ambien euphoria

Can anyone tell me if there are contraindications with combining the three of these? The person is experiencing insomnia (even though Ambien is supposed to keep you asleep for 7-8 hours), wakes up several times per night, is restless, seems to be experiencing some sort of mental confusion during the day, etc. Also, although the cough syrup (Pennkinetic) was optional, they now regularly use it (and if it is not given to them, actually ask to have it).

I am amazed at what I have accomplished so far. With the help of a bit of ambien and valium I have been doing very well. I am lucky enough (have stated in past posts the last day or two) to be in a nice country in Latin America on vacation. I think the euphoria of being here is making me feel much better. Yesterday mid-day marked Day 4 and I thought I would sleep fine that night because the night before I was actualy alrigght with some abien.

Nodding is not a form of euphoria for me...i can do that all by myself!

I am in Latin America and the euphoria and relaxation of being in a foreign country on vacation has helped me out so much. I said in my earlier post for some weird reason I didn't get extremely bad withdrawls. This I do not understand. I had TERRIBLE RLS that was literally driving me nuts for two days. Since I am not in the USA I was able to easily get some 5MG Valium tablets out here.

I have had a couple patients addicted to large amounts of Ambien. There isn't a great amount of guidance out there for handling detox from Ambien; Ambien binds to a subunit of the GABA receptor, similar to benzodiazepines, so I think that a benzo taper would be reasonable.

Well, I am a CP patient who was in a MVA accident a couple of years ago, and have been taking opiates for my pain. I am a little shy to ask this because I don't want to be judged as being an addict or something, but I always thought that you could tell that a narcotic was working based on that warm fuzzy feeling you get..

then 30...and so on until its 5 then jump off. I have ambien,rozerem scripts myself but stopped the ambien and made it a once a week or less thing because it can be bad news. You might want to see if the Dr will switch you to say lunesta and see if you can use that while getting off ambien or when you tapered low enough to jump and switch. Good luck.

I am hoping I could get help i have no reason to be or any excuses but I am addicted to vicodin or percocet and ambien at times i don't know what to do or where to turn i am embarassed to say i have a job where i can get my hands on them often i am ashamed and afraid what am i going to do??

I do have a question. I'm day 5 clean. Yesterday afternoon, i had this sudden wave of euphoria, like when the pills would start to kick in. ( i didnt take any! ) Is this normal??

But I checked with another study recipient and we both agree that there is a mild sense of well being and euphoria that sets in about an hour after taking PSI 7977 and lasts for varying lengths of time and then begins to change to fatigue. It is like getting gas or a valium before a dental procedure. Has anyone else experienced such sensations on any of the hepatitis medications; experimental or not?

Ok I'll be as brief as possible. Been on Ambien (or stilnox as it's known here) for nearly 7 years, I'm up to 100-120 mg a day, since end of last year been waking up in jolts of panic, shaking thru the day with butterflies. Can't eat hardly, feel sick all the time. Last august was in and out of the ER and had tests done for gastric upset all tests were normal then I found out ambien can cause gastric upset.

My question is about using a mood stabilizer (Lamictal) with my Opana and hydromorphone, fentanyl and before, oxycontin. I do not get any euphoria from opiate or opiod medications or get much mental effects..and I'm wondering if my mood stabilizer is the reason for this...like it maintains me at an a level mood and this prevents my mood from being elevated similar to how it prevents me from having manic symptoms. Just a fyi, I'm not looking for the euphoria and hyperness etc....

I have posted how i take vicodin for energy. euphoria. Now, they make me feel good for ten minutes, and then i am tired. so i try another, rinse, repeat. why is the same dose making me tired all of a sudden?

How do you get through an Ambien withdrawl? I was taking up to 7 a day> shaking,sweating,nausea and my mind feels drunk. R there any non-addictive meds to help the detox?

I've looked up a lot about ambien during pregnancy and I haven't found anything saying you shouldn't take it or that it'll harm the baby. Has anyone spoken to their doctor about ambien? I've had ambien prescription for years and it's really hard for me to sleep. No I'm not addicted, I used to take it only once or twice a week. It wasn't an every day thing. But it gets sooooo hard for me to sleep some nights so I'm wondering if it's safe.

r u sure it is the ambien? it could be a mixture? all 3 drugs aggravate depression and out of the 3 ambien is categorized as the least addictive of the three drugs u r taking.....i would talk to my doctor and find another alternative for sleep....taking these every night could get u into trouble..have u tried the natural sleep aids like melatonin, valerian, etc?

Does anybody hae any comments about ambien? That stuff is crazy.... when I take it I find myself calling people and having intense conversations but the next day I can't remember anything. I can't even remember going to bed. But if I don't take it I can't fall asleep...

While I was in the office, I forgot to ask whether this new drug could interact with the Ambien, so I stopped taking the Ambien until I could see my doctor again. About a month went by in which I did not use Ambien at all. During this time, the abdominal pains gradually lessened over a period of weeks, and eventually disappeared.

I couldnt sleep last night and took an ambien for the first time in awhile and I have to say those are bad pills. i have been using ambien for many years now. i used the ambien and it's generic form zolpidem. it has always work up until two months ago when apparently the pharmacy changed suppliers. i took the little round purle pill up until then and now i take a white oval one. This one does not seem to be working as well and the side effect just seem wierd Does anyone think that the new manufacturer product is inferior and has anyone experienced this?
