Are you only eating carbs, whether starchy or not? Actually, starchy carbs, such as corn, peas, white potatoes, white rice, flour, etc should be avoided, or severely limited.

You can use calorieking or thedailyplate websites to check the nutrition for food that doesnt have the info stamped on the package (like 6 oz of chicken, or other kinds of fruits and vegetables) And definitely plan your meal ahead of time by checking the food calculators on fast food/take out websites.

Be accountable to someone and they will help you stay strong and stay motivated. Weigh yourself every day and measure yourself to follow your success. Not recommended to exercise while on the hcg diet other than a nice 30 minute stroll in the evening.

At 35 weeks I started pumping because I leaked constantly and I figured the worst thing that could happen was it would put me in labor, but obviously it hasn't. Avatar f tn You can't necessarily start at 2000 calories, either or maintain 1800 calories... The calculation has to be done before the diet is started, so it can be based on the individual's weight, height and age, then adjusted for activity level. I'm only 5' tall and if I started a diet at 2000 calories, dropping only 500 calories/week to get to 1800 calories and maintained that, I'd hate to think of how much weight I'd gain, when my body really only needs 1200 calories..
Avatar f tn However, I would like to note that 700-800 calories is not enough. You need about 1400-1500 per day. That might seem like it is going to hinder your goal but it will not. As I told another poster, when you do not give your body the calories it needs, it starts to burn muscle and leaves the fat - something none of us here probably want. And it is not going to be easy losing weight when you have 4 kids to chase after, and having children changes your body and metabolism, as does age.

Avatar f tn started working out daily 6 x per week half hr in am and hr in PM. Diet all I did was cut fat to under 20% and calories to no over 1700 per day... some days I am at 11 some 1600 or 1700. One day a week I eat what ever I want. I make sure at least one main meal a week is fish and not more than two are beef. I also eat three "snacks" per day. I use a trainer initially 2x per week and after a month now just once.
