Avatar n tn About an hour later, we fed him dinner and when eating he began foaming at the mouth excessively and then began running through the house like crazy as fast as he could. Again, all of a sudden he was fine. Then about 12:30 this morning he needed to go out to potty and then when we came back in he had the "seizure" (for lack of a better word), foamed at the mouth, and then began running again. He runs for about four minutes and you cant catch him or get him to slow down.
Avatar n tn Ok, toad killing... That just makes me sad. Anyway, my mother has cats, and she lives in New Mexico. One of the cats got those frogs every now and then. The first time, we were afraid, because he was foaming at the mouth. We didn't know the foam was what came from the toad. The cat was sick for about a day, more from the taste in his mouth I think, but all in all he was perfectly fine. It wasn't that bad at all.
Avatar f tn Our pitbull had puppies 2 died already n I'm hoping its not happening again. This once vibrant puppy has taken a turn for the worst already he's foaming at the mouth n not eating. I'm epileptic so I'm hoping this is not what he has but I have noticed some similarities. Is it to early to have our puppy checked by a vet? What do we do?
Avatar n tn What could be the possible cause of death if someone dies while foaming at the mouth and blood oozing from the mouth?
672475 tn?1227793166 not even a shot glass... A few minutes later, I puked on the table I was sitting at, stumbled to the bathroom and continued to puke for hours on end... I didn't pass, and I could walk (barley, but could indeed walk), but was obviously very drunk and my only thought was if I was going to die. I ended up getting really really tired and falling asleep. The next morning I obviously had a hangover, so didn't think anything of the dizziness, and confusion.
Avatar n tn My friend died of alcohol poisoning with a BAC of 0.70 does this not seem extremely high, is this possible?
Avatar f tn Foaming at the mouth/tremors! These are symptoms of poisoning!! Your Vet should not have said to continue!!! There's alot going on here & I'm having trouble following it....How old is this dog? Banfield hospitals are notorious for ordering too many tests, guessing at a diagnoses, finding new problems, etc. ! They work on a commission and the company has a set amount that the Vet must make....DO NOT USE ANY Banfield Hospitals. Next--Mange--Was a skin scrape done at either place?
Avatar m tn Could it be reaction of the papillae to drugs or food poisoning. I noticed it when I checked my tongue for the tingling and sensational feeling and numbness I have due to fish poisoning. Grateful if you could help again.
Avatar m tn No,No alcohol poisoning!if u had that u probably wouldn't be here now or still be feeling the very ill effects of that!If after a week you are still feeling the effects of a drunk, that was SOME drunk u tied on!
Avatar m tn My grandmother has never had a drink in her life, but she was a regular at many parties and bars. She has fun without the alcohol. For some people, normal means no alcohol at all. I too suffer from OCD and can understand your obsessive thoughts and how they can take over your life. What I've found to help me is my weekly group (love them) and a journal. A lot of positive talk to yourself will help too. I write almost daily, at least everytime an obsessive thought creeps up.
Avatar m tn Sounds like a bad reaction with another drug you had in your system at the time. 6 oz of beer is not enough to do anything. You symptoms are indicative of another problem and you should see a medical professional.
Avatar m tn itz 8%beer
Avatar m tn When you have a drink again, stick to safe limits, you can find the safe alcohol limit to drink on the web. But even the safe limit of alcohol may be too much for you, so listen to your body too. Also do not mix your drinks, this will make you feel very ill too. I feel drunk after one small glass of wine even when I have it with a meal. And like the previous poster says, eat something first before you consume alcohol and drink plenty of water. Alcohol dehydrates the body.
Avatar m tn Since new years day when i had to much to drink, but much less thereafter, i wake up during the night with avery dry mouth, it feels if my tong is swollen and sticking to the top of mouth, when i then drink water it goes away but returns during the entire night, what can i do?
Avatar n tn The repeated vomiting concerns me and the "panting" part that you describe is concerning, too. This sounds like she swallowed something that she shouldn't have and that the object has become obstructed. It could also, as Mrs. Savas has suggested, be a possible poisoning. The "panting" is actually the stomach contracting trying to empty itself.
