Common Questions and Answers about Allegra and headache

allegra

Avatar n tn Both are mainly used in treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria. Headache and drowsiness are side effects seen with loratidine. Whereas headache and vomiting with fexofenadine. Both are quiet safe and any one can be used for which consult your local health care provider. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn At maybe 18 hours my rightside of my lower back of my side was a little pain their however, I dont know if its a symptom becasue I could have been sitting wrong on the couch. After 24 hours I had headache again and seems every time that I would try to lay down for bed I would have some head pain in the back of my head like where my neck and ear are and have abnormal breathing. Like symptoms would act up if I would lye down.
Avatar f tn My Dr told me I can continue to take my allegra. And im now 24 weeks and my little man is just fine.
Avatar f tn s a constant cycle. Constant headache behind my eyes and sinus congestion. I take Allegra D for sinus and Bultalbital (prescribed) for the headaches, but it barely takes the edge off. Been dealing with this for years... hopefully the ENT will have some answers I can share. Good luck to you all!
Avatar m tn Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.
Avatar f tn The dr prescribed Allegra, singular, Flonase and Asteleine nasal sprays. I am not having any relief. I was on the Asteline sir 2. -3 weeks now and the other 3 meds I just started. 2 weeks ago I had a ctscan and it didn’t show an infection. My teeth didn’t hurt then just had a headache and pressure. About a week ago my teeth started hurting and my dr will not prescribe me an antibiotic. Will the meds that I’m on cure a sinus i ection if I have one??? I can’t take this pain anymore.
Avatar f tn s also related because if you have allergies, fluid can build up in your ears as well as mucous that runs down the back of your throat causing itch, cough, and even pain at times. If you have no other symptoms, like headache, fever, fatigue, or nausea, an over the counter decongestant allergy medication may help you...like Claritin D or Allegra D...always buy the generic versions of those to help save you money, because they are quite expensive for a month's supply.
Avatar n tn My oldest son is on Risperdal,as well as three other meds. He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all.
Avatar f tn She will generally go to school with a headache and seldom comes home early. But if she begins vomitting during the headache, she usually misses at least 2 days of school. It seems that her more severe headaches are accompanied by vomitting and they last 2-3 days. We had one week where we went to the DEM on Thursday where she was given IV benedryl and compazine and 2 lortab for home.
Avatar f tn All I do is drink warm water with lemon and honey I did some neti pot morning and before bedtime and took a warm bath morning and bedtime.
Avatar f tn ve never had a fever or headache with any of this. I have started to take my allegra again and today I started coughing up a little mucous again and my nose is running again. Can someone please tell me if there's an order I need to take these meds in or suggest anything I could do? I also need.
Avatar f tn Hi, How is your daughter? What were the initial diagnostic tests done? Seeking another neurologist's opinion and asking for referrals to local headache centers that focus on cluster headaches may indeed be helpful. Cluster headache usually responds to similar migraine preventative drugs and can often be brought under better control temporarily by steroids or nerve blocks.
453255 tn?1205792176 Yes, the medications I take for my allergies and asthma daily are: allegra (24 hour), singulair, alvesco, oxeeze, rhinocort, sometimes ventolin, and sometimes benedril.
180992 tn?1383374057 Advice given about getting ear plugs for my extreme tinnitus and compression hose for the Petechiae rash to Allegra/Zantac for the hives and so many other tips not mentioned by the Doctors. It's so nice to hear this is going to be a cake walk in comparison to interferon. If any irregular events happen I will share here. I so appreciated this forum during my last treatment. and will report in and follow during my new treatment. We are here helping each other. Thanks to everyone.
Avatar f tn s when I decided to try the Allegra for the Paxil, problem. Just to let you know, I ended up taking 1/2 of an Allegra and the symptoms went away again. I woke up this morning feeling fine. The zaps usually start late in the day and are not bad. Just to reassure everyone....I have a doctor appointment Monday morning at 9am!!! I will not, however, take another Paxil! Thanks for all you help and input..
Avatar f tn I have been getting treatment for asthma for over three years now....neublizer w/xopenex...flomax, advair, asthmanex, to name a few...I am still coughing like crazy. I had allergy tests and have been on Allegra and a nasal spray....no relief. It appears that all of a sudden my throat is dry and has a "catch" in it and I start coughing and then water pours out of my eyes and tons of mucous pours out of my mouth.
Avatar f tn A UTI could cause elevated BP, headache (migraine), dizziness, body aches, ect. You should contact your doctor to be sure your on the right antibiotics to take care of the infection. Hope you feel better soon!
Avatar f tn t know names of medicine but u could try lemon, honey and garlic tea for the sinus headache. The garlic should clear it up. Heartburn I eat tums but it doesn't always work :( A warm rag on ur forehead could probably help ur fever and even a headache. If ur google natural ways to get over sinus headaches or fevers while pregnant u should find a lot of suggestions. Just giving u different options since ur doctor's not helping.
Avatar m tn I am having cold problem from last 20 years. Now from last 8 years I am facing headache and clogging of cold in sinus passage. I do have cold and dust ( old accumulated dust) allergy and hence if I do some cleaning of old articles or spend more time in water, I get immediate cold problem. Cold accumulates for 2-3 months and then headache starts. Now days I also get pain back of my head, ears or some time below ears and jaws back side. Can anyone guide me about treatment for such sinus issues.
Avatar f tn I am dying of a 48 hour allergy attack! Clarita does NOT help and the only thing that did before my pregnancy was Allegra.. I am 24.5 weeks along, could I get away with a dose?
Avatar m tn Allegra D the one that is two colors tan and white will do that....I read it somwhere but can't remember where.
Avatar f tn Ah, relief !
1402935 tn?1281958699 I tried just general Benadryl and had the same reaction. Red face hard to breath through the nose. I was recently prescribed Allegra and am nervous to take it as it looks like it has a lot of the same medication as benadryl but stronger. Are these medications the same? This discussion is related to Post-Nasal cough?.
Avatar f tn Benadryl is safe.
Avatar f tn My dr today told me to treat my sinuses when I get headaches and Tylenol doesn't work. She said try claritin and if that doesn't work then Allegra. She said all the extra fluid that we accumulate during pregnancy pools into free space such as the sinuses. I'm gonna try it.
