It causes direct vasodilation of the skin, related either to alcohol directly or its metabolite, acetaldehyde. Alcohol is oxidized to acetaldehyde in the liver by alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH). This acetaldehyde is further converted to acetic acid by acetaldehyde dehydrogenase. In some individuals due to abnormal or deficient acetaldehyde dehydrogenase will cause accumulation of acetaldehyde which is a potent trigger of flushing. It is known as disulfiram like reaction.

I'm 20 years old and while I don't drink too frequently (4ish times a month), I have a pretty high alcohol tolerance for my small stature; I've only been hungover once (after a Four Loko...bad decision). What does your family doctor say? Don't self diagnose. Your sneezing could be an allergic reaction to something. Some people are allergic to dust. Your doctor may suggest an allergy test to determine if you have an allergy. It's not adviseable to just " try allergy pills". Some of these over the counter allergy pills and antihistamines are not good for your liver. Find out what is causing the sneezing. A allergy test can be quite helpful.

i get cold that is in the form of allergy (that is running nose and sneezing) almost after masturbation or even if i get night fall. I am 100 % sure about it , if i dont do masturbation for say 7 - 10 days then i dont get cold (allergy that is running nose and sneezing) for that period of time . You can take Zyrtec allergy. Just not Zyrtec D. It really helps!

Is anyone else besides me experiencing a lot of daily random sneezing and stuffiness like allergy symptoms while pregnant???

My daughter has been having a violent sneeze attack for 2 days. She's allergic to fall trees. She has seen 2 doctors and is on many medications but nothing is working. I have searched the internet and have tried all home remedies. Have tried nasal rinse, Hepa filters, vitamin C, nothing is working. Any other suggestions, she's getting in pain from sneezing so much and can't sleep.

It definitely sounds like you could have some type of allergy to alcohol! I have a friend who has very similar symptoms after drinking but his normally starts within about 6 hours of having a couple of drinks. Alcohol allergies at some level is surprisingly more common than most people think. My advice, talk to your Dr. about it just to make sure its nothing more serious ie: liver issues. Good luck!

s called intoxication, not allergy. None of your symptoms point to an alcohol allergy. I suggest you stay away from it. Why make matters worse? Have you seen a doctor for any of these symptoms? Something as simple as an inner ear problem can also cause dizziness. Allergies can pop up out of nowhere. Did you test positive for anything?

Avoid wine and alcohol products if you know that they trigger an asthma/ allergy attack. There are already a number of wines without the preservatives that causes the allergy. But have yourself tested first with what you are allergic to.

I see an allergist on the 28th, but was wondering if anyone has ever experienced tingling/shaking due to allergy/sneezing.

HI, Mar 2018 I was fine. Allergy test revealed Cedar, Elm tree allergen. I began allergy shots, for a month, afterwards I began sneezing up a storm. Developed chronic rhinitis in the process. I've also developed montly infections, non stop since Mar 2018. Was on antibiotics for 4 months straight, last year. This year Feb/March been on antibiotics Amox/Clav. Each time, I complete course of antibiotics, I begin sneezing up a storm !!

Slept like a baby and felt very refreshed next morning, which is unusual. On way home started sneezing, allergy like, not like a cold. 2 days later, still sneezing and dripping but not like a cold. I immediately began having these violent sneezing fits....very messy! And was left with more sneezing all the time, blowing my nose every few minutes, tickle in my nose all the time etc. Benadryl is the only thing that helps but cannot take it during the day because it literally puts me to sleep (I have a 4 year old at home). No way for me to be sure, but I suspect that your sneezing is allergy related and that the fatigue predisposes you to a worse-than-usual reaction to allergen exposure. The other possibility is that your “abnormal sleep schedule” may alter the length of time you are in bed (asleep or awake) and may even change your breathing pattern during sleep resulting in higher exposure to the allergens in your bedroom (or wherever you are sleeping).

So I'm coming down to the last part of my Sub. Taper, I'm on Day 15, and at .5 mg, and I've been sneezing all week. Wow, how we forget about sneezing when we're using.lol. I dont think I ever sneezed once in the past 2 years on Oxy. Overall, the taper has been doable so far. Still not at the energy level I'd like to be (of course). But over time, it will return. Got lots of healing to do. I managed to get some housework done and of course packing.

Maybe pregnancy makes you more susceptible to allergy season Idk but man it's frustrating. Today I sneezed all over my lunch like five times.
