681148 tn?1437661591 t add hair fixatives to my hair and scalp. I typically add olive oil, coconut oil or jojoba oil after I wash my hair in the shower. I've been taking extra B vitamins, too. This is really driving me mad, because it's making me miserable.

Avatar n tn I recommend using Now brand Jojoba Oil! I f you can't find it in your health food store or cosmetic store you can buy it online! All you need is one drop in your palm to do your hands. I start using it before the winter starts as my hands would get chapped and I would get fingertip cracks.
Avatar n tn Try jojoba oil (pronounced ho-HO-ba) You can buy it at any health food shop. Provides all day moisturization jojoba oil doesn’t evaporate like water based moisturizers can. Very stable jojoba oil does not become rancid or lose antioxidants even after long periods of storage. Spreads well and absorbs well. The organic variety is free of pesticides, GMOs, and is sustainably farmed.
883279 tn?1244102594 Hi, if you would like to use a natural product to help fade acne scarrring or repair sun damaged skin, then look for an oil that has Vitamin E (or even break open a Vitamin E capsule and smear it into the damaged skin). My favourite is Jojoba Oil which is high in Vitamin E and suitable for all skin types.
Avatar n tn s caused by the cold weather! Go to your health food store and buy Jojoba oil put a drop or two in your palm and add your hand cream and rub it in. use it at least 2x per day. P.S. when you wash don't use hot water as hot water dries out your skin use luke warm water.

Avatar m tn I have one spot which has a slight outline around it w/what my dermatologist calls hypopigmentation. I was thinking about trying Ginger Essential Oil blended w/either JoJoBa or Coconut Oil, or Coconut Oil by itself. I have also read about things like Turmeric, Red Clay or even Nigella Sativa Seeds/N. sativa, Sappinda and Saffron. Some of these ingredients are in a product called Vitiligo Green. Has anyone ever heard of this product and is it effective for hypopigmentation?
Avatar n tn I have to use mosituriser on my penis to keep it healthy etc, I am only comfortable using natural products. I was wondering if Jojoba Oil is safe to use down there, Ive had bad experiences with creams etc in the past and just want to know if this is safe to apply a couple of times per week?
7998970 tn?1435183202 Then rinse in warm water and apply some facial lotion or a little jojoba oil. Never have dry skin, the jojoba (after using for a month or more) keeps my face from getting too oily also. It got rid of every little bump and blemish and even reduced some scarring I had. Sorry this comment is so long! But I really really recommend this method of exfoliation.
Avatar f tn The problem could be with your shampoo. Try using a different brand and some oil on your scalp. Jojoba oil or olive oil is recommended. Some have tried tea tree oil - but it's so very strong and smells awful. My mother had some success with olive oil. I hope this helps. Give your body some time to adjust to the birth-control shots. The more you worry, the more hair will fall. also, don't use a sharp comb - try a softer hairbrush a natural one if you can afford it.
Avatar n tn You might have to find a chap stick that contains jojoba oil and beeswax. The beeswax doesn't go on wet like the other chap sticks on the market and the jojoba oil is healing and soothing. I have a friend who sells such a product but I don't want to advertise on here. If you want her Manly Man chap stick post on here and I will give you her store site.
Avatar f tn What to use? I'm hesitant to use vegetable oil...mine is offbrand and is made from soybean oil and I don't want anything getting infected. Any suggestions?
Avatar dr m tn Ok I found a cure I use either jojoba oil or baby oil and put a few drops on my index finger and push it in my ear swish it around no need to put it in side the ear drum area just right in side OMG after 2 years off suffering this has totally stopped it, I may have to do it daily or weekly depends on the weather or what I eat I think.. I wish you all good luck!!!
4447476 tn?1399396565 ve heard that your supposed to use extra virgin coconut oil. . I have just normal coconut oil. . Does it work the same? I haven't used it yet Cuz I wasnt too sure if it would work the same as extra virgin Coconut oil.
4461129 tn?1354930630 Just glad the cortizone cream helped. I keep a lotion on hand that contains jojoba oil and beeswax. For some reason I find it very soothing on all kinds of blisters, bites, eczema, and strange rashes... it stops most itches and I guess the jojoba oil contains something that negates or draws out the "poison". I hope your neck rash continues to diminish until it goes away! Good health to you!
8365413 tn?1407251515 Oh lord that's sounds like a lot of work. I think I might look into doing it.
Avatar n tn I would recommend a good lotion that contains jojoba oil. In the meantime, try to find out by process of elimination what you might be allergic to. And remember, you can become allergic or sensitized to something overnight. I would suggest an allergist, since there is no rash. A dermatologist needs to "see" something. (speaking from experience).
