Has anyone ever heard of someone being allergic to negative ions? A few years ago we bought a couple of those air purifiers which put out negative ions in order to reduce orders and allergens in the air. My son became very sick with flu like symptoms. We got rid of the air purifiers and he seems to be doing lots better, We recently changed most all incandescent light bulbs in our house to CFL light bulbs.

My understanding is that the device is able to detect an increase in chloride ions. Chloride ions are supposed to increase before the LH surge. I think it is similar to the ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor which is supposed to detect an increase in estrogen, which is supposed to occur prior to the LH surge.
