ambien

It would be hard to tell which drug is making u feel like this, but from my experience of taking both at the same time like u are, I would say it is more the ambien. Maybe try a few nights of no ambien and see if u start feeling better? And then figure out a way to taper off the xanax.
Our 30 year old son has CP and Aspergers. He is on Ambien for sleep, Concerta and Zoloft. He has recently been experiencing some muscle aches and tingling in his muscles. He has also had some confusion and forgetfulness. Finally others are noticing he looks extremely tired although he says he doesn't feel tired. I am wondering if his medication could be causing his problems or if we should see a neurologist.
I've noticed increased seizure activity and forgetfulness. Also, irritability and nervousness. Has anyone else had this or similar experience? Also, if so, what/if anything helped?
I have also been noticing insomnia (waking up after about 4 hours of sleep and staying awake for several hours nearly every night), fatigue (less emotional resilience to stressful conditions, decreased motivation and energy for work, some memory problems, mostly word-finding, and forgetfulness) for about 9 months. At the end of January, I was let go from a high stress position that required travel and am currently unemployed, between homes, jobs and city.
Does it cause the same kind of problems as ambien? I have taken ambien once a week for 2 years and now I feel a fog in my brain and major forgetfulness.
After two weeks he called me in and said he was sure I had FMS. I has never heard of it. He gave me vicodin and ambien and referred me to a "rumy". I didn't care for her. I was there for only 10 minutes, she said she had read all my test results and touched me in several places. Then told me I would never get better and I would never feel any better than I did today and it would only get worse. I went home and cried. (I now know she was just being very truthful).
I was prescribed Topamax along with an appetite suppressant (Adipex) for weight loss a bit over a year ago and stopped taking them after two and a half months. I did not lose all of the weight I had wanted to, but most of it. I had gained 55 pounds while on Paxil over the course of two and a half years. By taking a combination of the two medicines, I lost 22 pounds the first month, 10 pounds the second month, and 8 pounds the first half of the third month.
• Some people using this medicine have engaged in activity such as driving, eating, or making phone calls and later having no memory of the activity. If this happens to you, stop taking Ambien and talk with your doctor about another treatment for your sleep disorder. • The sedative effects of Ambien may be stronger in older adults. • Ambien may impair your thinking or reactions. You may still feel sleepy the morning after taking the medication.
Welcome to Part 6! Please make yourself at home!
I started on an antidepressant, Citalopram 20mg daily, and Ambien 5 mg. daily. I started in college and I am having some of the best times (I'm 54). I have been very successful, Presidential HOnor roll, difficult classes, etc. I have been on these pills for almost 2 years. The citalopram has a disclosure that it can cause sleepiness. My older brother said when he took Ambien it made him lose his memory. I am starting to struggle with forgetfulness. I want every edge I can. I am worried about.
Yes, I have tried ambien, and ambien CR, and had to discontinue/stop it due to having long laps of forgetfulness. Not good! I tried Lunesta, and it is ok, however, my insurance won't pay for it, and I can't afford it. SO the doc thought this Klonopin would do the trick, but I didn't expect tears. Maybe it is relaxing me enough to release tears for all the high stress I am going thru!!! didn't think of that until reading all of the above. Thank you everyone for your assistance.
I took Wellbutrin for 7 years and stoped last year and have severe withdrawals for a month and a half), insomnia (I can't even go to sleep so the doc gave me Ambien- I don't want to get addicted to that), I am sooooooo irritable.....etc. I have no desire to take another Vicodin so no worries with me. I just want to be back to normal and enjoy life agin. I have two young children that need my attention all the time which makes it hard.
The doctor has me decreasing my antidepressents (medicine and pills were making me bipolar), I am know taking 100mg of zoloft and 200mg of lamictal. When will this manic and losing my mind (forgetfulness) go away? What minute I am doing something and the next I am staring off into space and have no clue what I was doing. I have to make a list just to remember to go home and eat lunch and do errands. How long does it take for dopamine to come back?
