allegra and claritin together

Loratadine is considered a placebo by many doctors (and many patients that I have talked to). Zyrtec and Allegra are good choices. Since Allegra just came OTC, it will be much more expensive the Zyrtec generic. I take Zyrtec. Take care and feel better. God bless.

Benadryl is safe.

I was OK to take Allegra. Ask your Dr. But I know Allegra is safe as well as benadril. And claritain. When in doubt ask a Dr.

I would try some OTC allergy meds like Claritin or Allegra. If you can afford to (sort of pricey at $20 for a 2 week supply) I would get Claritin-D or Allegra-D. They have an antihistamine as well as a decongestant. You have to get them from a pharmacist (behind the counter) and show your ID. I take Claritin-D daily for the same symptoms you have. I get bad headaches at night and my nose gets stuffed, with sneezing and runny eyes.

My doctor told me that zyrtec and claritin are ok but not allegra. If you perfer natural remedies, chamomile tea, vapor rub, hot chicken broth with a little cheyenne, lots of fruits and veggies-especially vitamin c. Netti pots work great for sinus problems, just make sure to use distilled water.

I use zyertec and benadryl. My doctor has said they are both safe. Check with your doctor they should have an approved list of meds you can take.

I have bad allergies which is causing the coughing and they said I can use Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Claritin does absolutely nothing for me, so I asked what about Claritin D and it has been linked to birth defects--- so thats a no... I tried zyrtec and still no relief... my body is intolerant to Allegra... so I just have to suffer until baby is out and I can go back on my allergy shots (which will be after I stop BF'ing)--- the worst part about it...

I am 14.5 weeks pregnant. I have had problems with congestion since 8 weeks. Since about 11 weeks, it has been unmanageable. I have done sinus rinses, nose strips, sudafed, benedryl at night, vicks rub, and zyrtec. I can get about two hours of sleep at night before I wake up with my nose running and nose clogged. My husband has started sleeping the guest room because I keep him up at night. I tend to go through a roll of toilet paper blowing my nose in two to three nights.

Claritin, benadryl, Allegra, and zyrtec are all safe for your entire pregnancy.

I have really bad allergies and can usually get away with just Zyrtec but this year they are way worse and my doc told me to switch it up and try Claritin or Allegra the Allegra seems to work the best when I also take a sudafed but don't take the combo one just plan Allegra and plain sudafed.

I usually take Allegra at night for allergies but I picked up generic Claritin at the dollar general and took it last night. I woke up twice during the night with diarrhea. In the am I was nauseous and achy but went to work where I started to feel so dizzy i almost blacked out several times then threw up. After that I felt a bit better but still not 100%. Could this be a reaction to the Claritin? I've taken it before but not in a long time. Thank you!

My dr recommended claritin but you can take allegra too.

Should I stop cycling all together or just go easy? This is prime riding season and hate to miss training, but sure don't want to make matters worse. thanks!

They prescribed some Desonide ointment, atopiclear, and allergy medication, which was allegra. Before that I was taking Claritin and Benadryl, and neither helped. Then I went to an allergist, he ran some tests, and found out I was allergic to dust ad that was pretty much it. He prescribed me more allegra, and then on my second visit prescribed me singulair and then also gave me instructions to change my diet, soap, and detergent. None of this has worked.

Check with the doctor but he will more than likely firmly recommend Claritin and warn against Benadryl. keep us posted.

t take Allegra anymore, nor Claritin, nor Aerius or Zyrtec. Also, no Sudafed and ones like that. He said I really shouldn't take anything with a heart arrhythmia, except to use a saline nasal spray from the pharmacy. That doesn't do much, but is better than nothing. When I get congested, my ears plug and I get dizzy. I really wish I felt I could safely take something, but am afraid to do so.

I'm about giving up. I cannot breath. Can I take zyrtec, claritin or allegra.

have not tried claritin in a while...got zyrtec-d...tylenol sinus...polyhista.something...allegra-d...mucamist....will try the claritin...yey...maybe I need some expresso....

It could be that I sit on a chair and get hives on my thighs or open the fridge and get hives on my hands. I've gone to a dermatolagist several times, but even after a scratch test and everything, we've found no reasons for my random breakouts. I'm currently on Allegra and have been for years. I've tried claritin, zyrtec, etc. I need to know what ttis is and how to stop it!

The only thing you can really take is Tylenol and if you have allergies you can take Claritin and Allegra... I have really bad allergies and Claritin doesnt work for me and I'm intolerant to Allegra... I was on a prednisone steroid shot for them but cant do that again until im not pregnant or BFing... so I have to suffer through it :( best of luck to you and I hope you feel better.
