I will not be taking this medication again but I just want to make sure that I am okay. I also take xanax and ambien. But they are all prescribed by the same doctor and he said they were fine. You might want to see if the Dr will switch you to say lunesta and see if you can use that while getting off ambien or when you tapered low enough to jump and switch. Good luck.

Yes I agree I took mine right when I got home from work at 6pm so I had an exact schedule with two tylenol. Then at 9 or so I'd take an Ambien and then by 10 I would be asleep and hopefully sleep through any ill effects. It's ok to take the riba and go to work on day one but I would not advise taking the shot and going to work until you know how it's going to affect you. Some have no reactions and some have their worst reactions at this shot.

I have been on 100 mg of Seroquel a day for the past 4 weeks and 900 mg of lithium a day for the past 2 weeks and am finding my agitation and irritability greatly increased. My reactions are far more intense than before I started the meds. Has anyone experienced this with Seroquel?

t regret that decision. I always pre-medicate with Aleve or something similar, do the shot and go to bed (taking an Ambien). The huge majority of the time it's that simple---no bad effects. On a small handful of occasions I've still gotten bad flu-like effects, for no reason I can figure, but that means that 50 weeks out of the year I've done great. Pretty good percentage. For some, the side effects subside or disappear entirely as time passes.
