I am 34 I have had the same sex partner for over 2 years. I get tested every year for STD's and HIV. This January I was diagnosed with HSV-2 my HIV test was negative. I have had no symptoms of HSV-2 but my doctor prescribed Valtrex. In March I began to have pus-like pimples on my scalp and face it drove me crazy for over a month. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with folliculitius and was given steroid and abx for 2 weeks.

first test is at 3 weeeks negative
second test is at 6 week negative
third test is at 11 week 5 days negative
i have canker sores after my exposure which heals and new appears i have also tested negative for syphlis, hepatitis b and c after 3 months.
Anyway, back to my question, has anyone had any problems with sores on their face? I get these crazy bumps that are deep and pretty large. They hurt and they last for weeks. They don't pop. I can't seem to figure out what they are and nothing I put on them seem to make them go away.
If anyone can relate or knows anything about this, please respond! I did just wean off prednisone .....I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
There are some skin conditions associated with cancer that manifest as sores on the body, like Kaposi's sarcoma. The fact that he didn't want her in the room seems kind of telling. (Do you know for sure that he doesn't have HIV or AIDS?)

Ulcers in the mouth sometimes occur in overt AIDS, due either to actual canker sores or other problems that cause similar lesions. However, I stress "overt AIDS". This is not a symptom of early HIV; it is pretty much limited to people with multiple other manifestations of AIDS, mostly in people who are deathly ill. I have never heard of oral ulcers as the only symptom of HIV or of being the very first symptom.

can you get aids or hiv from someone licking and fingering you in the anul? what if that person has a cut or sores in mouth as well as fingers? im asking because i dont know if they did or not. however i would like to cover all the basis. also what if that person is affected as well? someone please help! i havent been to sleep in 24hrs....
The stripper came over and had me put it into my mouth and she stuck her boobs on my face and took the dollar that way. I had a fresh cold /canker sore in my mouth where the dollar probably touched. Could I of gotten hiv this way.
Additionally, I cut my finger badly earlier in the night and had put 2 band aids over it. Am I still ok if shook or held a strippers hand or something. I didn't have a dance or anything more than was listed. The cut was still open but covered under 2 band aids.
I'm done, this is foolish man. Everybody would have aids like this, and by the way, everyone does NOT have aids everywhere you go man. This guy did'nt wipe you down with active bleeding open cuts dripping all over...ocd with this....
No sweetie. She contracted hiv sometime in 2001. She didn't find out til 2009 it was full blown aids. She had mouth sores all the time and skin rashes. But it never crossed her head to go in for a hiv test. She wasn't sexual ly active after that one man who got her infected so she thought she wasn't at risk. When they caught it 5 months later she passed away. Meds didn't help so she was out in hospice care.
I just noticed what seems to be thrush like substance on my inner cheek. I also have an ongoing issue with canker sores. No other symptoms are apparent. I have two questions:
1. Is this thrush a symptom of hiv infection?
2. Are canker sores an issue for hiv infection? Is their presence during oral sex an increase risk for infection?
I occasionally get the painful sores on many different parts of my body (like cold sores, but on my head, legs, butt, and also face) and I also get the watery thin-skinned ones that break easily (and are painful to the touch) but also get "deep" pimples on my face and around my nose and under my eyes. My question is... is herpes causing all of these deep pimples too or do I have some other infection?
I've been getting these sores on my right arm. They start out like bug bites but they stay forever. As soon as i get rid of one another comes on the lower right forearm. I clean them with peroxide,alchol to dry them out, anti-bacterial cremes,cover with band-aids,But nothing =I do seems to work, What could be causing them? I've already checked the different body products i've been using in case of an allergy to them. Could it be caused by milk? Please give me any info.
Quite frequently I have been getting these painful sores or blisters on my face that take quite some time to heal. They start out as hard very painful red bumps and eventually become open-sores 1.5cm in diameter. They have mostly shown up on the left-hand side of my face and neck, primarily around the jaw line on my face. As the bumps progress, some swelling below the skin occurs as if it were an infection.
About a year and a half ago I had a unprotected sexual exposure with someone I barely knew. I noticed a burning sensation when I urinate. Went to the doctor and got tested and I had clamydia. About a month after that I had a light brown blotch on my face I didn't think nothin of it until I started geting these circular brown blotches on my mustache and in between my eyebrows and dry skin around naselfolds about a year later.
I started getting sores on my tongue after i get a cold sore, which I have always had, about 5 months ago and these sores on my tongue have been constant since than. The start as a small dot that develops a white ring and the white ring spreads outward and the sore gets bigger with a shallow red sore inside it. They start and take about 10-15 days to heal and typically occur in same areas, back of tongue and tip of tongue. My tongue also feels hot and burns.
I continue to have these bumps on my arms, some on my face, on my outer rimes of my ears. (Places that aren't shaved)They start burning before anything is there. Then I scratch and a bump will appear, it will continue to burn till I have it bleeding. Once it starts bleeding it will stop burning. Then it will scab over. This burning will start again till I scratch the scab off, once it bleeds the burning stops.
A few days after, I started to feel miserable, like coming down with the flu, and two cold sores developed right under my lower lip and my chin. The sores would come and go over the coming months, but my overall state got better quite quickly.
Then I did what all of us would do, I guess, I browsed the internet for symptoms, and, bang, I started to panic because I felt like I had developed pretty much all symptoms of an acute HIV infection.
