The best birth control that isn't affected by antibiotics and is 100% affective if used properly is the common aspirin. Ladies, just place it between your knees and hold it there. heeheehee This was my Dad's advice about BC when I was 15. No lie.
Doc said if prednisone doesn't work must be infection. Prescribed amoxicillin. Took amoxicillin for the course and started draining like crazy right at end of medication course. Drained and blew my nose every 10 minutes and even more in times of sweat and heat. Just as things seemed to get better, I had a little of my energy back, I now have three days worth of headache between the eyebrows.
It's worth getting a second opinion from a doctor that does listen to you. If amoxicillin and calvepen (phenoxymethylpenicillin) didn't help I have to wonder if your sore throat, sore ear, and sore neck are more from a virus. But 2 weeks is a long time for a virus. I'd get a second opinion if I were you. Dr.
If it doesn't seem to be working you can double the dose for one or two administrations until there're signs of improvement. Don't give your cat aspirin. It's very dangerous and generally should only be administered by an expert. If the cat is running a fever in the 104 range (102 is normal high range) then you can risk it...but it is a risk.

I was back to the doctor and he prescribed a greater dose of amoxicillin and advised me to finish it, which I did this time. Great, no symptoms for the last week. A couple of days ago however, the symptoms started again, and yet again, only at night. I went to bed with the annoying banging and awoke to it, only for it to go away during the day.
I am getting pains, that come and go, right between my scrotum and my rectum. It feels liek someone is stabbing a knife into me. The first two times it happened it was bareable but still hurt like a mother. It happened on time when i sneezed and happened one time when i jumped off a step to the ground. It was only like a 2 foot drop though but that really hurt. This last time it happened i was driving and it was the worst yet.
Hi, the condition strongly suggests angioedema which is due to hypersensitivity reaction (type 1). Drugs like amoxicillin, certain painkillers like aspirin, ibuprofen, certain garments, environmental allergen and certain food (fish, mushroom, peanuts, soy etc) can cause such reaction. In your case, the allergic reactions seems to be secondary to ibuprofen and you should avoid further exposure.
i had sex twice and everything was ok, and after the third time the problems began. my partner and i had hard sex and my penis hurt a bit when she was on top of me. i urinated a few minutes after ejaculating and blood came out along with a very big blood clot at the end. i had sexual intercourse about 7 or 8 times before seeing a doctor. the same occurred except for 2 times, in which no blood appeared.

Furthermore, people with allergies or asthma are more likely to have an anaphylactic reaction to shots. Talk to your doctor about this to ease any worries. Take care and best regards.
The next day, it was still hurting and I sorta got into the Halloween Candy a bit much and then had alot of pain in my upper teeth on that side, so I assumed I angered a cavity and now had an absessed tooth, since the pain was going along the top teeth and even caused my face to swell slightly.. I called a dentist who was kind enough to write me a perscription for Amoxicillin 500 MG (TID).
I waited two days and went to the hospital and the doctor said I had tonsillitis and a small fever! She prescribed amoxicillin for me! I have a hard time taking capsules so I opened it and took it with water. THe next morning I broke out in a hive like rash all over my body. She was limping for a few days and then it stopped and came back. We gave her an aspirin and it made her very sick, so we took her to vet and the the vet did a blood test that came back positive for Lyme. He gave us Amoxacilin and a med to settle her stomach. My problem is this, She is limping much worse today then she was on Monday. She is eating but not as much previous to Lyme. I lost a Saint to Lyme 8 years ago and do not want to lose another. She is such an awesome dog.

After about 7 days of the amoxicillin, I developed tongue pain and a bitter taste in the mouth. I called, and the doctor recommended that I take the Diflucan. One week later, with little change in the symptoms, he recommended that I take another one. Symptoms improved some but returned. I was then prescribed Nystatin Swish and Swallow. Symptoms improved a little but returned. My taste buds on the back of my tongue were now swollen and irritated.

Hi, Thank you for your response and your congratulations. My last period was in Oct. 15 and ended in the 19. and I suppossed to get my period in Nov. the 15; therefore I wait three days in order to take the test. which it showed positive. Another concern is that I also feel a slight movement in the upper side of my stomach. It is most like a pulse. At first I thought that might be because my period was approaching.
A few days prior to the incident, I had taken myself off of the pramipexole that I'd been on for a week, as I was having trouble swallowing (for which the amoxicillin and lanso were prescribed - possible sinus/throat infection or gastric reflux - doc and I wanted to attack on both fronts in order to avoid the return of the laryngospams I'd had during recent respiratory infection). Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help...
If I bent my knee near its maximum extent (such as when kneeling, crouching or climbing into bed), I experienced an incredibly painful tearing/burning sensation in the area of my patellar tendon. I would immediately react and straighten my knee and the pain would completely dissipate within several minutes. Afterward the area would feel about 50% numb, as if injected with a mild local anesthetic that was slowly wearing off, for several hours.
I have been to about 30 doctors- including ENT's allergists, neurologists, chiropracters, opthamologists. psychologists, dentists and everything else u can think of. All CT scans, MRI of brain and blood work keep coming back clean and ok. Nothing I try seems to work. There was a period of time about 3 and a half years ago that the symptoms lifted for about 4 months and then it returned full force.
The first was to remove polyps and a deviated septum, the second was revision surgery to remove scar tissue and to drill windows in for drainage, the third was to remove a frontal sinus infection, and the fourth was to reduce the turbinate on the right side. I have continually recurring bouts of thickened mucous and inflammation that ends up in repeated infections. I also had repeated bronchitis and have now been diagnosed with adult onset asthma.
