ambien with cold medicine

I have been taking Ambien/Ambien CR for several years now. I switched from the regular Ambien when the Ambien CR became available. Two nights ago I took my nightly migraine medications and my Ambien CR. I remember being awake for about 45 mins after that and then I remember nothing. Some how I was unconscience when I took 8 more Ambien CR 12.5 mg. I remember nothing after that. I went on a wild rampage in my room and destroyed everything in sight and I do mean everything.

Hi!:) I was given ambiance when I was induced with my first son. I totally agree it made me feel loopy, completely knocked me out For the night, and I barely remember anything from the night before! Then having to wake up and start the induction process was crazy because I wasn't alert. Bottom line I think some docs will give it if insomnia is a big issue but if u don't like how it makes u feel definitely have them switch it.

I have a friend who takes two 10 mg of ambien evernight along with 4 to 6 benadryls to sleep. This is everynight and has been doing it for ohhh i would say at least a year. She doesnt take anything else or drink. Do u think this is an issue at all? She says she cannot sleep well any other way. And if this is the case is she gonna have to take this her entire life because I know insomnia can be a chronic sleep issue for life.

Maybe stop the lexapro first then stop the adderal and last work on the ambien. Most likely the ambien is only required because you take adderal but for each drug you need a slow tapper down plan to minimuze the withdrawal effects.

I just found out that I am 6 week pregnant and I am worried because I took ambien, prozac (20 mg), cold medicine, claritin (allergy meds) and I drank a few beers over the holiday. I also had a dental xray. Should I be worried???

Vit C morning and afternoon, Echinacea 3x a day, honey, ginger n lemon tea, boil some chicken bones in a pot of water with carrot, celery, onion and a splash of vinegar for 24 hours then strain and drink a cup 2-3 times a day. These all work WAY quicker for me to relieve and cure a cold than any medicine I've found.

I wouldn't think there would be any reason that you couldn't take the cold medicine and I doubt they would cancel the procedure since it's only a needle Bx ... BUT I would call the Radiology Dept. early in the morning just to be sure. Every Physician and Institution has different requirements ... it would be best to call very early just to be sure. I was shaking and having terrible tremors from the Ambien detox, and I was beginning cold turkey from the hydro as well yesterday. I sought out help at a detox center. They gave me some medicine to help me sleep and stop shaking. I finally slept last night. I went again today, and they gave me one dose of suboxone because I was in full detox from the hydro. The sub has made me feel full of energy, really happy, and like nothing is wrong at all. Is it horrible that I took the sub?

Also, remember, that you can build a tolerance up with xanax...If you are still concerned, why not talk with your pharmacist that fills your prescription? They usually have a wealth of knowledge that you can tap into in my opinion. I have used it a couple of times and it worked...just ensure you have a fairly good chunk of time blocked off for sleep. If you use it to help with withdrawals such as insomnia, that's what it sounds like you asking, you're only substituting another drug in place of the other(s) . Then again, it's probably worked as a 'bridge' for some people to make the withdrawal easier. But as mentioned above, it is addicting and often just prolongs the process more.

My dr just switched me from Klonopin to Ativan with Vistaril...I also take ambien 10 mg....I have flexeril for leg cramps...but I wanted RLS medicine...if I get a script for requip..and take my ativan, ambien and vistaril...will it ease my withdrawal symptoms?...I have probation in 4 days and am going to get urine testedx this time so I have no choice.......any suggestions...plus if I can go 4 days I would like to quit for good again...somebody help me...
