Common Questions and Answers about Ambien jitters

ambien

Avatar f tn I also have ativan for anxiety, ambien for sleep and got some muscle relaxers for the RLS for the night time jitters. Well, on Sunday I was sick in bed throwing up and had the runs pretty bad. I'm not sure if it was withdrawal symptoms or if I was really sick since my daughter had the same thing the day before. BUt anyway, I feel totally fine. I was expecting the usual sweats, anxiety, jitters all day and night and terrible terrible RLS, but haven't had any of these symptoms....
Avatar f tn *% is the only way to describe it! Mania and insomnia. Now I am better but my psychiatrist has put me on ambien 10 mg daily with klonopin as needed. I rarely take the klonopin as it appears that each day the "jitters" seem to be leaving me. I feel better as each day passes, yet I am concerned about withdrawing off ambien and if indeed I will be able to sleep on my own.
Avatar n tn 1 ml 3x a day) to help with the sypmtoms and Ambien to go to sleep ans Xanas to settle me dowqn. Neither medicie has done the job. HWen I taken, I wak around the house like a drunk zombie, Untel the exhaustion overtakes me. Do any of you know of any medicines that I can ask my doctor to prescribe me to manage this restlessness and immsonia?
Avatar m tn "Just a note on ambien. Don't take it when you don't need it." Amen to that. I have to be especially careful, as I've had some issues with hypnotics in the past. I put all that behind me 8 years ago when I quit the alcohol, so... I'm really super leary. Thanks for the info!
Avatar m tn As far as the anxiety goes, I played a little head game with myself. I told my body the jitters were no different than when I first fell in love and we all handled that feeling fine than.....So this anxiety will soften with each day clean. Go easy on the xanax though. You defiantly don't want to have to kick that when these rain deer games are done. Keep up the great work.
Avatar f tn i have jitters in my stomach and cant stand to be closed up in a room or alone and my breathing is heavy what do i do?
Avatar n tn Sounds like it might be a tad extreme -- as you discovered, it's a "novel" anti-psychotic with sedative properties. Why didn't he give you a week's supply of benzos or Ambien? No repeats, just seven days and no more ... even safer would be an ancient anti-depressant called trazodone. Knocks you on your *** for the first few days, so you could ask for that one -- not addictive.
149675 tn?1416673133 I was not expecting that and as it it draws closer I am getting the pretreatment jitters. I am actually not nervous about taking the trial drug and in fact I am excited about the chance to take it as I think this is going to be another strong contender in future treatment regimes. I am really nervous about the SOC that is given with it. I fully realize that all the future therapies whether Protease or polymerase inhibitors will be given with peg and riba as a triple therapy.
Avatar f tn Wow, you sound JUST like me. I was prescribed pain pills for real pain about 2 years ago, right after my 3rd child. Well, caring for the house and 3 kids under 3....YES, I said 3 KIDS UNDER 3, (haha) was hard, to say the least. I began taking them regularly just to get through the day. On top of all of this, I was suffering from extreme PPD and was not medicated. I used the percs to help in this area. I only got professional help last year and was put on Cymbalta.
Avatar m tn I am so proud of you!!! Please keep it up. I will put you in my prayers. I hope that you can get sleep and that work goes well for you. Hugs!!! Congrats!!
Avatar m tn I have been taking ultram/vicodin for the past 6 years. I started on vicodin (up to 6 10/325 a day but only about 4 a day average, then after 3 years switched to ultram rather the generic version which I took no more than 4 a day (average 3) for 4 years. I quit cold turkey 5 days ago and withdraw symptoms (cold sweats, uncontrollable temperature variations (too cold/too hot, can't regulate) were actually extremely mild, but the jitters, they are persistent.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum - I've been on Zoloft for 5 weeks, slowly increased my dosage to 100mg, been on 100mg for 2 weeks and I've been experiencing the 'coffee jitters' for the past week. I know as soon as the jitters and shake go away I'll be cured from this terrible anxiety! My question is: did anyone else have the jitters and shakes, if so, when will it go away?
Avatar m tn I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function. The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Avatar f tn i duno i didnt wanna do it because the one thing says gives you the coffee jitters so that scared me away from it, the hole wd feels like bad coffee jitters so y would i wanna add to that lol take the vitamins instead it worked for me
Avatar f tn I also take clonazepam and gabapentin. The only problem I have left is jitters some mornings, especially. Does anybody know if upping the Cymbalta dose would eliminate those jitters or make them worse. I had them before the Cymbalta. I'm also nervous when I have them.
Avatar f tn How do you get through an Ambien withdrawl? I was taking up to 7 a day> shaking, sweating, nausea and my mind feels drunk. R there any non-addictive meds to help the detox?
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever been given ambien during pregnancy? I just started on it last night to help me sleep. Anyone have any negative effects? Should i be worried about my babies?
Avatar f tn I'm 16+2 my dr prescribed me ambien..I'm scared to take it as I've seen what it does to my mom...anyone not have bad side effects like sleep walking, sleep driving or hillucinating?
Avatar f tn I've looked up a lot about ambien during pregnancy and I haven't found anything saying you shouldn't take it or that it'll harm the baby. Has anyone spoken to their doctor about ambien? I've had ambien prescription for years and it's really hard for me to sleep. No I'm not addicted, I used to take it only once or twice a week. It wasn't an every day thing. But it gets sooooo hard for me to sleep some nights so I'm wondering if it's safe.
491910 tn?1209366193 then 30...and so on until its 5 then jump off. I have ambien, rozerem scripts myself but stopped the ambien and made it a once a week or less thing because it can be bad news. You might want to see if the Dr will switch you to say lunesta and see if you can use that while getting off ambien or when you tapered low enough to jump and switch. Good luck.
Avatar n tn r u sure it is the ambien? it could be a mixture? all 3 drugs aggravate depression and out of the 3 ambien is categorized as the least addictive of the three drugs u r taking.....i would talk to my doctor and find another alternative for sleep....taking these every night could get u into trouble..have u tried the natural sleep aids like melatonin, valerian, etc?
