Common Questions and Answers about Allergies headaches fatigue

allergies

Avatar n tn I have missed work today because of this, it gets really discouraging to think I can do nothing for this. I have alot of mold allergies, in addition to other allergies. I take the usual itinerary of allergy meds that are available. I did shots for 2 yrs without alot of success, I suspect due to the high degree of mold allergies I have. I am not especially sniffly or sneezy or drippy at present. Just dealing with a great deal of head pressure, fatigue and dizziness...
Avatar f tn Hi, I have frequent headaches and left ear itching plus constant fatigue. I am taking Ferrous Sulphate which helps a little with the fatigue. I also have thrush which doesn't imrpove with typical Canesten/fluconazole type treatments. Any help would be great. Thank you.
Avatar f tn My allergies have affected my life to the point where I can barely get to work. It isnt the runny nose, or the itchy eyes or the headaches.....its the severe fatigue. I feel like I have the flu everyday. I have been getting allergy shots for almost a year, I have tried various medications both Rx and holistic. My PCP has no idea what to do, my allergist is clueless....I have heard about the Kenalog shot and am so close to getting it but am afraid of the side effects.
Avatar f tn I have terrible allergies and get headaches and migraines fairly often. Since my bad allergies cause things like fatigue, foggy concentration, head/sinus pressure it is hard for me to recognize any other symptoms I may be having due to this mysterious lump. I am pretty concerned about it but am hesitant to bring it up to a doctor in case I am over reacting.
Avatar m tn yes, allergies can definitely trigger headaches - I suffer from Migraines and if my sinuses or allergies start acting up it will trigger them
Avatar f tn I had chronic respiratory issues when I developed a bad allergy to the grass in the hills around my home. The headaches, dizzyness, and fatigue could be symptoms of allergies, but it is hard to imagine that you could get them every single day. They could signal an autoimmune disorder. Do you have any other symptoms, such as light sensitivity, rashes, joint or muscle pain? Have you been evaluated for ME/Chronic Fatigue?
Avatar n tn My primary symptoms are daily fatigue/malaise, intermittent headaches (temple and bridge-of-nose), slight nasal congestion, eustachian tube dysfunction, and lightheadedness. I often feel feverish, but whenever I take my temperature it is normal (98.4). I also occasionally get an itchy throat, burning eyes, dry mouth, increased thirst, and frequent urination. On the other hand, I never sneeze, never have a runny nose, and have very little post nasal drip.
Avatar n tn I keep getting dizzy and headaches and fatigue. All the time though. I had a doctor treat me for sinus infection but it never stopped the symptoms. He checked me again and i didn't have an infection but i felt like it for months. What do you think it is?
Avatar f tn I have fatigue, headaches, monthly migraines, lightheaded, a bit dizzy at times, and at time nausea. Years ago I had a brain MRI / 8 protocol with & with out contrast. Also went to an ENT, Neuro -Ophthalmologist, Blood doctor, & dentist/ specialist. Recently I have had a sleep study, which showed mild apnea, went to an ENT and had a CT scan of my mastoid & sinuses- I suffer from allergies badly, but that looked good. I also go to a neurologist every other month, but not much change.
Avatar f tn ve been experiencing increased fatigue, problems sleeping (over and undersleeping), and headaches (I have only had two or three headaches outside of a cold/flu otherwise in my life). I've had knee jerks, developing into full body jerks in the past year. I have had chronic rhinitis (my nose is *always* running) though don't have allergies or any further symptoms associated with allergies.
Avatar f tn m wondering if the headaches/fatigue are related to the anxiety, or if all these things are being caused by some medical problem?
Avatar n tn All these features are typical of migraine headaches also. Migraine headaches usually are described as an intense, throbbing or pounding pain that involves temples, retro orbital or forehead and change sides from one attack to the next. Nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, facial pallor, cold hands, cold feet, dizziness and sensitivity to light and sound commonly accompany migraine headaches.Even if your tubes are tied, tubal failure and ectopic pregnancy are very common.
Avatar f tn Do you live in a area what is hot, do you have allergies? Allergies cause headaches, around the eyes, forehead, temples and sides behind the ears too. Fatigue, sleepiness, and a hang over feeling or fogginess. It can also cause you to think slow, and have no motivation. Allergies can develop overtime or suddenly, my brother is 31, and he just had allergies to pollen for the first time in his life.
Avatar f tn The dr told me that he noticed polyps reforming and suspected that I have allergies. I was tested for allergies via skin test and ended up being allergic to almost everything during the skin test. I am 3 weeks into starting allergy shots. I'm not noticing huge differences with the shots. It is now 4 months since my surgeries and I have started back up with headaches, a sore throat, and low-grade fever. I'm still blowing thumb-sized chunks of dried snot out of my nose daily.
Avatar n tn Can one experience "late-phase" allergy symptoms like malaise, fatigue, headaches, Eustachian tube dysfunction etc. without EVER experiencing "early-phase" symptoms like runny nose, itchy eyes etc. ? I do occasionally have a scratchy throat, but this is very seldom. I have been experiencing these "late-phase" symptoms for several months now, and was recently diagnosed (via skin ***** test) with allergic rhinitis to dust mites and pollen.
1110676 tn?1265812109 hi. im not diaganosed to have asthma, i've done lung tests and came out fine. but i do want to know if i have allergies or asthma because i get bad reactions when i'm exposed to dusts and smogs. i feel warm, i get fainting spells, headaches and difficulty of breathing and my chest feels like heavy.. i've been suffering from chronic fatigue and panic attacks.. how are these connected with my symptoms and what are alternative solutions for this? thank you.
Avatar f tn Hi, i have been suffering with blocked nose and headaches for the past 5 years. I have done a septrum operation but no change. I have visited an ENT recently and was told its allergies, however don't know what I'm allergic too due to visit an allergist soon. However lately I've been feeling tired, light headed at times, blocked nose, dry mouth and wake up during the night out of breath. Do you get these symptoms?
1606324 tn?1298293871 Many people think they are experiencing sinus headaches and issues when they are really experiencing migraines. Migraines can be triggered by allergies. It sounds like you have had migraines in the past and that they are a possibility for you now. Some things you can try are sinus rinses and a different antihistamine. Many patients and doctors think that loratadine is pretty close to a placebo. Zyrtec or its generic may work better for you.
Avatar n tn I have noticed that when I focus on the throbbing I tend to get tense, clenching my jaw, and raising my shoulders. This might be causing the headaches. I would like to know if this could just be psychological or linked to some other condition. I am an 18 year old male with mild social anxiety. Thanks in advance.
Avatar f tn He has decided its non-allergic rhinitis. Psychiatrist friend said the headaches are most likely tension headaches from the extreme anxiety I've been experiencing lately due to a friend's death. I'm prone to anxiety and I get Botox for tension headaches but am several months over due. I'm not sure why I didn't consider this before. My mind is all over the place. Sorry about that. Thank you so much for the input!
Avatar f tn The doctor told me to not worry more than likely not but they have to do it just to rule it out, everyone around me seems to think it is allergies! I have had allergies in the past as of with dust and really itchy eyes but never has it made me dizzy like this but I guess allergies can do that to you, has anyone experienced this?? I'm so worried!