I have been to about 30 doctors- including ENT's allergists, neurologists, chiropracters, opthamologists. psychologists, dentists and everything else u can think of. All CT scans, MRI of brain and blood work keep coming back clean and ok. Nothing I try seems to work. There was a period of time about 3 and a half years ago that the symptoms lifted for about 4 months and then it returned full force.
Although not similar in chemical compositions, Amberen does promotes healthy sleep cycles and improve memory and forgetfulness. You have nothing to lose with Amberen AND they have a risk-free trial. Good luck!
I dragged myself into the kitchen, like a starving woman, and I ate and ate and ate. I was literally shoving food in my mouth -- like a pig. Two cups of yogurg, a sweet potato, banana, nuts, milk, three pices of toast, a great big cookie, some salsa and hummus with vegies, and I toped it off with carmel, ice creme that my neighbor had given me, thinking it would be a nice thing to do for me, and bless her heart, it was, but it makde me so sick, later.
Fentanyl, morphine, oxycdone, OxyContin, and more (except methadone,) Neurontin, Ativan, Ambien and others I can't recall. Neurontin caused me to sound drunk, even at low doses. I also had a ton of procedures. I always had a fabulous memory and with my friends from elementary school, I was always the one they'd ask if they bumped into someone or who was in who's class.
Zolpidem (Ambien), Methylphenidate (Concerta), Clonidine, and Strattera. First, I do not believe my son should have ever been diagnosed w/ ADHD, I have done the research and written a paper as well as currently going through a publication on an article with my wife (not my son's mother) who is an assistant professor of counseling mental health.
I do not take any illegal drugs and the prescription medications that I take on a regular basis are AmbIen for insomnia and Tramadol for chronic pain. I have been on both of these medications for four years and the symptoms that are worrying me began 4-5 months ago.

Good Morning Tramadol Warriors! Welcome and we're so very happy you found us. Please make yourself at home in Part 31 ...
Taking muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatories, anti-depressants AND Ambien to sleep. I know the depression came about from the pain. I too feel stupid. My brain just isn't functioning the way it used to which is depressing me. I'm stressing myself out at work worrying about making mistakes. I know my colleagues have noticed the change in me. Which makes me more depressed. I really thought I have ADD and am also taking Adderall XR right now.
Morning Buddies, Tramadol Warriors new & old! Welcome and we are delighted to see you! Please make yourself at home.
And for those who suffer from UARS, this is the primary reason why they’re not getting the deep and restful sleep that they truly need and desperately desire. It’s taken for granted that all humans have rigid, open windpipes that allow air to pass easily from the nose through the lungs. What’s unique about the human upper airway, however, is that due to our unique ability to talk, our voice boxes are much lower down, underneath the tongue, which forces the tongue to rotate backwards.
Hi everyone! Welcome to Part 14! Please come in and make yourself at home. We're all glad you made it here.
I also currently take 20 mg of Prilosec for Acid Reflux disease and 10 mg of Ambien to sleep. In the past I have had gall bladder surgery, double hernia, throat dialations, numerous concussions and lymph nodes biopsyed. I have so many symptoms it's not even funny, but I wanted to get any intake on this information without giving any symptoms to see what everyone thought. My typical day; I wake up exhausted, but feel better after waking.
hey - just as an aside...serzone does not cause weight gain and i had no sexual side effects, just drowsiness & forgetfulness. i actually lost about 20 lbs while taking it and never re-gained it (i am 107 lbs 5'4") in 5 yrs..so IF and i say ONLY IF you find it impossible to continue with your situation without the temporary intervention of anti-depressants, serzone might help but i developed an allergic reaction b/c i was taking xanax too so had to come off it..
When I hurt him, it causes drama and when I feel drama, I cycle the experience over and over in my mind and can't sleep all night even though I take ambien. I pray to God that when this is over (26 more weeks) that I will return to normal, be SVR, and all this will simply go away.
I take Ambien (zolpidem) nightly and have been taking it for about 5 or 6 years. Ambien comes in three strenghts - 5mg, 10mg and a controlled release formula that is 12.5. I was taking the controlled released one (12.5) for a while until my insurance decided it was no longer going to cover that one (because that was the only strength that a generic form hadn't come out for), so my doc had to switch me to the 10mg that does have a generic form available for.
