Well I'm back on the Ambien again. I'm waiting for my husband to go to Walmart to get the Restless leg Cream. I can't get the pills till the 5th. The depression is killing me again. I don't guess another couple of days will hurt anything. Won't make the WD shorter either. I bought McAfee virus software yesterday and was on the phone with them half the night. Had to finish up this morning. They had my PC all screwed up!!! My blood pressure was out of sight!

I have been on Ambien for years and can not sleep........I take it like at 10pm and awake around 1am...Have been having migranes for two months everyday and night. Is this due to the Ambien and being on it for so long, that now I can't get any sleep whatso ever. I will not nap during the day in hopes that I get a good nights sleep but that doesn't work either...any suggestions.........Please I need to sleep even if it's just 6hrs...I would love to beable to sleep..
I take ambien every single night for sleep. it is the only thing that has ever helped me sleep. I have been taking ambien for 10 years. I really want to stop taking it now..i am in a constant brain fog during the day and always tired. I have horrible vivid dreams from the ambien and have been known to have conversations and parttake in activities i have no recollection of the next day and that to me is frightening.
my neck they found the mild cerebellar tonsillar ectopia and mild ventral osteophytic bony ridging as well as a small left paracentral disc protusion at c5-6. I have never had headache issues before in my life accept every so often id get slight headache. this is now taken over my life i am barely able to function due to lack of sleep and the pain. i basicly lay in my bed all day long with lights out in the attempt to prevent the sever headaches .
I've tried everything to get rid of this headache bit nothing helps. Would I be setting the w/d back if I took one 50 mg tramadol? Not looking to get high just want the pain to go away. I don't want to do anything to set back the w/d but the last couple of days have been headache hell.
I was on Sub too and they gave me ambien to take with it. they just said no matter what dont drink alcohol with the Ambien.
By now, I'm hoping you've conquered getting the Ambien monkey off of your back. I am on day 5 of Ambien withdrawl. The first 72 hours were pretty bad: zero sleep, sweats, severe stomach pain, headache, neckache and backache, diarrhea, nausea. I cold-turkeyed it as I wanted off Ambien ASAP. Was up to nearly 20 mgs a night every night for sleep for two months.
I have a friend who has been sporadically abusing ambien and fioricet (not at the same time.) This was actually something both of us got into together, though I have been much much better about cutting down/ stopping. she however has not. To my knowledge she is taking about 60mg of ambien for about 4 nights at a time and then won't take it again till her next script is due (usually a week or two later.

Would adding magnesium help as well. I take xanax 1.0 and ambien 10 and still nothing. this combo used to let me sleep for about 9 hours. I can't take the no sleep. I've just taken a benedryl but hope it won't dry out my sinus headache that I already have. I am 39 hours clean from the lortab. Just to have hubby's friend get a prescription that he doesn't want. I am holding off on this. Felt like I've come this far. Just don't want the restless legs tonight.
I have difficulty falling asleep and remaining asleep. I have been using both Ambien and Xanax for years. I would like to wean off Xanax completely. I recently ran out and after about 24 hours I began to feel ill, strange, hot and cold and suffered with a headache, backache and insomnia. I take between 2-3 mg daily. I would like to begin a realistic schedule to wean off completely, without suffering the side effects.
After Ambien and Lunesta quit cold on me (due to the hormone change), I have been taking 1 ambien and 150 mg. of Trazadone for 3 nights now. I started with one Ambien and 50 mg. of Trazadone, then second night, I couldn't sleep so my regular doctor said to adjust dosage to 1 Ambien and 100 mg.. Third night I had to use 1 ambien and 150 mg. of Trazadone according to doctor's prescription of 1 to 3 tablets of Trazadone.
( for sleep) Wanted to get off of the ambien. He had already helped me through this about 4 months ago. My pain management dr knows I want off the ambien so maybe he will write me one. I get back injections Monday, I'll ask him then. If not I'll have to go to the pill pushing Dr, I need prayers.
When it first happened, I was taking lots of medication that listed this as a side effect (lyrica, ambien and pain medication following back surgery). The surgery was two months ago and I've been off all medications for about three weeks. I had a terrible 'attack' of this double vision a few days ago, so bad that I couldn't drive. The double vision is horizontal and goes away when I cover either eye. It seems to come and go, but has been persistent the last couple of days.
I have taken more baths that I can count, I do have ambien to help sleep. Although still get littlE sleep. I have had an ongoing headache that I cannot get rid of. - am guessing thAt is normal. This is so hard. And my dose was considered low. Hydro 5 mg about 5 times a day.
Perhaps you are right! I thought it might be because my man boobs had become so miniscule from tx weight loss. Gotta find some ambien, is it unethical to give the little woman some roofies?
muscle weakness... constant headache...racing heartbeat...trouble breathing...memory glitches... concentration issues.. no energy...insomnia... exhaustion...(I know it makes no sense... I am tired, but can't sleep - unless I take Ambien)
Soooo I teach math, and feeling like this sucks. It's getting worse....
Tests have ruled out: lupus, cushings, heart disease, asthma or any other lung issue...
Anyone have a clue?
How do you get through an Ambien withdrawl? I was taking up to 7 a day> shaking,sweating,nausea and my mind feels drunk. R there any non-addictive meds to help the detox?
