Allegra d and high blood pressure

Common Questions and Answers about Allegra d and high blood pressure

allegra

Avatar f tn I would stop all medications as soon as possible and if at all possible. If you blood pressure goes up after stopping you should start the Allegra again. This would also be a good indicator that the blood pressure is allergy related. Of course ask your doctor if it is all right to stop any medication. When the allergies pop up try to take some collagen. I would also recommend to stop eating all wheat, rye, and barley for one month to see if it helps.
Avatar f tn I was sent to l&d yesterday by my ob because my blood pressure was high it was like 149/94 and i had protine in my urine. Im due tomrrow and just worried because i know shes not going to come and they said i wont be induced untill sometime next week and i woke up with a pressure headache feeling like im going to vomit.
9095217 tn?1408287670 High blood pressure is not good for you or baby. So going in would be best. How far along are you? If you're over a certain week they may for the sake of baby's health take em out. Good luck. But go in.
915119 tn?1341948989 if your blood pressure is too high it restricts the blood vessels and can stop baby from getting enough blood and oxygen. if it gets extremely high it can cause seizures. are you seeing spots or having blurred vision? I agree with bjbbeauchamp, try nor to stress! and if it goes up any more then go to L&D! its better to be safe than sorry! I have had HORRIBLE swelling in my legs for months now, but no protein in my urine until the other week.
Avatar f tn Yeah I would esp with the elevated BP readings and the headaches. They may want to monitor you because of that. Please call your OB.
Avatar f tn Last night my blood pressure and pulse got high. ( sys: 175 dia: 144 pules: 100 ) It went down after another dose of Enalapril, but my pules was up and down all night. My speech was weird ( i was pretty tired and hadn't slept in a while.) and my mouth was getting very dry. Laying down made my feel like my pulse was getting higher. For the past 3 days i have had bad diarrhea, which burns something awful and is mostly yellow liquid. The corners of my eyes have been hurting as well.
Avatar m tn Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.
Avatar f tn I have had high blood pressure through out most of my pregnancy i am now 35wks. I started swelling really bad last week and at my apt yesterday my blood pressure had jumped even higher to 156/90. My mid wife didn't seem concerned at all she just re took it and made my appointments weekly now. I can't seem to get rid of a head ache ive had for a couple days. Should i be worried???
4610518 tn?1361075748 I am over 100 days clean and my BP is still high. I had a baby 3 years ago and she was born 6 Weeks early due to pregnancy induced hypertension. My bp did return to normal after a few months and I never had any issues while on the pills. so just wondering if this is a possible aquired side effect from long term use of pills possibly???
Avatar f tn I have bad allergies so I take Allegra and over the past 5 years I have had several sinus infections and I have been on several different allergy meds and antibiotics. I started acupuncture this year and no sinus infection so far and I have cut all meds but Allegra out and found that even when I was not taking anything even Allegra that I was still so very tired and sleepy most every day which is why they did the EBV test and several other tests.
Avatar f tn First I will start with the history. I am 28, male, white, 6'2, 275. Daily medicine is Omeprazole taken everyday for 3 years and Allegra everday for 2 years. Two years ago I started to have migraines. The first one I had was in the middle of work. It just came on out of nowhere and didn't last long but returned a few minutes later. Which began a cycle of what I thought was cluster headaches. I would get stabbing pains for about a minute or two then a few minutes of relief.
Avatar f tn I was induced with my daughter at 36 wks due to high blood pressure. Was in labor for 39 hrs and my daughter had to be resuscitated at birth. However, she is perfect and I do not regret being induced. My bp got so high I could have lost her and myself.
Avatar f tn I recently noticed a drop in my pulse rate and blood pressure that is proving to be sustained. My resting heart rate was previously in the low/mid 80s and now it is between 50-65bpm. My blood pressure was considered prehypertension to high and now is generally running between 115/65-125/80 with a couple systolic drops below 110. My oxygen is remaining between 97-99 with periodic exceptions of low 90's, particularly while laying down.

Avatar m tn Also do these basic blood tests Vitamin D. Vitamin B12 and Ferritin. Out of these Vitamin D or 25-hydroxy Vitamin D3 test is very essential as over 90% of hypothyroid people are usually low on this.
Avatar m tn If you can afford to (sort of pricey at $20 for a 2 week supply) I would get Claritin-D or Allegra-D. They have an antihistamine as well as a decongestant. You have to get them from a pharmacist (behind the counter) and show your ID. I take Claritin-D daily for the same symptoms you have. I get bad headaches at night and my nose gets stuffed, with sneezing and runny eyes. Since starting Claritin-D, I no longer have that problem unless it wears off before I go to bed.
Avatar f tn 2 mm Hg in systolic blood pressure and of 0.5 mm Hg in diastolic blood pressure (1). These trials were designed for a short follow-up duration. Most evidence on the relation between coffee and blood pressure stems from cross-sectional studies. This evidence, however, is inconsistent. Some of these studies showed a positive relation (2), no relation (3), or even an inverse relation (4). Such cross-sectional studies have important limitations with respect to causal inference.
Avatar f tn which they say is getting high...and that he may not wait past 38wks to take the baby...especially if bp goes up..anyone elsr dealing with bp problems?

Avatar n tn I have had issues with my ears for about 5 months now. I do have allergies (hay fever, mold, pollen, animal dander). I had fluid in my ear, pressure, and it squeaked when I swallowed or yawned. I went to the doctor, that told me to take decongestants. I took decongestants such as pseudoephedrine, Allegra-D, Claritin-D, etc, for months, but they didn't help. I was given two different types of steroids (pill and nasal spray) that got rid of the fluid, but not the pressure or squeaking.
Avatar f tn So last night I checked my blood pressure and it was 162/111 and I didn't have a head ache or anything and now this morning I'm feeling a little out of it it's like I'm seeing little sparkles and stuff what should I do?
11803947 tn?1430842645 That doesn't do anything to me ;/ I was on high dose with allegra, zyrtec, atarax, and a few others and the sprays before pregnant. Over the counter med doesn't help but thank god today got better after the bloody nose.
