ambien

1246883 tn?1285547973 I immediately started to gain weight. And stopped the Seroquel immediately (mid Dec). I know this is one of the side effects. I gained about 5lbs. Being 5'9" and weighing 135, I felt the 5 extra pounds would come off with eating better and a few more yoga classes . But the weight kept coming. I got down to a dietary intake of about 1000 cals. But that mad no difference.
Avatar f tn ve seen what it does to my mom...anyone not have bad side effects like sleep walking, sleep driving or hillucinating?
Avatar f tn the white Zoldepam is 10 mg the ones that you were taking before were probably 5 mg i take the 10 mg and have for about 3 years i have had no side effects are you sure it is the ambien and not some other med i have had 1 perso tell me that they thought it was the ambien that made them sleep walk one night, but i do not know you mught look up side effects for ambien luck jo
Avatar n tn The other common side effects of Ambien are headache, dizziness, mental clouding, daytime drowsiness and allergies. Hence, it is advised you visit your doctor if you are experiencing any such side effects. The drug is considered safe for a period of two to maximum six weeks for the treatment of insomnia. If taken for a longer duration, one may develop dependence on ambien. You should discuss with your doctor about the risks of taking ambient for 2 weeks or longer.
711158 tn?1229544700 To best try and answer some of your questions, we need to know what blood tests for thyroid have been run and what were the actual results. If free T3 and free T4 have not been run, along with the usual TSH, then that would be a good idea to have done. I have no experience with BP being affected by thyroid, so I'll leave that for other members.
Avatar f tn Is this a result of Xanax withdrawal, Ambien side-effects or sleep deprivation? It seems worse than anything I experienced during previous episodes of weaning off Xanax. I didn't have to go to work while doing this before so maybe that alters my perception somewhat. At this point I don't know whether to continue with the Ambien a little longer to see if things improve. (I've already experienced performing actions which I don't remember under it's influence.
Avatar f tn t have any of the side effects that some people report. Hopefully, someone with more experience and information can respond. Take care, dear, you are doing so well!
Avatar f tn thanks for you response. I didn't really feel anything but then again I'm not sure. I did fill it again and started yesterday. I guess I always thought I was taking too much meds. I have 2 dif meds for diabetes and I also take ambien at night to sleep. I have a hard time sleeping through. I just thought if I eliminated one med it would be that much less. I think I was wrong because I was in tears yesterday and at the store while I was in line picking up the celexa.
1922425 tn?1322702653 Hi andream5, my husband is finishing week 16 today, so he completed incivek about 4 weeks ago. I would say his side effects since finishing incivek include itching (no rash), fatigue, some weakness/shortness of breath, fatigue, dry mouth/metallic taste in mouth, and insomnia. I think that the symptoms he is experiencing right now (post incivek) are very similar/identical to the side effects he had with previous two treatments. For the itching, he takes Atavan.
Avatar n tn Are you taking anything else? Seroquel at such a low dose probably shouldn't be causing those side effects. Have you tried trazodone or ambien or rozerem?
Avatar f tn re definitely gonna experience those serious side effects in which you are talking about. JMO.
Avatar f tn Benzodiazepine withdrawal could be very dangerous and has high risks of seizures. Ambien has numerous side effects as well including hallucinations. You should consult with a doctor before managing any prescription intake of withdrawal .
Avatar m tn I also took Unisom 12.5 mg on 3 occasions and experienced similar side effects. I also took a 5mg ambien on another occasion and it made everything so much worse. Twitching 24/7 and muscle jerking when trying to fall asleep at night? Did this stuff happen to you too long after you were off the Unisom?
Avatar f tn I never had the refill done. But I am wondering why a 10mg Ambien with 100mg Trazadone seems to work well with no side effects and just the Ambien CR alone made so sleepy & tired. There must be some explanation. Tomorrow will be the sixth day since my last CR dose and I'm just now beginning to feel normal like I did. I know this is long but hopefully it will help someone else also.
Avatar m tn ve not experienced any long-term side effects (that I can tell or that may possibly show in blood work) from being on the Ambien this long. Of course, if I've had a rough night of sleep (or not sleeping), I will definitely be more fatigued and drowsy in the morning, but that's more than likely more related to the lack of sleep or lack of GOOD sleep than it is the Ambien itself.
Avatar m tn I can tell you from experience, both Ambien and Ambien CR are notorious for causing odd behavior. I had to quit taking Ambien CR after it stated causing anxiety and pacin attack issues. Regular Ambien caused my husband to rise an hour after going to sleep and go down to our garage and work on his bike until 3:30 AM, when I realized he wasn't in bed and found him downstairs asleep.
Avatar n tn and again...is ambien the only drug that u take on a regular basis?
Avatar n tn I would think it was the Ambien alone causing the problems, but anything is possible. Ambien has a lot of possible side effects. I've taken melatonin without problem, but it is illegal in Europe.
337492 tn?1212458836 I am starting to feel better, but I am having side effects. I have been on the lithium for a year so I am not worried about it, but I feel jittery, am shaky, and my heart rate is staying at 100 BPM. Will this calm down as the med gets in my system? 150 mg per day taken at 75 mg x2. I just want to make sure I will be ok. I see my new doctor on Tuesday. Thanks.
