i would stop the use and the redness/ swelling would go away and i would contine use and everything would be okay. recently i bought an aldara imitation cream, not the same brand name as aldara and have been experiencing more of a rash like reddish irritation where i use the cream. when i stop using it it will almost go away totaly but when i start back up using the cream the same rash in the same place will re appear.
so im not sure if its the cheaper cream or if i have herpes.
t have a big quantity but I can notice that every month a new one comes out. They told me to treat them with a medication called Aldara, but it is very expensive, so I bought a generic medication from India, which is called Imiquad manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. I am using it 3x a week. I know the treatment is slow and that I am not going to have fast results at all. But my concern is, is there any way to prevent new warts from coming out?

Aldara is $40 with my insurance, the generic is $10...I think without insurance it is over $200 but not sure. I did acid treatment once a week for 4 weeks and that was my $25 co pay each time. I don't know the costs of any of the other treatments and all insurance is different. So far HPV has cost me $200, but if I didn't have insurance it would have been a lot more.
I don't know any natural treatment. I am not drinking, don't smoke, I eat very healthy and take vit's.

My question concerns Synthroid.

ve taken, both, generic levothyroxine (T4) and liothyronine (T3), as well, as brand name Synthroid and Cytomel. I did better on on generic levo than I did on Synthyroid...
I've been taking generic liothyronine for over 5 yrs and have done just as well as I did on Cytomel.
I don't think you'll have any difficulty, with generic T3, but if you do, you can always go back to Cytomel.
and after 2 weeks use i have had good results so far so if i were you i would go see your dermatologist if he recomends surgery set the date for about 1 1/2 months away and get them to prescribe you aldara in the meantime. use aldara and within 4 weeks if the warts have not reduced in size or started to clear then just go in for surgery.
I take synthroid and was wondering if the generic is just as good? Someone told me to never take the generic so I pay extra for the name brand. TIA!
ve been taking the generic for about a week until my new prescription for the brand name arrives. I have had diarrhea for two days. The only thing I've done differently is take the generic drug. Do you think this would be causing the diarrhea? If so should I just not take the medication until the correct prescription arrives?
I have recently been using Aldara cream to try and eliminate my genital warts (HPV). Although the warts minimised in size after three months my doctor told me to stop using aldara because of the ineffectiveness and incredible sores and lesions that i endured whilst treatment. He reccomended me to a dermatologist for the treatment of the HPV.
If you are required to take the generic, find a generic that will work for you. The name of the lab is always on the bottle. And be SURE each time your scrip is filled that the same lab produced it.
Everyone says negative things about generics. And sometimes it is warranted. But not always. For instance the generic of claritin and some heart and blood pressure drugs makes them affordable and they work fine. My husband gets generics of a lot of his meds and he does very well.
can anyone explain the difference between the brand name Lexapro and the generic brand? i was reading your posts. my boyfriend was on the brand name lexapro and switched to the chemical brand in June. since then he has been spriraling downhill, out of control is there that much of a difference in brand name and off brand?
