Ambien with aspirin

Common Questions and Answers about Ambien with aspirin

ambien

Avatar m tn I was prescribed ambien before I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer about 6 weeks ago. It was a miracle pill for 4 days and after that it really didn't help me sleep. It did turn my mind off and slow things down, but sometimes I am still awake hours after taking this. Everyone is different and I sure think that it is worth a try! Good luck with it!
Avatar n tn ve been taking clonazepam 1mg for about 18 months now, almost everyday (well every now and then for a couple months, but usually everyday) - and I also took ambien 20mg for about 3 years. I stopped the ambien 2-3 weeks ago and didn't notice any changes really, except I felt a little better and I've been a lot more entertaining/funny around my friends.
Avatar m tn There is a protocol for medical control of Afib. As my cardiologist explained to me, over 65 years of age with persistent Afib requires coumadin or a like medication for blood thinning. The fact that you've had a stroke already indicates a higher need of control via coumadin or a similar drug. I'm 51 with paroxysmal Afib and I'm on 81mg aspirin for it. If I were in your position, and likely I will someday, I'd stick with the more aggressive therapy.
Avatar f tn Most people knock themselves out with a strong pain med and retreat to the dark, quiet room. It has to be aspirin for me. atylenol or any other over the counter pain relief med won't work. I wasn't allowed pain medication too because I had such a bad mental reaction when I took pain meds for other pain conditions. I can put up with a lot of pain but a migraine is not one of them. You are not alone in this dillemma.
Avatar m tn I usually take half an ambien and fall right to sleep. My problem is I wake 5 or 6 hours later with my heart about to jump out of my chest and can't go back to sleep. Not a fast heart beat but just nervousness and dreading that I have to get up and go to work 2 hours later. I've tried aspirin, tylenol, ibuprofen, and just about everything else for this headache but it usually only helps for an hour or two.
Avatar f tn NO!!! you are still 16 days.....just be very carefull with the ambiem.... congrats on 16 days!!!
763205 tn?1234422576 How many pills did you take after going back and counting the tablets? It's not uncommon for people who take ambien or Ambien Cr to not remember doing something. They fall asleep and don't know they're sleeping, so the end up taking more pills because they don't remember taking the 1st one and the cycle keeps on going. I've heard horror stories of people racking up credit cards, diving and cooking while on Ambien.
Avatar f tn Be careful with Trazadone though because it is an anti-depressant and could stimulate manic episodes in someone with Bi-Polar Disease.
Avatar n tn I was on Sub too and they gave me ambien to take with it. they just said no matter what dont drink alcohol with the Ambien.
Avatar n tn So check with your doctor and see what he recommends, okay? Better to be safe with you and the little one. Sweet dreams!
Avatar m tn Hi there. I recently completed treatment with sovaldi-olysio (and RIBA) and had SVR. I would go along with your doctor's advice on this. I personally used Ambien nightly while on treatment, and also took an occasional prescribed Percocet for ruptured disc pain. Good luck!
Avatar m tn At day 19 I thought I would be completely finished with these xanax wd's but they keep coming and coming. Late last night I watched a commercial about Lunesta and they mentioned that a common side effect was new or worsening depression. That caught my attention so I began to frantically research Ambien and every article I've read lists new or worssening depression as a common side effect. I've been taking Ambien off & on for the past 2 years..usually only 1/2 a tablet.
Avatar m tn I had good results with both Atarax (itching) & Ambien (sleep) when I treated. Good idea not to get dependent on these. Also be extra careful with the Ambien, it puts you in such a deep sleep that people have driven to the store then went back to bed. Would find stuff they bought at the store and receipts with times when the person was sleeping!
266660 tn?1189755834 Did you talk with your doctor about taking the two together, like a half hour before bed? I used to take my kpin before bed with some medication that makes you tired together. How does the lunesta work btw?
Avatar n tn t know about an overdose, but taking more than you are supposed to can cause sleep walking, but in my case it was sleep driving. It is very dangerous and you should not play around with it. I HATE AMBIEN!!!
Avatar m tn You should consult with your doctor before taking any medicaiton, but there is information that aspirin and In combination with omega-3 fatty acids could be helpful in the treatment of some forms of coronary artery disease. Again consult your doctor about whether this combination would be appropriate for you.

Avatar n tn In addition, I now follow the recently revised American Diabetes Association guidelines for aspirin use in people with diabetes. Whereas the ADA used to recommend low-dose aspirin for every diabetic patient over the age of 40, their new guidelines suggest aspirin as a prevention strategy only in those with diabetes whose cardiovascular risk is above average. This includes men over age 50 or women over age 60 with at least one additional major risk factor.
Avatar m tn The doc has your best interest at heart and you can now buy aspirin with little hearts on the front of the packaging telling that it is exactly what its meant for. How easy is that? Pro athletes take them among millions of other people why not take something that is a preventative???? Good luck and happy new year......
Avatar f tn I've had three miscarriages and my doctor prescribed me baby aspirin (same as low dose aspirin) right after the last one. I am now 6 months pregnant & have been taking 1 pill everyday along with my prenatal vitamins since last January. You can ask your doctor about it & see what they say.
492921 tn?1321289896 I do not respond to generic Ambien the same as the brand Ambien. I would recommend trying the brand, if you can afford it. It can make all of the difference. I am so, so sorry to hear about your miscarriage and your post traumatic stress. Sleep will be very important in your recovery, so I hope that you can get this resolved. I would not recommend using xanax for sleep, however. What dosage are you taking?
