Also a couple of days ago due to my ammonia level being high (68) I took a zinc sulfate 220mg prescibed by my specialist to help with the ammonia. In less than a hour I was experiencing the worst pain I ever had. It was in my entire abdominal area and all the way across my lower back. Finally I tried a warm bath and it took the pain away. My specialist even called in some pain pills for me called Dicyclomine 20mg. which also helped relieve the pain.

I just found out that there is a class-action lawsuit against the companies that make denture adhesive. It seems that these adhesives contain enough zinc to cause many of the my FMS symptoms. They have not spoken any words of organ failures so as far as I know that is not a concern. I’m just worried and not sure if I should be asking for something else to be done. Yes it does. High levels of ammonia cause hepatic encephalopathy which in turn can cause confusion, sleepiness and forgetfulness. There are medications to help lower those levels. Speak to your hep doc.

Does anyone on here use dye thats not ammonia free? I get worried at times bcuss wehn I died my hair 2 weeks ago I didnt use ammonia free. I used the garnier frutis hair dye. But I was outside wehn i was dying it. But some girls say use the ammonia free dye. Was I still safe? & are u not supposed to put it on your scalp?
