I would not get your hopes with the Ambien I had Ambien and valium I used both for a week and still lost allot of sleep. Sleep deprivation is part of the ride. With time sleep will come bit by bit. I still wake up earlier than I want but my sleep I get is good sleep. Give your body some time to heal it has been through allot with using. I think by this weekend you will feel much better. After day 4 it only gets better.

Self-pay patients, a monthly (#30) day supply costs $135.00. Three years ago, Ambien cost $3.00 per pill. A very well know insurance company would cover Ambien, but only for a 15-day supply. When I called the insurance company to inquire why they did not pay for a 1-month supple (#30 tablets) which my physician had written for, they told me that there's was a new trend regarding peoples' sleep patterns; in that, people are only going to sleep every other day. Real comical....NOT!

I'm no doctor, so I definitely can't give you any medical information on Ambien, but I can relay my personal experience with it. I've been on Ambien (currently 10mg) for SEVERAL years now (5 or more). I have many chronic pain conditions, including fibroymalgia. One of the major symptoms of fibro is insomnia - which I definitely suffer from!

From there I started having problems falling asleep, staying asleep, and waking up early. I have tried many sleep aids, natural and RX. I started taking ambien CR in december. I only filled the rx once because of the cost. I took my last one and only slept for about 4 hours. Regular ambien I get the same or less sleep time. I took restoril this morning at 9:30 and slept until 1:30 and just laid around until I finally got up, very groggy.

It was a new purscription but was told by someone this information "I work for a primary doctor if your doctor will write you a script for lunesta in a generic form your insurance will pay for it also they will pay for ambien in generic it's alot less cost he should give you aleast a 30 day to see if it will help.

The nausea may just be a side affect of ambien. I love lunesta but do to the cost, I usually end up with generic ambien. Lunesta's patent has not expired yet.

s advice at what it cost me, which is zero. I am not going to take the ambien (or any addicting drug) again and just hope that I can eventually get back to normal. It *****, but I am hoping that with more time I can heal. I am just going to keep eating healthy, exercising, and taking the vitamin supplements.

I have done the sleep hygeine route, and have been tested for sleep apnea, tried several herbal sleep remedies, just about everything on the market, as well as ambien, ambien cr, and trazedone, all with little to no success. does anyone have any suggestion that may help me finally get some sleep??? Hello everyone! Been a while since I have been able to post but for the past few weeks I have been suffering from a very severe nauseated stomach. I have tried all kinds of over the counter meds to help but nothing seems to help...I am just downright sick to my stomach. After some research, I have found a lot of people suffer from Acid Reflux and GERD from Ambien but I really haven't seen anything about a constant, upset stomach which very little vomiting.

ve been taking 2mg 1x/day and it has made me happier, more sociable, and has even helped me sleep where the 40mg of Ambien has not been able to help me with. I feel alive again. I have not been popping them like candy, but rather I've been experimenting with it because my psychiatrist would rip me a new one if I told her any of this. I know benzos are usually off limits for addicts, but I've been keeping an eye on myself. Should I discuss this with my prescriber?

How do you get through an Ambien withdrawl? I was taking up to 7 a day> shaking,sweating,nausea and my mind feels drunk. R there any non-addictive meds to help the detox?

I've looked up a lot about ambien during pregnancy and I haven't found anything saying you shouldn't take it or that it'll harm the baby. Has anyone spoken to their doctor about ambien? I've had ambien prescription for years and it's really hard for me to sleep. No I'm not addicted, I used to take it only once or twice a week. It wasn't an every day thing. But it gets sooooo hard for me to sleep some nights so I'm wondering if it's safe.

then 30...and so on until its 5 then jump off. I have ambien,rozerem scripts myself but stopped the ambien and made it a once a week or less thing because it can be bad news. You might want to see if the Dr will switch you to say lunesta and see if you can use that while getting off ambien or when you tapered low enough to jump and switch. Good luck.

r u sure it is the ambien? it could be a mixture? all 3 drugs aggravate depression and out of the 3 ambien is categorized as the least addictive of the three drugs u r taking.....i would talk to my doctor and find another alternative for sleep....taking these every night could get u into trouble..have u tried the natural sleep aids like melatonin, valerian, etc?

Does anybody hae any comments about ambien? That stuff is crazy.... when I take it I find myself calling people and having intense conversations but the next day I can't remember anything. I can't even remember going to bed. But if I don't take it I can't fall asleep...

While I was in the office, I forgot to ask whether this new drug could interact with the Ambien, so I stopped taking the Ambien until I could see my doctor again. i have been using ambien for many years now. i used the ambien and it's generic form zolpidem. it has always work up until two months ago when apparently the pharmacy changed suppliers. i took the little round purle pill up until then and now i take a white oval one. I have been taking ambien for severe insomnia for about 5 years. I have never needed more than one pill a night. I have never taken more than prescribed but I cannot fall asleep without one pill. I am now pregnant, and i am cutting the pill in half. It is still working for me and I can get a few hours of sleep but IM still concerned that I am addicted to this.
