This is not a question but a post with information for any people affected with mite infestation. First off I don't know if it can be remedied. I admit that this will depend on the severity of the infestation. I caught them a four years ago and was able to rid myself of them within a week or two. But two years ago I took a used mattress from freecycle. I kept it for several months. Eventually I threw it away. The damage was already done though.
And if you pack cloth diapers to go out in public or whatever that you firmly believe are clean and your child suddenly smells of ammonia ( due to the improperly cleaned diaper) you can try another diaper that was also improperly cleaned and continue to get the smell.

Some like Cedar, Sandalwood bother me, wisteria.. etc.), WD 40 an petroleum; as well as gas smells bother me. Etc etc etc.. Know boy in bubble/John Travolta movie.. Mines nto that bad; btu i cannto be around a lot of public for what they wear on them; or what stores clean with, or have in them. Fertilizers i cannot smell.
I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I work in a paint department. I mix colors and clean up paint pretty much. Since I've worked there we have always used glass cleaner to clean the paint off the desk and our hands. I didnt know this until today but the cleaner we use has ammonia in it. We discovered that my husband had an episode of Encephalopathy, which is high ammonia in the blood.

So my question is can this ammonia gone untreated continue to rise and lower on its own. Because he has days that he seems fine and then days when he is not with me completely. He does not eat much as his taste buds are totally out of wack. Most foods taste very salty.
I recently found out I had high ammonia, it was 66, I am taking lactalose and it is is now normal. All my blood work is within normal ranges on my liver function test and I also had a sonogram, have a mild fatty liver. Was wondering what could have caused this. I do drink a few beers a night.
