I don't know about an overdose, but taking more than you are supposed to can cause sleep walking, but in my case it was sleep driving. It is very dangerous and you should not play around with it. I HATE AMBIEN!!!

t mention before but along with cold turkey from lortab I also stopped taking my ambien that I had taken religiously for several months as well. Had no idea you could have WD from them. Does anyone know how much longer it will be until sleep comes back? I think I've really messed myself up with this one. Any experience with stopping ambien suddenly? I really just need peace of mind at this point. I'm exhausted.

Ok I'll be as brief as possible. Been on Ambien (or stilnox as it's known here) for nearly 7 years, I'm up to 100-120 mg a day, since end of last year been waking up in jolts of panic, shaking thru the day with butterflies. Can't eat hardly, feel sick all the time. Last august was in and out of the ER and had tests done for gastric upset all tests were normal then I found out ambien can cause gastric upset.

Two nights ago I took my nightly migraine medications and my Ambien CR. I remember being awake for about 45 mins after that and then I remember nothing. Some how I was unconscience when I took 8 more Ambien CR 12.5 mg. I remember nothing after that. I went on a wild rampage in my room and destroyed everything in sight and I do mean everything.

Guaifenesin, how much is an Overdose? My daughter 11 years old 100 lbs (big for her age), took (the correct dose) 5mL cough and cold medicine that had the following in that dose. Guaifenesin, USP 100 mg, Dextromethorpan HBr, USP 10 mL. Phenylephedrine HCI, USB 5mg. But then she also took (the correct dose) 10 mg of a prescription medicine Guaifenesin-Codeine syrup (generic for Robitussin AC syrup). It doesn't state on the label the quantity of Guaifenesin mg in the 5mL dose.

Last month I took soma and about 30min to an hour later took ambien. I ended up in the hospital for an accidental overdose because I stopped breathing due to the combination of medications. both meds are CNSD's Central nervous System Depressants. I had the same doctor who wrote my prescriptions and the same pharmacy that filled both and neither one told me about the possible risks.

I took tablets vepridone and ambien 2 months ago, doctors saved my life but now I am having shaky hands, I can't write and I feel extremely uncomfortable all the time. Okay, I know I am an old fogy but I don't know who he is? Back in the day the prescribed narcotics for sleep, these days ambien etc. How can one overdose on these new drugs? Perhaps they can, I don't know that much about OD on ambien, lunesta etc. On another point about depression. I have situational depression. have for years. When I started tx I was told I had to start one again. I am glad I did as the depression has killed many of our fellow heppers on tx.

I understand about your concern about going to your Dr., but there is something called a "Dr./Patient Privacy Act." However I'm not sure how it applies if your still under age. However, if she is the one prescribing for you I think you should still talk to her. Addiction is a Family Problem, and I don't know your parents, but I have a teenage daughter, and if she were going through something like this I would want to know so I could help her, not belittle her.

I know that sounds like bad news, but just start counting at the last day you took ANYTHING and begin again! The ambien....how long have you been taking that? Also, don't take the ambien during the day to sleep!!! You won't sleep at night if you do that, ok? Ambien is way, bad addicting. Be very careful! You can do this. Hang in there!

Had arthroscopic surgery on my knee in march,rotator cuff surgery July 18,diabetic neuropathy.Meds are,gabopenton 300 mg,7.5 vicodon 3-4 times aday,ambien as needed,lexipro 1 a day and 100 units insulin a day.Surprisingly I feel somewhat sluggish,what is the outlook for my liver?

Hi. I probably cant tell you anything you havent heard before. I can relate though, my doc told me that ambien and some antidepressants werent addictive either. I didnt realize they were until I quit c/t and went thru wd's. Ambien wasnt really a problem for me, just a lot of sleepness nights. If you're only taking them at night, and not really having a lot of problems with them, you might not need to quit right away.

ER nurses and doctors are trainned to see signs of drug overdose. If they suspect overdose they will get you the help you need. Panic attacks will not have same symptoms. So I agree with everything that hadenough123. It has been a while for me also since I worked ER.

Does anyone know how much tylenol intake will cause liver damage. I ask this as have read a few help posts and some people are taking 20 norcos a day which is 10mg of opiate and 325 mg of tylenol. I was doing some math and taking 20 a day adds up to almost 1/4 ounce of tylenol a day, or 1/2 lb a month and a whopping 6 lbs a year!!!
