15695260 tn?1549593113 Weather can impact this but I am sure I am not alone in suffering from seasonal allergies. How do you manage your allergies? When are your worst times of year? And I should not have been surprised by the preseason allergy attacks as it as predicted. Do you stay indoors due to allergies? What about sleeping with your windows always closed? https://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=221107 This article suggests that this is important.
746512 tn?1388807580 My hunch is that it is a dust mite allergy because their house is quite dirty (pretty gross actually), and this is the first time in months that my allergies have acted up (dust mite and cats) but they go down when I go home for a couple hours to play with my two cats. Although I am due in a week for my allergy shot sooooo might just be that. Thanks for the tips, I'll see what I can do.
440120 tn?1211724496 t uncommon for people to develop allergies later in life. One explanation is as you get older, your system works less efficiently, suffers small breakdowns, and allergies develop. There is also the possibility that due to air quality and pollen counts (both seem to get worse every year), you may be having a reaction where you didn't before. Also, it's commonly said that you develop allergic resistance to your own pet. After some months or so, your body will build up an immunity.

Avatar n tn Talk to her dad. Even if you both don't get along, you have a daughter to take care of. its best to figure out whats going on and if that doesn't work take it to court, your daughter needs a warm bed to sleep in.
Avatar n tn it may also be mild allergies, even if you have never had any allergies your body can become sensitive to allergens at any time, you can try a small dose of anti-histamine w/out risk because it will do nothing but perhaps make you slightly groggy if you are not having an allergy attack it sounds a lot like the onset of hay fever good luck
Avatar f tn I'm 14 weeks and my doctor told me I was fine to take regular Claritin as long as it's not Claritin D.
Avatar m tn My mini daschund has been licking his paws like crazy. In between his paws are sores that are beginning to look pretty bad. Originally he only had one small irritated spot on his paw and the vet thought it was from his nail irritating it. Now he has about 4 sores and is constantly licking them. I figured that the sores are allergy related, so I gave him some children’s allergy medicine.
Avatar f tn A knowledge about aeroallergens present in your geographic location and the allergens in your home and work areas is essential in this process. There are many allergens present in your surroundings. Unless you stop further exposure or unless you take measures to minimize the exposure, medical therapy will be not enough.
Avatar f tn I don't even know what that is. I'd check hospital policy but if you have a family history of allergies to it, I doubt they'd force you to give it to your baby. I take it you're planning on a home or birthing center bIrth? Hopefully you don't need to transfer! Good luck mama!
Avatar n tn Then, if you can find a start time, ask what changed at that time. The simplest case would be your changed your macro-environment (moved some where distant or moved into a new home... started using some product... ) that could be the cause. Yes, I assume both you and your doctor(s) have also considered this, but still worth an additional effort, maybe write thing of change down on a timeline/calendar, maybe with just a month by month, not day by day.
4456535 tn?1355894638 Ashers that's true I heard to put it in your fridge and it absorbed any bacteria so it should do it for that.
Avatar f tn Anyone else have their allergies act crazier than usual while pregnant? I'm about 4/5 weeks and I'm sneezing a lot, my nose is stuffy & runny,I'm coughing and I just feel blah! I was taking Zyrtec and Nasonex spray, but recently stopped when I discovered I was preggo. I just got benadryl, gunna give it a shot tonight. Would rather take something that won't make me drowsy though.
1232362 tn?1333135406 Would benefit Spirit and the boys immune system. If you look back at a previous question of yours (on your Home page at the bottom, you will find your questions) and suggestions from Opus (I think it was Opus) with the best brands you can buy online and not expensive at all. Poor little girl.
Avatar f tn Hi I came across you post, I used to work for a vet dermatologist. I know how expensive allergies can be to control. Some pointers for you to think about. Diet could be a cheaper answer in the grand scheme of things but to do a true elimination diet you have to try a food that has a limited protein source and make sure that there are no hidden ingredients that could be causing the diet to not be a true elimination.
2218623 tn?1355278513 My doc said tylenol and sudafed were just fine.
Avatar m tn t make you feel good, even with the air cleaner! Because the synthetics in your home contain toxin, which wears your immune down some all the time, and thus causing you to feel tired. You must be acidosis most of the time girl! And thus less oxygen to the brain and body. And also, you will thus have aches, and muscles aches and tightness. And your nose and eyes and everything that your immune usually can fight. Because your immune is always compromised!
Avatar m tn Clearly, you require an albuterol emergency inhaler (not the epinephrine sold in the drug stores). Your physician may also prescribe anti-histamines and prednisone for emergencfy use. "Cheaper and convenient" have no meaning for those in the grave.
20801560 tn?1512718136 Oh, I do know that food allergies can cause weight gain in certain people, especially if it is wheat. Allergies are hard to detect at times and can be hard to control.

874521 tn?1424116797 yes FBM I also do chemical free cleaning in my home, I don't know if this in itself is what lead to Sami eosnophilic plaque finally clearing up or if it was getting off the poultry in his diet.....but something maybe both is what worked and I'm not changing a thing I'm doing..
Avatar n tn At home in the States, I am used to living in very healthy clean environment. I have always eaten all organic, naturally raised crops/animals from nearby farms. As far as cooking, I always grill, roast, or boil. I am careful to clean often, using a vacuum with an allergen reducer/HEEPA filter if I recall correctly. No artificial cleaning sprays, candles, etc are used EVER.
