Had to call gynecologist over weekend and she recommended I come in today if pain had gotten worse. Obviously I stopped using the Aldara when these symptoms started, but they have since gotten much worse since ceasing the medication. Had an emergency visit to my gynecologist today: she confirms that it is severe burns from the Aldara on my labia and I also coincidentally have a yeast infection occurring at the same time.

dont use aldara. I think ACV even does better than aldara although some people here would disagree with my opinion. You can get mini surgery like electrocauterization, cryotherapy, or use podofin and its variants. These three, afaik, are better than anything else to treat warts.

I used aldara with great success. However, I have read it has a higher success rate in females than males. Still, I do not know how credible this information exactly is. I found using Aldara to clear up the majority of warts, and then using a different treatment (such as cryo) to clear any remaining warts seemed to be effective. You can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lump persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a gynecologist as you may need incision and drainage. Also then herpes sores should be ruled out. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. Hi. I used Aldara for two weeks and my warts went away. I didn't have to scratch or scrape. I don't think you should puncture them at all. The cream caused some severe skin reactions for me (and it was on my bum :( ) so I stopped using it two weeks in for about a week and then when I went to start applying the cream again the warts were gone.

I'd still say it could be a reaction to the Aldara, and how you are using it. You will just need to wait and see what the test results say.

ve had reactions to the aldara cream but now those are pretty much under control. My concern now is that when I pull my foreskin back to clean myself, it ******* hurts. its like its swollen, somewhat-dry, and it hurts. I've heard horror stories of men having to be circumcized because of complications with the foreskin. Should I be putting on lotion? anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

Mine returned 7 days after warticon, few but in different places. Just had them frozen off (surprisingly pain free and easy). I have Aldara on standby. The wart doctor specifically told me that they shouldn't return. Go without sex for 3-6 months. If no warts appear in that time, they have cleared. I do not need to inform future partners. I queried this strongly and he was adament in his statements. He said he had been treating and researching such cases for 30 years.

I went to the doctor, and they gave me Aldara for HPV. This was in January. I applied aldara (imiquimod) to the shaft of the penis in an attempt to get rid of what I presumed were penile warts. About a week after use, I developed well localised red and swollen skin on the head of the penis which then ulcertated and has been slow to heal. I have not been herpes positive before and dont think I have had recent contact with any herpes positive partners.
