Common Questions and Answers about Ammonia vinegar

ammonia

What is your MELD score from your last blood test? Are you compensated or decompensated? If you are compensated, have you talked to your doc about hepatitis C treatment? Cramps in the legs and feet are very common with cirrhosis. You might want to try "Leg Cramps" you can find it at any Walgreens. It seems to work for me. You should ask the hepatologist for Xifaxan. For many people it is more effective in stopping HE flare-ups and has no nasty side-effects like Lactulose.
I recently noticed that my vagina has this strong vinegar smell to it.... is that normal?
Anyone else have this? I'm 35 weeks and my urine smells like ammonia. No burning when I go no fever...
that means that you have an infection. bacterial vaginosis. probably. no you should never ****** will pregnant. it wash away normal bacteria that is supposed to be in the vagina. and you could upset the normal ph balnce and then you can set yourself up for bacterial vaginosis. i know because in school we have to smell the urine of our other classmates and write the color smell, and do urine dipstick test on each other. urinalysis. so you might want to go and see the ob/gyn. keep me posted.
Your sweat and sebum in the vulva can ferment urine so that the natural ammonia mixes with the secretions and bacteria to produce this ammonia-like scent. I have found success wearing only cotton knickers and went from pantyhose to thighhighs. Also, a very dilute white vinegar warm water wipe down of the vaginal lips, especially around the urethra (pee-hole) and under the clitoris helps, but I would caution you to do this gently. Scrubbing will irritate and make it worse.
First get my bowels working and my ammonia down. I'm out for a few weeks right before Xmas, that figures.
They used to add chlorine, which was bad enough, but now they add ammonia also. It is not a good mixture for our skin, hair or lungs. You might want to see if you can afford a shower filter that filters out the mixture, known as chloramine. Other suggestions would be doing a vinegar cool rinse or trying neem shampoo. But I really have to filter the water and do the other things too. My other shampoo I switch back and forth with is Neutrogena Clean shampoo. The green one.
Chlorine bleach, or sodium hypochlorite, is a lung and eye irritant. If mixed with ammonia or acid-based cleaners (including vinegar), chlorine bleach releases toxic chloramine gas. Short-term exposure to this gas may cause mild asthmatic symptoms or more serious respiratory problems. (Source: Washington Toxics Coalition) You could try the following remedies. To be on the safe side, don't mix chlorine bleach with anything -- or just avoid chlorine bleach altogether.
they have products with an enzyme that will do this, the area that was pee'd on will need to be cleaned with this product. Bleach/vinegar/ammonia and such products as you may have already found out will NOT work. good luck.
Its fairly watery i think I have been wearing panty liners. But -TMI warning - kinda smells like vinegar or something... its not massively strong, but I can smell it when I go to bathroom, change liner etc... some days its stronger then others - progressively getting less i think... . I dont think its thrush thats normally white and chunky isnt it? Anyone had this too? I am freaking out I have some serious problems, never had it before.
After washing hair, rinse in a basin of cool water with about a tablespoon of vinegar. Do one more rinse after that. If your city puts both chlorine and ammonia in your water system, consider getting a water filter that filters out both.
But if the chemicals bother u. than I have heard that either mixing vinegar and water together acts like windex. or for an antibacterial use water and hydrogen perixiode (sp?). Oh and if you do use cleaning products try to keep them off of your skin. Use gloves. and make sure the room you are in is well ventilated. Good luck to you.
i've eaten at least two a day ..they're made with white vinegar..salt..and spices....i'm wondering if my enzymes going up a little could be my body just adjusting to my change of diet...i'll get another vl in a couple weeks..of course as we all are i'm anxious to get a little further and monitoring blood work the best i can...is it normal for liver enzymes after tx to do this?...thanks...
I seem to be sensitive to the chemicals added to the water these days. They tend to add both ammonia and chlorine now. My skin hates this. If you have any asthma, that's an even better reason to get a whole-house filter that filters out ammonia and chlorine (chloramine is the chemical that results). For the shampoo you switch to when not using Nizoral, consider Neutrogena Clean green formula.
Vinegar like smell in sweat is due to an acid called propionic acid. Since this acid is chemically similar to acetic acid in vinegar, the sweat smells of vinegar. This happens due to excess amino acids in sweat (which are breakdown products of protein), seen common with a high protein diet. Also if the diet is rich in cheese, then bacteria of staphylococcus type acts on the sweat and causes this smell of vinegar.
