Ambien and heart rate

Common Questions and Answers about Ambien and heart rate

ambien

Avatar n tn heart rate is about 60, attenolol lowered rate to 46-48 beats per min. Have difficulty sleeping and would like to know if ambien would be ok to take.
Avatar m tn I am somewhat confused based on the information on your post. The ejection fraction (EF) is the amount of blood pumped into circulation with each heartbeat. I haven't ever heard of an increase of the EF when pulse rate increases. Cardiac output (CO) is increased and that metric is the total amount of blood pumped into circulation based on heart rate for one minute. A pacemaker would control the heart rate.
Avatar n tn sleep medicine is just a short term fix. But i do have an underlying condition, fainting upon standing and a lil faster heart rate. I am also tiny, i have low blood pressure. But everysince i was diagnosed with my condition, i have been having alot of sleep problems. I did see a sleep doctor, he said most of my insomnia is psychological and the other is because of my condition. he did recommend a sleep study after a month of therapy.
6074055 tn?1378958419 My experience there is the study measures how much REM sleep you get and if you are getting sufficient oxygen and have a reasonable heart rate.. maybe a few other things...but nothing that would explain why you are never tired.. unless it shows you are really sleeping 7 or 8 hours and just don't believe it. Good luck.

Avatar f tn Wear yourself out, when I have trouble sleeping I usually go home after work and take a long walk then clean my house and if it's not to late maybe take another walk. I pretty much keep moving until like 8:00 which by that time I wore myself out and get a good night sleep. Plus it's good for the baby to get your heart rate up, the faster your heart rate the more blood pumping which is great for the baby. Just don't over do it. Good luck and congrats!
Avatar n tn Does anyone have any suggestions or medications that wont fluctuate with my blood pressure and heart rate so i can get a good nights sleep?
Avatar f tn It sounds like you need to be followed by a doctor through the detoxification. Please don’t play with your health. If you are out of breath and have rapid heart rate you should look for medical help ASAP.
4149717 tn?1389503561 d be laying down and it felt like my whole body would contract sometimes. Stretching and getting my heart rate up seemed to help, but time is what did it. Swimming and jumping on a trampoline for a few minutes was about I could do, but I generally felt more relaxed for awhile after. Hope it gets better soon.
Avatar f tn Thanks for the reply. It's not me that's using, it's my spouse. I'm just really concerned.
1888430 tn?1322319949 I have not been doing any excersise because i have a sever sharp pain in my right side thats been there quiet sometime and no doc can find the problem. It comes and goes and unfortunatly has to be here during this time to where it makes it hard to even sleep. With my side and sweating so bad at night. When I do sleep I wake up soaked from sweat. wonder how long that last?
Avatar f tn usually 100 or more. Once treatment was done, my heart rate gradually got back to my baseline (60ish) and the noise went away. I have read of others having this side effect during treatment also. I believe it has to do with the anemia which is brought on by treatment.
Avatar n tn BTW - the person has a history of heart failure (30% squeeze of the heart today), renal cancer is in remission and had a few areas on the lung, of which most have been targeted via laser (today, only one is supposed to exist), diabetes, weakness of muscles and experiencing extreme fatigue (sleeping most of the day), issues with trying to get food down them on a consistent basis. Any help you can give is appreciated! Thanks everyone.
Avatar n tn I have Hep C type 2b and I wondering what the clear rate is. I don't know how long that I have had it. I had a bad case of Hep and was in isolation 35 yrs ago.
Avatar f tn Good luck. I have just spent a week of horrible side affects, increased heart rate and increased BP, tingling, numbness in feet and fingers, bloating and nausea and basically, so tense that my chest and back ache. This switch was from Metoprolol ER 50 by Wockhardt which worked beautifully, to the one by Dr. Reddy from India which caused the above. Spent the day getting my doc to put me on Brand Toprol XL.
Avatar f tn I have been getting strange pains in my head right above my temples in my sinuses and right after that my heart starts to pound. I have to stand up and walk around until my heart slows down. My head pain usually starts around 3:00 p.m. and lasts until I got to bed. I do take Ambien at night which seems to help because it slows my heart down. I have a friend who is a chiropractor who said he thinks I have sinus tachycardia.
Avatar n tn t drink caffeine, and have been waking up every night with rapid heart rate, nausea, shakes and bowel movements. I just wake up and my hearts beating faster (113 bpm). I try not to move much and breathe slow and my heart slows. Then I feel nauseous and terrible and sometimes my body shakes. I go to the bathroom and then after a little while feel a little better and I go back to sleep. Then about an hour later it happens all over again. It normally happens about throughout the night.
Avatar m tn Narcotics also would get my heart racing. I had to take Halcion, Tramadol, and antihistamines at the same time to make myself sleepy.
Avatar f tn I have RAI more than three months ago and I still have heart palpitations. Just recently, I had outpatient surgery and my rate was between 105-110. The nurse asked if I was scared and I told her about being hyper and the RAI and she stated that was the reason for heart palps. I go to my pcp just to get my heart rate checked and it still high. My allergist checks my heart rate before giving me the allergy shots. Sometimes, I get anxiety and brain fog so bad that I have to leave work.
Avatar f tn I take lamictal, trileptol, trazadone, ambien and a heart med called zebeta a beta blocker used to treat y high heart beat and heart rate. All ive been taking lately has been my ambien and half a trazedoe at night,..... Any help would be appreciated.....
Avatar f tn To top this off, I am a very light sleeper and have to use earplugs and white noise in order to fall asleep. My doc gave me Seroquel and it works great, have been on it for about 7-8 years. I do not take it every night because of the weight gain. I also take over the counter stuff when I dont take my seroquel. I was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari malformation about 3 years and had surgery to help treat it. I get really bad migraines from my chiari, especially if i cant get enough of sleep.
Avatar m tn I think you already gave yourself your own answer........no food, caffeine, stress and a dentist appt.? Ouch!!! Keep an eye on it and my heart doc always says if you can feel your heart listen to it and if you need to make the call. Atypically we shouldn't ever feel our hearts unless we stress them thru exercise or the post you made above....you sound like a normal human to me and a lucky lucky person but......
Avatar f tn I would go to bed and wake up in the middle of the night and my heart rate would be 130-140. I would vomit, get really sweaty, and the following several days I felt like I'd just run a marathon. Then it would happen all over again. The doctor put me on Atenolol (a beta blocker) and I have not had the episodes since.
Avatar f tn The Ativan is much more addictive than the Ambien, and you're taking it daily. Voice your concerns about this as well. Do you really need it twice every day, or can you take it just when you absolutely need it? Have you learned any relaxation techniques? If not, a CBT therapist should be able to teach you some.
