I just found out about 12 years ago my mate was unfaithful and i have gotten tested recently with an third generation eia antibody test hiv1/2 with reflexes, a rapid blood test, 4 oraquick home tests and all came back negative. But ive read ur post that some people with aids antibodies wont show on those tests. Im very scared that im in that stage and the tests i took arent sufficient enough to know for sure.
Hi, I would like some clarification. I got some in the community forum but I would like to get a doctors input and I thank you for your great help and knowledge. My exposure happened in April 2012 and I got tested for HIV 1/2 about a month later and it was negative. I was aware about the window period so I waited and got tested at 3 months and 6 months and it was negative.

Hi forum, is getting tested at an AIDS Resource Center safe? I know it is, but seeing others around there that look so sick is kind of scary to me. They took a finger swab of blood from me and later I was writing with a pen there and just was concerned about catching anything from that pen or touching other things. The test would have been reliable and conclusive 90 days or longer after your encounter. You do not have HIV - look for another reason for your symptoms.

Like what test will someone showing advanced AIDS symptoms but keeps testing negative for antibodies. Serereversion in advance AIDS patients is documented. I been having diarrhea, and losing weight, and having many bacterial infections. I had a legit risk with someone HIV positive. Broken condom and even had a brief flu like illness right after. In my mind I had HIV. Did nothing about it for three years. Finally been suffering from these symptoms and decided to get help.
Your question doesn't make any sense. An HIV test will not detect chlamydia. An HIV test will only detect HIV. Furthermore, you don't test for AIDS because AIDS is not the virus, it's the syndrome that occurs after one has been infected with HIV and is dying from complications of HIV.
Your test will be 100% conclusive and accurate. Any HIV antibody test done 3 months after the last possible exposure is conclusive. I would say that 13 YEARS later, it would be conclusive :) The only diagnostic test for HIV is an antibody test.

Can you tell me more about the testing that you had done? Can you get a copy of the results so I can look at them and help you sort out the results? There are many herpes antibody tests around, some good, some terrible, some individual, some combined. If you post them, I'll help you more.
