For a growing boy that does not sound great. There are natural anti-inflammatories that actually work better than steroids and which do not harm the patient. The albuterol is OK.

When he was 1 he caught his first cold which started causing wheezing and he had to go to the ER and was given a nebulizer with albuterol.
