Avatar m tn I did a surgery called cross linking with riboflavin (for keratoconus), After the surgery I developed a bit of haze, now a year after I have trace haze but I am taking Flarex now if it might help. The haze does not affect refraction but it does cause glare and haloes.
Avatar f tn For the past 2 months i have been expeirencing what i can only call as a weird numbing haze over my eyes. My actual sight isn't intterupted other then things seem just a tad hazy and the areas around my eyes get this slight tingling sensation I have also noticed that it is much worse at night especially under uneven light like say i am in the living room and i have a lamp on and i am looking into the dining room where there is no light my eyes feel really funnky when i do that???
Avatar m tn 0 glass.i had OCT test it showed reading 114 um(micro mtr) haze on cornea( i am not sure is it haze or what) . i am very much worried about this and my doctor is saying that i have to undergo prk procedure again as by that way he is only able to clear haze from my left eye. . doctor prescribed me some medicines from day of prk. From day of surgery till now i am using them. medicines he prescribed were: 1. pilocarpine nitrate 2% (1 time in a day) 2.
Avatar m tn Still see a haze around lights, which I mentioned, again he said its dry eyes. The haze fluctuates depending on the day, and on one night the haze was gone, but the next day was back again, its not affecting me other than annoying. The haze is same colour as the light itself, and is not a halo, but a haze. With traffic lights its kind of when a child colours in a circle but goes over the lines somewhat. One md online said put eye drop in and then look at the light.
3051583 tn?1352465761 Do you see a haze move across your vision? Is it white or dark? Does it move with the direction of your eyes or opposite? Many thanks from Sas, TVTipp and myself.
Avatar m tn however with two eyes open my vision is perfectly clear. An eye doctor recently saw a tiny haze that could create this vision problem. Initially I saw double, then with shadow. I guess the ghosting got reduced. long distance vision was bad but is now as good as before. What worries me is that in the morning I see perfectly clear for about 30 minutes and then the vision starts to deteriorate slowly but certainly throughout the day.
Avatar m tn 3-4 months is a little early, but not unheard of. If the haze does not bother your vision, and you are able to read, drive, work, etc., there is no need for an immediate YAG capsulotomy.
Avatar f tn My visions is very clear other than the halo/haze. When the halo/haze occurs I test my vision by reading text of every size and variance of distances on street signs, license plates, etc. All text and objects are clear in color and focus, just as they should be. I had gone to the eye doctor 2 months ago, because I have been experiencing the halo/haze more frequently within the past 6-8 months.
Avatar f tn Vision was very good for reading and distance but a patch of haze frequently moved into the field of vision, worsening it. The surgeon said the haze would clear after a couple of weeks or so. Months later, it was still there, but I was still being told to be patient. Nearly a year later, my distance vision had decreased quite significantly and the haze was still there.

Avatar f tn I've looked up a lot about ambien during pregnancy and I haven't found anything saying you shouldn't take it or that it'll harm the baby. Has anyone spoken to their doctor about ambien? I've had ambien prescription for years and it's really hard for me to sleep. No I'm not addicted, I used to take it only once or twice a week. It wasn't an every day thing. But it gets sooooo hard for me to sleep some nights so I'm wondering if it's safe.
491910 tn?1209366193 then 30...and so on until its 5 then jump off. I have ambien, rozerem scripts myself but stopped the ambien and made it a once a week or less thing because it can be bad news. You might want to see if the Dr will switch you to say lunesta and see if you can use that while getting off ambien or when you tapered low enough to jump and switch. Good luck.

Avatar n tn While I was in the office, I forgot to ask whether this new drug could interact with the Ambien, so I stopped taking the Ambien until I could see my doctor again. About a month went by in which I did not use Ambien at all. During this time, the abdominal pains gradually lessened over a period of weeks, and eventually disappeared.
Avatar n tn Everyone keeps telling me you need rehab to get off ambien is this true?? I have been on it for 2 years on and off. I have trying to cut my dose. Can anyone give me the side effects of discontinuation ?
501205 tn?1227345442 I couldnt sleep last night and took an ambien for the first time in awhile and I have to say those are bad pills. I always thought they were okay for me but I made the mistake of taking one and not going to bed right away and I have no recollection of what I did for the last half hour before bed. I was just reading my post to Courtney and I cant even remember typing it -- let alone what it said.