Avatar n tn Has your daughter ever had any type of seizures? Salivating/foaming at the mouth can be a sign of seizure activities. But at the same time, she may just be producing extra saliva from teething or being sick or just plain extra saliva. Kids tend to drool during their sleep as well. I'm sure that she'll be fine but if you're really concerned with this matter, take her to her pediatrician. They'll be able to clarify anything that you may have to ask.
Avatar f tn I drank one of his alcoholic beverages. It has been a year since I drank it. The drink he made contains %40-45 of alcohol and I drank approximately 400-500 ml of it. I didn't feel bad that night except being drunk. I slept well and even though I have headache too often, I didn't even suffer from headache that day. The thing that I am worried about, is it possible that the alcohol I drank can be methanol and I survived it?
Avatar f tn She yelped in the middle of the night and then died a few days later after blood foaming out of her mouth and nose? I'm no vet but that sounds to me like an internal injury. Where was she in the night when she yelped? Did you investigate? Could something have fallen on her - or someone have hurt her, like maybe accidentally stepped on her or even kicked her?
Avatar n tn I then washed my hands with the foaming soap and water the hospital uses (with alcohol or something like it) and covered it with alcohol gel, working it into my cuticles. Again, he did not show any signs or symptoms of HIV, and denied any medical problems (other than pancreatitis), even upon a second questioning (about everything, including hepatitis), and was not on any meds. Should I worry, does this even sound like a possible exposure (if he did have HIV)?
Avatar f tn My puppy is 10 weeks old today. He started last week having a seizures, foaming out the mouth, running into walls, totally acting blind, urinating on his self, pooping uncontrollable, an whining. He has his shots at 9 weeks the 10-n-1. He was doing fine up until this morning. Its started over. He is a pitbull. Very fun an energetic puppy. Im just trying to figure out the problem? Or has anyone else experience this?
1344144 tn?1276294397 Hello I have been addicted to isopropynol alcohol for the past four years. I love the way it smell feels and taste. I started off just smelling it and rubbing it on my hands at least four times a day. Now my condition has worsened and I put the alcohol on cotton balls chew it and then spit it out. I never actually swallowed the alcohol only tasted it. Is there a reason why I have this awful craving? What are some of the damages I am causing myself? Any suggestions to stop! Please help.
Avatar m tn My dog began this medicine and within 6 days we noticed him foaming at the mouth. The next day he was foaming at the mouth, coughing, and lost bowel control. The next evening he had two seizures so we took him to the vet. They thought from symptoms we described it was acid reflux. Next night he had two more severe seizures and we videotaped it. They confirmed they were seizures then. We discontinued this med.
Avatar f tn My cat was foaming/spitting out white from the mouth about 6 weeks ago (he's not vaccinated, indoor cat and it just kinda went away and he never did it again) is there a chance my cat has rabies? I have horrible anxiety and I was reading symptoms on rabies and they started to really scare me. I was just in the hospital a month ago because my heart rate hit 190 bpm. They said it was from my lung infection and anxiety, but ever since My anxiety and freak outs get so much worse.
Avatar f tn Well took her to the vet this morning. Stool and urine samples were normal. Full physical was normal. Not lyme dz. Fever of 104.5. She now is sporadically "foaming at the mouth". Kinda foam/sud like saliva then drools like crazy. While this is happening she is freaking out. It obviously scares her. She then poops immediately no matter where she is. Vet said it's nausea. She is still obviously uncomfortable. He started her on a broad spectrum antibiotic and pain medicine.
Avatar f tn I will say for months I have been drinking tons of coffee and alcohol (wine, beer). Hardly any water. I was using my Foaming cleanser with oil free moisturizer. My indoor heat was still on. I was using Thayers Witch Hazel (alcohol free unscented) from about November to March 9. One dermatologist told me one time that sometimes our skin can go haywire. Do you think it was the perfume that did it and permanently damaged my skin? I’m so nervous.
Avatar n tn Firstly, I am so very sorry for your loss and it is a terrible event indeed. Look, mate, I have no clue about what happened to your grandmother and I very highly doubt that anyone here does. You might be better going to the Undiagnosed Symptoms Community, have a look for it and you might have a better whack. I am so undeniably sorry for your loss, but the Communities on Medhelp are designed to look at that one topic and that topic only. Hang in there.
