Avatar n tn All depends on where you live I got a 4D for $50 in redondo beach, California when visiting my family when I came back to ohio the closest one was 2 hours away and $200 it was insane Thankfully I had to go to the hospital for all my ultrasounds and the nurses loved using the 3D anytime they could I had like 4 there
985127 tn?1254100862 I am now 15 weeks, sick as a dog, but still pg! I have a friend in the OC, Newport beach area who is about to embark on this journey and is looking for a good fertility center or specialist. I can't remember where everyone is, but if you in that area, can you send some suggestions! Cheers, oh in a non-alcoholic way!
Avatar f tn Melanie, aw what part of California? I was born n raised in Southern California, redondo beach. Now live in ohio with my bf and the weather is sooo different here I'm not a fan. Yeah I think I'm just gonna switch sides on the bed with my bf I'm facing directly in front on the ac and I want him next to me so it'd be best to switch sides!
Avatar m tn I was a the beach yesterday and I developed a blotchy rash on both of my ankles and some spots on my one calf. When I was young I always tanned very easily and was out in the sun a lot. As an adult I don't lay out as much and don't tan as quickly. In fact, when I do lay out, I still tan but I ankles don't tan at all. It looks really strange too. It is like I was wearing socks out in the sun. I wonder if I lost my melanin in that area and that is why I burnt yesterday.
Avatar n tn I think you have an environmental allergy. I too am allergic to sulfa. I got sun poisoning when I went to the beach, but do I blame the beach -no. I know what caused it -the sun. If this reaction only seems to occur when you go certain places, then it would be environmental. See an allergist and have them do a skin test on you. You could also have a blood test called a RAST test for environmental allergens. I really hope you find out what is causing this.
Avatar f tn m having contact patch testing in two weeks. Could this be a systemic allergy? My dermatologist seems convinced that this is an external contact allergy since we have ruled out any meds that could cause sun sensitivity.
Avatar n tn I sometimes get hives when I shower and I always get hives when I go to the beach. Is it possible that the hives from the shower and the beach are an allergic reaction to sulfite? I gave up drinking my tap water long ago because it caused problems with my bladder. Could a sulfite allergy be causing bladder sensitivity? I appreciate any input. Avatar m tn Im 17 and for a couple years now whenever I get wet, including shower, pool, beach i get these red itchy bloches on my chest, ribs, neck and sometimes arms. This is very annoying and Im not alergic to Water and it's not the soap or water...Im going to college in a month and I can't have this. Please Help!!!
Avatar n tn They disappear when i am sleeping and when I take allergy meds they fade away a little bit. If I go to the beach or take a hot shower they tend to get very red and the numbers multiply. It seems to be affected by the heat. They do not itch nor bother me besides the discoloration of the skin. I feel it has something to do with my allergies, but everything I take( Benadryl, Zyrtec, even some allergy cremes) only seem to stop it until they wear off.
Avatar n tn My pediatrician wants me to take my son for allergy testing, but his only symptom is coughing. He has no other symptoms, has had a chest and sinus X-ray, which were normal. He has had antibiotics and steroids. The cough has not gone away. Not sure why he thinks it is an allergy... Please advise. Thanks!
Avatar f tn Allergy testing in children is not terribly reliable, my son's doctor says. She says they can come up as sensitive to something that in real life they don't actually react to, and not show as sensitive to something that the parents know from observation that they are allergic to. She says it is better to just observe carefully, and test by experimenting with one food at a time.
Avatar m tn Not sure if this is what you are experiencing but maybe it will help. Maybe the allergy testing itself would help you to find out if an allergy is causing your symptoms. I hope you feel better soon.
Avatar m tn No need to be nervous, you passed those real nervous-making milestones a while back. Hope you made it to the beach for vacation again this year and that the kids are alright.
