I am a 26 year old female who a year ago started getting horrible facial acne but only on the cheeks and in the past year has experienced a unexplained 10 pound weight gain with no changes to her diet. I do work out more then I used to but the weight gain is all in the stomach and uneffected with exercise or diet.
A year later doctors tell me " I'm 26 my metabolism has slowed down. " and that was my PCP, gynecologist, and a gastro doctor.
for a while, and have been consistently experiencing symptoms that I suspected might indicate hypothyroidism (extreme weight gain, fatigue, dry hair, low body temp averaging 97.1, amenorrhea, etc), so I had a thyroid panel done in order to see if that might be the problem. The only medication/supplements that I take are allegra for allergy problems that I have suddenly developed and a multivitamin. I have not gone to the doctor yet, but I have an appointment next week.

Also, get an ultrasound of the thyroid.
People with thyroid disease are commonly low in B12, iron and D3 vitamins. Low D can cause terrible neck cramping and muscle spasms all over the body.
Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.

In the first place Zyrtec tends to make you drowsy and Allegra tends to perk you up. It would be pretty weird to take them together. I take Zyrtec daily and when my allergies act up I take a single dose of Benadryl which is short-acting. that works well for me.
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I'm 36weeks pregnant and since my last doctors appointment I haven't gained any weight. I didn't gain weight in the 1st trimester due 2 sickness, but in the 3rd I've been pretty steady with my weight gain...at the very least a poun a week. And now it's been almost 2 weeks and still no weight gain. Could that mean anything? Or is it just normal? Thanks in advance!
I believe that prevacid can cause weight gain ..seems so many babies are now diagnosed with reflux we used to call it cholic and wait for it to pass now seems they put them on meds.Still your doctor would know the answer, I think its the meds and whilst you child ius on them he may gain weight.good luck once he is off the meds he may go down to a normal weight.

So Im 18 weeks and I dont usually update my weight on this app, but I decided to do it this week and I've gained 17 pounds! Is that a lot!? Cause this app thingy says "excessive weight gain" and my sister gained a lot of weight during her pregnancy and she ended up having a c section because my nephew was 10 pounds! :( Should I be worried?
