allegra

I have a blood pressure monitor and my blood pressure was high. It lasted for ten min. Is this one of the side effects of allegra?
the next time you visit. About 18 percent of those with high blood pressure can eliminate the high blood pressure with calcium supplements. This should be tried before resorting to pharmacological intervention. That statistic came from the data provided to the FDA for a calcium channel blocker when they were applying to the FDA. I wrote part of the NDA (New Drug Application).
I was put on prednisone for 6 days after I went into shock from the first med. The 2nd thru 5th meds took anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks to rear its ugly head and make me have similar reactions that if left untreated would have put me back in the e/r. I am a very highly stressed individual! Hence, the high BP. I run about 140/90 but, I am watching my BP now since off meds for that during allergy testing. I'm about 150/92 in the morning which is usually a higher reading time...
the doctors usually persribe clonodine to help with w/d's...it lowers blood pressure....when our bodies go through w/d's our blood pressure goes up pretty quick, and causes most of the symtoms, hot , chills.....
Last night my blood pressure and pulse got high. ( sys: 175 dia: 144 pules: 100 ) It went down after another dose of Enalapril, but my pules was up and down all night. My speech was weird ( i was pretty tired and hadn't slept in a while.) and my mouth was getting very dry. Laying down made my feel like my pulse was getting higher. For the past 3 days i have had bad diarrhea, which burns something awful and is mostly yellow liquid. The corners of my eyes have been hurting as well.
2007 and since have had pressure on my head mostly when lying down, high blood pressure (never had before), and an overall feeling of fatigue - taking a few naps during the day which I never did before!

If you blood pressure goes up after stopping you should start the Allegra again. This would also be a good indicator that the blood pressure is allergy related. Of course ask your doctor if it is all right to stop any medication. When the allergies pop up try to take some collagen. I would also recommend to stop eating all wheat, rye, and barley for one month to see if it helps.
I have had 2 bacterial infections in the past 6 months and apparently I have bad allergies so I take a pill 120mg dose of mucinex every 12 hours instead of an allegra 180 mg dose every 24 hours and I started feeling much better after switching to mucinex. The problem with mucinex is that I feel like my brain is getting "cleaned out when I take it". Of course that is not happening in reality. There is probably some piece of crap still in my sinuses somewhere.
Pressure in face and ears Sharp pain in ear once or twice a day Some pressure in area behind ear going straight down neck behind ear Burning/tingling sensation in tongue Burning sensation/pressure in nose near eyes pressure felt in teeth and gums Now for more background. I take Exforge for blood pressure (have taken this for years), Nexium, and a Generic Brand Allegra. Went to my GP regarding the problem back we hen it started.
They did an XRay of my chest and said it was migraines(after not doing anything for my head) I went back on the 16th because my symptoms were the same and I noticed my right pupil dialates more than the other. I had blood work and a non contract CT of the brain done. Findings showed a sinus infection. I was prescribed Amox-Clav. After almost a week of my symptoms not changing, I went to my doctor. She did a basic neurological exam and checked my pupils.
I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and chronic rem sleep deprivation at 51. CPAP has elminated high blood pressure, use of statins, helped me lose 40 lbs, eliminated years of acid reflx and losec, night time urination. I could go on and on. All of this led me to ENT where I finally realized that I had a long term sinus problem that may play a significant role in the apnee. I use NeilMed sinus flood sinus rines twice a day and its a life saver.
I have been tested for almost everthing under the sun. mono, HIV, Std's, Auto immune, complete blood work which all has come back normal. 4. I've seen serval doctors and no one can really tell me why I have this systemic rash. I've been on Allegra for about a month now which helps the rash go away quicker but does not make it stop. 5. I think i have so sort of contact dermatitis and dermagraghic urticaria. also my body marks very easy.
In addition to the blurry vision, dizziness (I felt drunk), I had tachycardia -which caused low blood pressure- and a stabbing pain my chest! I also had episodes of intense joint pain. The numbness in my fingers that started back then is only now slowly getting better. I've been checked for pretty much everything and the doctors haven't found anything causing the symptoms.
The next three days went by and I was fine. On the fourth day at work I was sitting at my desk and started getting this pressure in my head, not a headache, I can only describe it as if there are two balloons on the sides of my head being inflated. I stood up and immediately felt like I was going to topple over. I then went to the emergency room where they did a CT scan and some blood work and said perhaps it was an inner ear infection and to follow up with my primary if it continued.