So, definitely consider what I say about the vinegar. Vinegar has antibacterial and anti fungal properties both. You should also see your doctor if you don't start feeling better after cleaning up.
it also had a smell to it and it smelled like vinegar. i had been doing some research with the babies father and he is freaking out because we saw on some site that it could be amniotic fluid and i can not get into the doctors until friday and it is now monday so i thought i would ask some more experienced people this is my first pregnancy any information will be greatly appreciated thanks for taking the time to read and answer this question for me!
Supplement with Zinc 25mg daily for a few weeks and apply some iodine at the bottom of your feet. Take 2T of organic apple cider vinegar an a glass of filtered water every morning -after the oil pulling if you decide to do it- Alkalize!!! Your body needs to get rid of toxins and bacteria from the infection(s). This is what I do: In a large 750ml water-bottle I put one bromelain tablet,1/2t raw natural sea-salt, 1/2t baking soda add filtered water and wait till dissolved.
The reason Windex works is because it contains vinegar. I live in Florida and the lifeguards all carry vinegar to put on jellyfish bites. You can mix up a combo of vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray it on to take the sting away. Of course, the sting usually comes back after a while! Hate those Port. man o' wars!
The minute I had discontined this supplement my perspiration had ceased to smell like a horse, (ammonia). Are you taking and supplements that might be affecting your body chemistry? I think the other person is right in, (just basically), saying drink your water!!! Hope this helps.
I found at Walgreens they sell some cleaner called Holy Cow. It's supposed to be organic and free of alcohol, ammonia, vinegar and VOC (whatever that is?) I am trying their glass cleaner and it works pretty well. I agree with mom888 about certain chemicals. I think in our family some of the fregrances aggravate some of us, either the smell, or causes headaches. Personally I'm not a fan of bleach.... I use it sometimes to sterilize pots, but the smell is strong...
about a month ago , woke up feeling like something was bitiing me , little dark bugs , thought were lice , now white flakes that move are in my clothing nipping away , feel like its the stage befor it turns into a bug have tried rid , vinegar and water , baking soda and water baths , i can get out of the tub and be totally clean soon white flakes start biting , please help me , run out of ideas!
Truth is, I shower in the morning, bathe at night, wash my clothes almost daily in vinegar and 20 mule team borax, I wear deodarant have perscription strength, bring a change of clothes to school everyday and I wipe with anti bacterial wipes. I can't wear anything like talc, or vinegar or anything of that sort because you can smell that ontop of my smell. I smell even in first hour and it gets progressivley worse through out the day.
It may also occur temporarily if a person has a tube placed through the nose or mouth to the stomach to drain the stomach contents (nasogastric tube) in place. The breath may have an ammonia-like odor (also described as urine-like or "fishy") in people with chronic kidney failure." You can help your GP by looking for patterns - possible related to how soon after you eat do you smell this and perhaps what you eat.
A product the Vets on this forum have recommended is 'urine off' avail at pet stores. Vinegar/ammonia solutions do not remove the scent. good for you trying to solve kitties problems, its not fair to kitties to be given to a shelter when its often we humans that need to be more informed. please continue to let us know how this all works out.
Never have had any health problems in my life other then an exercise asthma that i had as a kid that i don't have anymore. And ammonia when i was 12. I smoked cigarettes for the last 5 years and have recently quit and i smoke marijuana 2-3 times a week. I have been getting random chest pains in the right side of my chest like 3 inches to the left of the right nipple and then sometimes the left side of chest 3 inches right of the left nipple.
And, in the mean time, try cleaning with anything you can possibly think of that will serve as repellent also. For instance, bitter apple is a cat repellent. Vinegar is also good to clean the mess. You can also find some good products at the pet store. Your only problem is, while they eliminate stains, the vast majority of these products do not take away the ammonia odor fast enough.
Oh, and it doesn't matter if you use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar from the big gallon jugs for this. It's just that the white stuff is definitely less expensive. If you're just cleaning with it, it really doesn't matter which one you use. The white stuff actually works for jelly fish stings from what they say on TV, so I imagine the white stuff will work on other rashes, too.
(I studied that if your ears feel clogged and ichy inside frequently that it may be a fungal infection and that apple cider vinegar works like clock work. In between the vinegar treatments, and sometimes right after, I used the saline solution provided with the Netti pot because it is very soothing. As a matter of fact for that 1st and second week I used this saline or sea salt solution to flush my sinuses anytime I even thought that the smell was returning between the vinegar treatments.
You just never know what is in the commercially made ones. I do use bleach but in a very reduced solution. Vinegar is also a great disinfectant and good for windows. Ammonia also is a no no with me....so no Windex for me. I could go on and on...please let me know if you have any more questions. I will be happy to help. I hope that your son's RAD gets under better control.
