Common Questions and Answers about Allergies houston

allergies

Avatar f tn I am considering moving back to Houston for a job opportunity. However, my husband has allergy issues at times in certain parts of the city. We currently live in the Dallas area. Some parts of Dallas he has problems in other parts of town don't bother him as much. Can anyone tell me what areas in the Greater Houston area are more allergen free? Thanks!
Avatar f tn Hi ladies, I'm currently at 8 wks and I got the allergies today it ***** because I've been sneezing way too much is that ok? It will not do no harm to the baby? Any recommendations to make it go away.
Avatar f tn Lived in Houston at the time, sinus infections were 1 every 3 months at least. I moved to a small country town in 2005. Had septoplasty to repair deviated septum. had allergy testing done and allergy shots. It was 6 months before I had a sinus infection after surgery. I have used NeilMed saline rinse for 6 years, and it truly cleanses the nostrils. I am a faithful uses, morning and evening. I have daily headaches, I sleep elevated. I take Zyrtec at night.
471161 tn?1317190950 I have a question. I live in Houston Texas and we just had hurricane IKE come through here. I have never had an asthma attack or been told I have any breathing problems but we had no electricity for three days and one night as we slept with the windows open I woke up in the middle of the night gasping for air. I felt like my lungs didn't want to take in any air. Is it possible to have an asthma attack brought on by sleeping with the window open or from the weather?
Avatar m tn The breathing trouble and sniffling occurs more so when I am moving around. I have been allergy tested and found that allergies is not the issue. I also had a CT scan done on my sinus area and was told it was clear. I would like to mention that I had deviated septum surgery about five years ago. These issues are really starting to affect my quality of life, and feel I feel hopeless. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Avatar f tn Hello i live in houston...
Avatar m tn I have always felt tired and fatigued and I have always felt like I have had some trouble concentrating at school and at work, but things have recently gotten a lot worse. I moved to Houston temporarily about a month and a half ago and ever since I have been feeling very bad. It started with severe lack of concentration and fatigue at work, but it quickly developed into feeling physically bad also. I wake up feeling achy and slightly feverish with the sweats.
Avatar m tn i talked with another lady who said her headaches were gone pretty much instantly after her cyst was drained. do you have allergies at all? allergies can give you a constant mild headache if not treated. you are taking a steroid which helps with inflammation -probably sinus inflammation- and when you don't take it it can make the headache come back if the underlying cause of the headache (ex: allergies) is not dealt with if that makes any sense.
Avatar n tn I asked a research friend of mine who posts on one of the kidney communities here if she has any info on this. My daughter used to get pain (probably IC) from food allergies which were severe intolerances that she eventually outgrew and grew into bee sting allergy and severe environmental pollen, etc.