I am also heeding the advice and going to start using afrin as soon as I am done with this Sudafed nasal spray, the doctor said not to use it bc it raises blood pressure but it cost like 10 dollars and there isn't that much of it left, so I use it daily in one nostril only.
I can't postulate a connection between your various conditions and I can't comment on your high blood pressure without more information on the actual blood pressure readings. If you are taking an inhaler called Albuterol (Proventil), it could cause your heart rate to be elevated. I suggest that you have a thorough evaluation by a good general internist to get to the bottom of your problems. I hope you find this information useful.
They did bloodwork that came back normal. Since that time I have had daily head pressure and tinnitus. The tinnitus comes and goes and can be really loud and annoying. Visited another doctor in Sep who thought it might be an allergic reaction and was given zyrtec for a month. No change with the head pressure. Saw an ENT in Oct who feels that it just a left-over from whatever made me ill in Jun and thinks it will get better with time. Have had this for 5 months.
-constant head pressure, all around my skull and base of neck -facial pressure, but comes and goes -ear pressure, with tinnitus and 'fullness' -headaches, with numerous intensities on different sides at different times -TMG, with jaw hurting when I chew -eye vision becomes blurry, feeling of eyes jumping and bulging out -constant fatigue, wake up feeling like I've been hit by a truck with body aching and joints aching especially in my back -poor blood circulation, extremities get tingl

I'm a 26 year old male and since October 2006 have been experiencing 24-7 sinus pressure in the upper corners of my nose (always one side at a time), but NO allergy symptoms (i.e. no running nose, sneezing, coughing, itchy nose/eyes/throat, etc). The pressure is so bad that it presses back onto my brain, causing terrible lightheadedness, forgetfullness, and general mental impairment.
Cold was different from anything I had experienced in the past. Felt more like sinus pressure in my head mixed with a cough - but with no wheezing or throat inflammation. I went to my DR and he said it was a cold also - and just to take some Zytrec or Allegra and drink fluids, etc. It went away maybe 1 week ago (after 3-5 days). I was feeling fine for a short while, then all of a sudden it hit me again... 2-3 days ago while at work.
Hello, I'm sorry you are not feeling well. If you were my patient I'd give you the following advice. If you are on blood pressure medication, you will have to avoid decongestants such as Sudafed, but if you are not on blood pressure medications I don’t see an interaction here with Warfarin. If your sinus issue is due to allergies, I’d suggest an antihistamine such as Claritin, Allegra, or Zyrtec, or the Walgreen equivalent that will save you some money.
For several mornings I have to clear my throat, and the roof of my mouth is very tender, when I try to clear nasal passage through mouth I have severe bleeding, this area is very tender and raw feeling. I have to apply pressure bandage to stop bleeding. I take Allegra allergy medication, and Nasacort nose spray. What can I do to stop tenderness and bleeding, and could this be infection?
Do u have normally low blood pressure? also are you taking clonodine? I always had low blood pressure so when i was detoxing it did go up , but not to bad, i used the clonodine and took my pressure pretty regular....I didn't want to take the clonodine if my blood pressure was to low... Just keep checking it, i am not a nurse but that seems pretty low...
The problem remained mild for 13 years and I was told 5 years ago to have an echocardiogram every 5 years. Five years ago I also hurt my nose playing basketball. Fearing the corrective surgery to fix my deviated nasal septum, I have taken the above mentioned decongestants for five years. My recent echocardiogram demonstrated severe aortic regurgitation, thickened intraventricular wall, dilated left ventricle, dilated aorta etc. I have not had high blood pressure over this time.
Also if i lean against something I will get a raised rash the size of the area that pressure was against. I went to the Dr. and they ran all kinds of blood work, all normal or negative except slightly high on the liver test. The Dr. put me on Allegra 60 mg. once a day which controls it fairly well for most of the day. So, basically Itchy hives, swollen lips(occasionally) and big hives where pressure is exerted against my skin.
