she confirms that it is severe burns from the Aldara on my labia and I also coincidentally have a yeast infection occurring at the same time. She gave me Difuclan for the yeast infection and Percocet to take to manage pain. My question: how long can I expect the extreme swelling/burning to last? The medication is helping with pain management, but I can't go to work this week like this, as I can barely move let alone use a public bathroom without being in physical agony.
I went to the doctor, and they gave me Aldara for HPV. This was in January. Since then, I have had the worst yeast infections, and while one bump is slowly decreasing in size (and has hardened and turned quite red in the process), none of the others are changing size at all, and I am getting more tiny little white bumps within a few inches of the initial three bumps I had. I am pretty sure it is HPV, but it seems to be geting worse. I have been tested recently for HIV, and that was negative...
t give me a good diagnosis and just said it could be a wart and the red dots could be a yeast infection. he said give me 5 minutes and i can take care of it for you but at the price of 250 bucks i was not trusting this dude cuz he looked money hungry. especially since he said it could be a wart.
Well anyways now those little red dots have gotten a bit rougher but they are single tiny dots and are really small pinkish whitish colored.
i went to the doctor but the ulcers went down she swabbed inside of my vagina and it came bak neg, im so confused because shesaid somtimesa yeast infection can cause a rash on my inner thighfits a really bad yi and thats were it was at. im very confused and i get depressed somtimes. have anyone ben through the same thing using aldara and still get rashes about one month after? and they come and go help.
I'm a 36 year old Indian American female living in NYC who has not had sex for the last three years. About a year ago, I was diagnosed with a mild case of genital warts-10 or so (likely from my last partner from three years ago but unsure). I had unprotected sex with him a couple of times during our relationship and later I found out he was rather promiscuous (now I regret this).
Even after I take a shower it will come back a few hours later. I thought maybe she had a yeast infection or something and maybe I somehow got one, so I used some yeast infection cream, but it didnt help. Within the past two weeks, I have also noticed these very small, slightly raised, brown spots popping up along the base of my penis. Im guessing this and the odor are connected... I'm wondering if this is my herpes virus coming back or something else.

I was prescribed aldara about 4 weeks ago but was not able to use it continuously because I also get the doctor to put podophilin on the warts when they are visible and that sometimes cause the irritation of the area, hence, I had to stop aldara for a few times already when that happened. I had my Pap Smear done 2 weeks ago and the test result was negative. I also had Gardasil vaccination last week.
My questions are:
1. My gyno confirms that I don't have any warts inside my vagina.
Symptoms are still red inflammed penis head, over sensitivity, and pain in and around urethra opening. She said it was probably a yeast infection, so she gave me one pill of fluconazole 150 mg.
Two days after taking that, I noticed the skin started to dry up, flake off and heal up under the head of my penis, but the redness and inflammation on the head—the over sensitivity and pain in the tip of my urethra didn’t improve.
d have a higher risk of getting an STD if the area is not covered by a condom. Aldara makes the skin raw and in my opinion will likely make it more susceptible to transdermal infection. My opinion is also that you should just stop Aldara treatment and try electrocautery or even natural remedies (which have worked for me)

I started to get these red sores on the head of my penis about 3 months ago. They seem to be spreading slowly. I have been to the doctor three times. I don't remember what I was prescribed the first time but the second visit I was prescribed a yeast infection cream that didn't work and now I have been using an expensive cream called
(Aldara 5%). I am using it as prescribed, 3 times a week. I have applied it for 3 weeks now and I see no results.
Hi I've been using Aldara for 3 applications now for what I believe are genital warts under my foreskin just below the ridge, they are only small. Up to now nothing has happened, no reaction, no itching no reddening of area nothing at all. I was expecting some sort of reaction or change with it being such a strong medicine. Is this normal?
Hi. I used Aldara for two weeks and my warts went away. I didn't have to scratch or scrape. I don't think you should puncture them at all. The cream caused some severe skin reactions for me (and it was on my bum :( ) so I stopped using it two weeks in for about a week and then when I went to start applying the cream again the warts were gone.
So, unfortunately I was diagnosed with genital warts a little over a month ago. I thought at first the warts were just right outside of my vagina, but after inspection, I'm realizing that I think there are some inside... not substantial though.
I'm EXTEMELY PARANOID THOUGH.
I was perscribed Aldara Cream for my external warts. I dont feel like they are spreading but I'm really not seeing much improvement with the warts.... Honestly I'm not really sure what to expect........
If you don't thnk your doctor is giving you proper care, get a 2nd opinion. Molluscum can spread. It typically isn't painful. It also typically doesn't get infected.
A womans vagina needs to stay in balance as for as bacteria and yeast. If she does have a yeast infection it means there is too much yeast. Is she on any medication? Did they say it was indeed a yeast infection? If so, then yes, you two are passing it back and forth to each other and you need to also be treated.
It really sounds like she may need to see a different Dr.
i used aldara and the symptoms went away. i figured it would just stay kind of dormant for awhile but i dunno.
i made an appointment with my schools campus doctor and now it's just to he point of being really nervous. if it is herpes...idk. :\

She told me nothing else was wrong with my anus and sent me on my way - with a prescription for aldara. I started using the aldara that night (friday). A week later I was still having difficulties and went to another doctor. This doctor gave me a thorough exam. He found two large fissures at the entrance of my anus and prescribed a cream to help them heal, he also told me to increase fibre. I asked him to look at the warts - he told me there was no evidence whatsoever of warts.
They are very small but many clustered with a few random ones on the lower part of my penis that popped up as recently as this week. I have been using Aldara for about 4 weeks with little skin reaction at all (not even redness). I have a two part question.
1. In your experience have you noticed Aldara be less effective depending on what part of the genital region it is applied? PI indicated 33% total clearance in males. I don't seem to be reacting to it at all.
