weeks and will let you all know what I find out, if anything. Most doctors these days don't know what the heck they are doing.
My cough came back and I went back to the Doctor and was prescribed Mary's Mouthwash and Amoxicillin. $300 later (no benefits) I still have a terible cough, phlegm and a bright Orange Tongue just in time for halloween!!! Tomorrow I am headed to the Veterans Affairs clinic and am gonna try and figure this all out for $6 instead of $300 well see what happens.
The bumps originated on my left ring finger and it has now spread to my left middle, ring, and pinky finger, and also my right ring and middle fingers. My husband is constantly yelling at me for scratching but my hands just itch like crazy...not to mention the fact that I can't wear my rings due to all of the swelling. If the current medication I was prescribed doesn't help, my next step is a dermatologist. If you happen to get an answer first, please pass some info on to me.
I have absolutely no idea how long I have had it, but it seems to be effecting my brain. LLMD's do not take medicaid and I cannot afford them! I went to a random doctor for the first time in decades, and told him my suspicions. He then ordered an ELISA because there was apparently no other options. It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything so I suppose it was negative. I can't stand doctors! Why? Because everything always comes back normal!
here i go....so for the last 6 months i have had itchy eyelids...my eye doctor told me it was due to mild allergies and prescribed eye drops which didnt help in the least so i turned to over the counter allergy medicine which hasn't helped either (so i dont think it's allergies) and in the last 3 weeks not only are my eyelids itchy but when i wake up in the morning my upper eye lids are bright red and swelled up so bad that its embarassing!!!!
You know, the little fruit fly looking things. However, we're not big fruit eaters and don't have any out. They seem to love the trash and the sink (different fly?). Up to 6 months ago I felt like a bug was crawling on me when I sat on my couch and bed (different apartment), our first assumption was bed bugs and we treated the house (using bombs) for these, the crawling feeling slowed but never fully stopped.
